Butterfly Valley

Butterfly Valley is a bay near Fethiye, Türkiye.

Now, if you imagine Turkey as the most southeastern edge of Europe, then this magical place is located in this place. Far from noisy beaches and dreary hotels... Leaving the usual rest for snobs, plunge into a feeling of unity with nature... This is the Valley of the Butterflies.
Butterfly Valley is located on west coast Belgeiz Bay. You can only get here by sea, so ships depart from Fethiye to this wonderful place every day.

Butterfly Valley is one of the most attractive places in the vicinity of Fethiye. In 1995, this valley was declared a nature reserve and is completely closed to buildings. Now here is a zone of relaxation, pleasure, an area of unity with nature, here you can stay in small bungalows, there is a cafe where master classes on cooking Indian food are held. Soft ottomans are scattered on the beach, hammocks are strung between the trees, and there are areas for yoga and meditation. There is a library. There is a rock bar where you can fall asleep on soft mattresses right on the rocks and sleep all night to the sound of the surf... It’s surprisingly quiet and peaceful here...

Where to feel the romance of history?

Abandoned city of the Khmer Empire - Angkor Wat, Cambodia.

The jungle can be romantic and mysterious... Especially among the moss-covered buildings shrouded in mangrove roots. It’s difficult to describe in words, but despite the high tourist attractiveness of the place, it creates a feeling of complete prostration and relaxation.

Abandoned city of the Inca Empire - Machu Picchu, Peru

Let's move from the jungles of Southeast Asia to the high mountain jungles of Peru...
This city was created as a sacred mountain retreat by the great Inca ruler Pachacutec a century before the conquest of his empire, around 1440, and functioned until 1532, when the Spanish invaded the Inca Empire.
It was discovered by an American researcher from Yale University, Professor Hiram Bingham on July 24, 1911. When he got here, accompanied by a government security detail and a local boy guide, he discovered peasants living there.
After reading this story, I can’t help but imagine the feelings of this historian when suddenly, in the middle of the jungle, a real city appeared before my eyes...

Of the “new wonders of the world,” Machu Picchu probably left the most vivid mark on my memory.
Only here you can meet the best sunrise in the world, when a magical city opens up to your eyes from behind the dissipating clouds:

Iguazu Falls, Brazil

Element and romance, what could be stronger than the emotions of strength, power and passion?
The mesmerizing power of millions of tons of falling water, the energy of infinity! Kilowatts of sound and

Lake Konigsee, Bavaria, Germany

Deafening silence of calm and silence! Every sound is mirrored by the steep cliffs of the gorge in which this amazing lake is located.
The place is beautiful at any time of the year, but especially in winter.

Salzburg, Austria

A small cozy Austrian town...
It is my favorite city on the planet, I have been here many times and some of the brightest moments of my life are associated with it.

The town of Porto Moniz, Madeira island in the Atlantic Ocean, Portugal.

From the capital of the island, Funchal, to the town of Porto Moniz at the other end of the island can be reached in 2 hours by bus along a mountain serpentine road. On the other side of the island, the coast is completely different, there are few built-up houses, only occasionally you come across small villages, but there are huge wide coastal strips - there is a place where the ocean can rage. This part of the island turned out to be much more beautiful!! The small resort of Porto Moniz is simple perfect place For family vacation and those who like to relax away from the bustle of the city of Funchal. What else I especially liked about this town are the natural pools, which are made right in the ocean, the fences are filled with concrete, behind which the ocean is always raging, and in these pools it is calm and pleasant to swim. Moreover, these pools look absolutely natural, all the stones and rocks were left, just separated enough large territory to different pools with convenient entries and information signs about the depth in different areas.

This is exactly the place where paradise must be in a hut, because the sensations are given by those who are nearby; real romance cannot be bought with money.

Trincomalee town, Ceylon island in the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka.

The bright equatorial sun, the calm, barely visible surf of the Indian Ocean, a coconut falling from the sky, a thatched hippie cafe on the shore, a swarthy waiter with a glass of fresh banana...
Very close to the Maldives with a terry touch of artificial chic, and here is a small cozy hotel for 30 dollars and the simplicity of carelessness...

Lighthouses at the ends of the earth

Isle of Skye, Scotland.

The westernmost point of the Isle of Skye... Cold wind from the ocean and beautiful sunset.
Neit Point Lighthouse. A soft combination of yellow and black instead of red, a beautiful sunset, not a soul around... probably the most romantic lighthouse in the world :) It was built in 1909, the 18-meter lighthouse rises at an altitude of 62 meters above sea level. Its light is visible 24 miles away. The lighthouse itself is nameless; it got its name from the westernmost cape of the island.

The lighthouse and the sea are generally something incredible in terms of concentration of feelings, sensations, and emotions.

Cape Roca (Cabo da Roca), Portugal
Another place that can be called "the end of the earth." Cape Roca is the westernmost point of continental Europe.

Or the lighthouse at the southern end of Öland, Sweden:

But the most romantic sea in the world for me is the Baltic!
Shallow, cold, often restless, it has an absolutely special energy, not inherent in the relaxed southern seas and oceans...

The town of Ystad on the southern coast of Sweden, spa hotel "Ystad Saltsjobad"

Hel Peninsula, Poland.

Breathe the pure Baltic air… - a place on the shore of the the best sea on Earth - Baltic!
Step back in time... - in this place time really stopped!
Listen to the silence... - just listen to the silence!
So Far, So Close... That's it! Peninsula HEL! - So far and so close at the same time. A spit going beyond the horizon. This is the end of the Earth, this is Hel!

Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), Himalayas, Nepal.

With your loved one it is warm, cozy and comfortable everywhere... even on the “roof of the world” in the Himalayas:
Only here is crystal clear fresh air and an intoxicating feeling of happiness and peace, only here, at an altitude of 4500m, you can fool around all night long, drawing emotions of joy with a flashlight...

Kola Peninsula in the Arctic Circle, Russia.

Just the two of us are warm on a polar day on the slopes of the Khibiny, when the sun appears over the horizon for only an hour...

Just the two of us are warm in the dead of night, standing in the middle of a frozen northern lake at -40C, when the sky plays with the incredible waves of the Northern Lights.
We stayed in Kirovsk for a week, but we saw the lights on the last night, and we only came here for that.
To say it's magical is an understatement. These are emotions that cannot be expressed in words!

Athens at night

But the time of love is of course evening!
Acropolis and Athens for two...

Night Rio de Janeiro

Probably the most interesting urban landscape I've ever seen. Beautiful green stone mountains weird shape, slums and skyscrapers... and the Atlantic Ocean. This is Rio... Bird's eye view at night with Sugarloaf. Rio