When is it cheaper to go to the sea? The cheapest seaside vacation

01.04.2022

Rest abroad at all times was considered the most expensive pleasure. But recently, tourists can go on vacation abroad freely and the cost of such a vacation will be quite acceptable. Let's take a look at the most cheap vacation abroad in 2019.

In this article, we will try to provide you with a description of the most popular destinations among Russian tourists. Also, many may be interested in reading the information from the article: where to relax without a visa abroad in 2019.

Most popular countries

In Turkey any Russian feels at home and therefore many residents of our country prefer to rest in this country. Turkey is mainly a beach holiday with children on the Black Sea or the Mediterranean. You can also do inexpensive shopping here and naturally visit various attractions. Also, one should not forget about entertainment, which in Turkey is just a huge amount, and therefore every day tourists are waiting for a lot of nightclubs, discos, restaurants and bars.

Holiday prices here fluctuate depending on the time of year, season and part of the country. So, for example, a tour to Antalya will cost about $ 200, to Istanbul - about $ 350, and to Kemer - $ 250. On average, a two-week tour for two can be bought for 1000-1500 dollars, and if you are lucky enough to buy a last-minute tour or go to Turkey in the fall, you can save up to 50% of their cost. Russian tourists prefer Turkey for a good all-inclusive holiday, excellent climate, clear sea and numerous excursions.

Unfortunately, today Türkiye is closed to travel companies and many are tormented by the question of when Turkey will be opened. But you can go on holiday on your own.

Holidays in Egypt on the sea is the most traditional among the inhabitants of Russia, since this direction has long been "travelled" by Russian tourists. Here you can enjoy excellent service in hotels, a warm climate, a huge amount of entertainment for only $ 250 for 7-8 days of excellent rest.

Warm Red Sea, gentle sun, All inclusive and, of course, the ancient pyramids- this is what many tourists come to this city every year for. beautiful country with her ancient history and unique monuments of culture and architecture: the Pyramids, the eternal Sphinx and Luxor, which are visited by tourists, all this is worth it to go to this country on vacation. But this route is closed, although there is information that flights will resume soon.

And, of course, the question will be logical: which is better, Turkey or Egypt in terms of service, comfort, food?

Thailand no less popular than Turkey or Egypt, but in this country the high season begins in mid-autumn and ends in early winter. Therefore, if you want to get the cheapest tour, it is best to count on the month of April or May.

A ticket for a ten-day vacation will cost about 700-800 dollars. The cheapest seaside vacation in 2019 will indeed be in Thailand, since in almost any region of the country you can have a great vacation for $15–25 per day. If you decide to travel on your own, then on average you will need about $ 400 per month for accommodation with the condition of staying in a hotel in downtown Pattaya. But you can find a vacation and cheaper. On the island of Phuket, Chang, Koh Samui, Phi Phi, you can find a hotel room for $150-200 per month. And if one room is enough for you, then you can rent it for 80-90 dollars.

Thailand has very cheap food, so you only need $100 a month for food. For $2 you can have a great lunch in any cafe, and $6 is enough for dinner in a good restaurant. And if you want to fill your suitcase with inexpensive things, then $ 100 will also be enough for you, without even haggling.

The cheapest seaside vacation

Vietnam- this is an incredibly beautiful place where you can find many corners of nature untouched by man. And even despite the ever-increasing popularity of this country, rest in it remains quite acceptable. So, for example, $ 10 a day is enough for one person to stay at a hotel, meals, excursion programs and massage. And if you're willing to spend $20 a day, you'll be able to indulge in nothing. Therefore, 400-500 dollars for an excellent 30-day vacation will be quite enough. But this is not counting the flight, since plane tickets are not included in this price (a direct flight will cost a little more than with transfers).

Read a useful informative article about comparing countries: What to choose - Thailand or Vietnam, Sri Lanka for quality inexpensive holidays, excursions and entertainment?

Goa (India) is another popular tourist destination, as with 100 dollars in your pocket (6000 rupees) you can have a great rest and not deny yourself anything, especially when it comes to northern Goa.

The cost of a holiday in Goa for a European person is quite low, especially far from big cities and metropolitan areas. The most expensive holiday in Goa is in the winter, since the high season begins at this time, but if you buy a ticket in the off-season, then a tour with air travel at the time of price reduction starts at $ 400. But if you decide to go on your own and live in an inexpensive guesthouse, as many young people do, you can save about 20-30% of your money. Goa is very popular among Russians due to its favorable tropical climate and recreation at almost any time of the year.

Abkhazia is located next to Russia and therefore many prefer to go to this country on vacation, as for many it will be the most a budget option have a great time on the Black Sea. I would also like to note that the Russians do not need visas and passports to go on vacation to Abkhazia and the road will take a little time.

If you do not have a large amount of money, then you can choose a vacation in the private sector, where prices for budget housing do not exceed 300–350 rubles per person per day. If you want more comfortable apartments in the private sector, you will have to pay a larger amount - about 500 rubles. Meals per day in Abkhazia will also cost you from 500 rubles per day. Thus, it can be calculated that a seven-day vacation in this country without travel will cost about 5,600 to 10,000 rubles per person.

Holidays in boarding houses and hotels in 2019 will cost much more. So, for example, a double room in a boarding house or sanatorium will cost from 1600 to 8000 rubles per day. Thus, if you are counting on inexpensive vacation in Abkhazia, then you will need an amount of 22,000 rubles for two. For 30,000 rubles for two, you can also see all the sights of this beautiful country.

Many Russians, we are sure, will be curious about the answer to the following question: Where is it better to relax - in Sochi, Crimea or Abkhazia?

But the cheapest vacation abroad at sea awaits you in Bali and Cambodia. These countries offer the cheapest accommodation and food for tourists. In Bali, you can find excellent housing for $100 a month and the same amount of food for 30 days. The only negative is a very expensive flight - about 1000 dollars!

Cambodia and Bali are not very famous countries for tourist holiday, and therefore the question will be logical: Where is Bali and Cambodia?

And in Cambodia, you can find a room for $1.5 a night, and buying delicious and cheap food, you will feel guilty that you are paying people so little. A visit to one of the world's most famous monuments of the Kingdom of Cambodia - Angkor Wat will cost you only $ 5.

Exquisite relaxation

Sri Lanka or Ceylon recently began to enjoy great popularity among Russian tourists, as many want to relax in exotic places where beautiful nature reigns and there are many secluded beautiful places and unique cultural and historical attractions.

And it is in Sri Lanka that you can have a great rest in an inexpensive beach hotel for 10-15 dollars a day. And here you can practice a wide variety of sports: diving, surfing, fishing, kitering, rafting, etc. But plane tickets here are not cheap, so it's best to buy tickets for charter flights or connecting flights. Thus, for a monthly vacation, you will need about 400-500 dollars.

Greece is the country of the ancient gods, the Aegean and mediterranean sea, as well as beautiful picturesque places where you can relax with children at the most reasonable prices. Halkidiki is a gem Aegean Sea, Crete - the island of the legendary Minotaur, Athens - the capital of the country, Rhodes, Peloponnese, Attica, Paros, Corfu and many other islands and resorts in Greece attract many tourists from Russia. And they are all great for family vacation. On average, a vacation in Greece will cost you $250-350 for 7 days. Currently, this country is one of the cheapest countries that require a Schengen visa, who want to fully enjoy the beach and sightseeing vacation on the sea.

Cyprus can not be called very cheap for recreation, but it is very popular among Russians. A ticket to Cyprus from Moscow will cost about $ 200 per person, but if you get on the action of some airline, you can save from 30 to 50%. But living on the island is quite expensive. The cheapest room in Paphos will cost $30-35, but you can rent a room for $25-28 per night. Food in cafes and restaurants is also not cheap, so it is best to buy food in supermarkets, where there are various promotions and discounts.

If you choose where to relax, between the last two countries, then we recommend reading the differences between them: Which is better to choose - Greece or Cyprus, for example, for beach holiday?

Portugal is a member of the Eurozone and therefore cannot boast of the same low prices like Asian countries. But rest here is completely different. It is necessary to go to this beautiful country, which is located in the south-west of the Iberian Peninsula, only to enjoy the taste of excellent seafood, Portuguese cherry liquor - jinjin, port wine, and also visit all architectural monuments Iberian culture of the country, one of which is the famous tower of Belen - a fort on the Tijou River in the region of the same name in Lisbon.

Visited here for the first time new year holidays in 2015. Revisited in summer 2016 and spring 2018.

The main advantages of Prague are, firstly, accessibility (from Moscow and St. Petersburg there are daily flights for 6-7 thousand rubles) and budget (prices correspond to Russian ones, and for some cost categories even lower). Secondly, in addition to the huge number of sights of Prague itself, there are also many interesting things in its environs and neighboring cities.

Sea holidays can be organized not only in Egypt and Turkey. It is quite possible to have a great time on the territory of Russia, especially since it has certain advantages - the cost of living is low, the service has improved to European standards, there is no language barrier.

There are many seas in Russia, so there is an opportunity to visit different parts of the country, getting acquainted not only with their nature, but also with some sights.

Where is the cheapest seaside vacation in Russia in summer

As a place for a vacation in Russia, one can consider the Black, Azov, Baltic and Caspian Sea. On each of them you can find inexpensive, but comfortable places for guests.

Inexpensive resorts in the South

The south of the country is Black and Sea of Azov. , Novorossiysk, Yeysk, Gelendzhik - these cities, of course, are attractive for tourists - well-developed infrastructure, plenty of entertainment, high-level service. But they are also the most expensive for recreation, so you should choose small southern villages, which are rightfully considered resorts. Of the most promising in terms of vacation, there are several.

Arkhipo-Osipovka

A village on the Black Sea, located in a bay and protected from the winds by mountains. This amazing place: a lot of tourists come here, but they somehow "dissolve" in the settlement, so there are no large concentrations either in the amusement park, or in canteens and cafes, or on the beach.

Vacationers can stay in hotels and guest houses, there is always the opportunity to use private services - the cost of a bed varies between 400 - 600 rubles, depending on the season.

True, amenities will be on the street, and the kitchen will be shared. It is interesting that it is not worth talking about the remoteness of housing in Arkhipo-Osipovka from the sea - from anywhere in the village you can reach the beach on foot in 15-20 minutes.

This settlement offers its guests to visit the Museum of Wine and Bread, a miniature oceanarium, and a children's water park. There is also a lot of entertainment on the beach and the promenade: a boat trip to the open sea with swimming, fishing with the obligatory catch of stingrays (by the way, they are very tasty in baked form) and sardines, riding a banana / cheesecake, a lot of attractions, a dolphinarium and a crocodile farm.

If it becomes completely boring, then at any time you can go to Gelendzhik - a large resort city.

Separately, it is worth mentioning cafes and canteens. Many visitors from megacities believe that communism is here in terms of price. A 3-course lunch for one person costs 400 rubles, and the choice of such “public catering” establishments is simply huge. If it is supposed to independently solve the food program, then you can use network markets with quite adequate food prices.

Villages near Anapa

There are several of them: Bolshoy Utrish, the village of Blagoveshchenskaya, Vityazevo, Sukko. All of them are located within 20 km from Anapa and only Blagoveshchenskaya is 40 km away. It's quite quiet resort villages that can offer vacationers and clean beaches and shopping and entertainment.

Bolshoi Utrish is famous for the Zhemchuzhny waterfall and the stationary dolphinarium, a special attraction is the century-old lighthouse, which still performs its functions. There is the main village beach, and literally 1 km from it - a nudist one.

Fans of wild recreation, quiet places and tranquility will definitely appreciate the cost of living in this village - 500 - 700 rubles per person in the private sector and 700 - 1000 rubles in a hotel. Meals are not included in this price, but a developed network of cafes and canteens will not leave anyone hungry.

Vityazevo and Sukko are places protected from the winds, where the air is somewhat drier than in Anapa, but no less useful for that. In Sukko, the beach is pebbly, located 1 km from the village. These 2 objects are connected by an excellent highway, and public transport runs daily and every 3-5 minutes in both directions.

The village of Blagoveshchenskaya deserves special attention - it is located 40 km from Anapa, it has a sandy beach several kilometers long. Those who do not like noisy parties and nightclubs come here to relax. In the village you can rent a room or a house from local residents - the prices are quite reasonable, only 500 - 1500 rubles per day, depending on the level of the guest house.

Resort villages of the Sea of Azov

Here the choice is much smaller, but according to the reviews of those who have already visited them, it is worth paying attention to Kuchugury, Ilyich and Peresyp. It's small and cozy settlements, which has everything for a comfortable stay:

  • sandy beaches with a flat bottom;
  • the shallow depth of the sea is the best option for children;
  • local bazaars with fresh vegetables and fruits, fish and dairy products;
  • grocery and souvenir shops.

There are also small amusement parks, and various "entertainment" on the beach - from cheesecakes and "bananas" to water slides.

The cost of living is "magic" - you can rent a house in Ilyich for 1500 - 3000 rubles per day, a little cheaper in Peresyp - up to 2500 rubles.

Such houses have everything you need for a comfortable stay: household appliances, amenities, bedding, towels, dishes, barbecue facilities in the yards, a gazebo, and often a bath or sauna. In Kuchugury, it is cheaper to use the services of a private trader - you can rent a bed for 250-500 rubles per day. The question of food will not stand: there are cafes with canteens, and grocery stores, and locals consistently supply tourists with products of their own manufacture.

Thrifty in the Caspian

The Caspian Sea should have been called a lake, since it has no outlet to the ocean. But this natural reservoir is too large in size, and the climate is fully consistent with the sea. As a result, the Caspian has become one of the summer holiday destinations, which successfully combines modern service, sea beaches, historical sights and the opportunity to visit the Volga.

The most comfortable and cheap places to relax in the summer on the Caspian Sea are:

  • Astrakhan is a large and noisy city with a developed infrastructure, the cost of living in a hotel starts from 1500 rubles per day for a double room;
  • Lagan is a quiet and calm city with a slightly developed infrastructure, but with the opportunity to have a good rest with children, the cost of living in the private sector is from 250 rubles per person per day;
  • Kaspiysk is a fairly developed settlement in Dagestan, all hotels are guarded, so tourists are not in danger, the cost of living in a double room on an all-inclusive program starts from 1350 rubles per day.

The cheapest thing to do in the Caspian Sea is to rest in Derbent and Makhachkala. These places are considered unpopular with tourists, so the prices for accommodation, food and entertainment are much lower than in resorts. Krasnodar Territory. In these cities, each guest is valued, they are provided with a comfortable and safe stay, and the mass of historical sights and the beauty of nature make the rest not only useful, but also educational.

On the coast of the Baltic Sea there are also small villages - Morskoye, Lesnoye and Rybachy. But the cost of living in them will start from 1500 rubles per day per person. There are very few hotels in these villages, so it is advisable to stay in Zelenogradsk and from there make mini-travels.

Recommendations for organizing a cheap summer holiday on the seas of Russia

  • Cheaper rest will be where there is none a large number vacationers. It is better to look for small settlements. The infrastructure in them may not be the most developed, but quite acceptable.
  • If there is no way without noise and fun, then in large resort cities it is worth choosing housing at some distance from the sea. Its cost will be cheaper, and public transport in such places works fine.
  • A cheap seaside vacation in the summer is one in which the problem of nutrition is solved on its own. Rooms with a shared kitchen are inexpensive in any resort town, they are all equipped with a TV and air conditioning, but there may be no amenities (shower and toilet will be outside).
  • Do not be afraid of Dagestan - in this republic, the security system of hotels and hotels that have their own access to the sea beaches works perfectly. But in the Caspian Sea, vacation will really be cheap both in terms of the cost of living, and in terms of the price of lunches, excursions, and souvenirs.

Rest in the summer at sea becomes available to the bulk of the population. It is worth making an effort in advance to choose a specific place, book a room or a room in the private sector. With this approach, you will be able to have a good rest without emptying your bank account.

Find out where you can cheaply relax at sea in the summer of 2020 abroad and in Russia! We have chosen the most popular destinations for relaxing by the sea and calculated for each cost index. It will help you understand where to rest is cheap and where is expensive. Compare indexes, choose a resort and fly on a vacation on a budget.

How do we calculate the index?

We calculate two indexes of the cost of rest: for vacationers on a tour and for independent tourists.

Tour rest index. For each destination we find the cheapest tours for two for 10 days. To the cost of the tour per person, we add the cost of a visa (if necessary). The result is divided by 10. We get the cost of rest per day per person.

Independent travel index. We sum up the main expenses of the tourist and divide by 10:

  • Air tickets. We are looking for the cheapest round-trip flight from Moscow. Tickets can be without luggage and with transfers.
  • Housing. We find double rooms at the lowest price, we do not consider hostels. Calculation per person for 10 days.
  • Visa (if needed).

What do we not consider? Meals, transportation, excursions, etc. - these expenses are individual, they are difficult to calculate. Our index does not reflect all the costs of a trip, but allows you to compare the cost of a holiday by base points.

Why are tickets and tours only from Moscow considered? Firstly, most tourists fly from the capital on vacation. Secondly, the cheapest tickets and tours are usually from Moscow. If we count the indexes for departures from all cities of Russia, the review will surpass "War and Peace" in terms of volume.

And even cheaper? Can! In some cases, your vacation will cost even less than according to our calculations. You will save if:

  • find a cheap one or ;
  • you already have and you are going to Europe;
  • fly for a holiday in the low season.

Prices have been updated for the summer season 2020 and are indicated in Russian rubles. Indices for European countries are duplicated in euros, for Asia - in US dollars.

Exchange rate: 1 US dollar ≈ 67 RUB.
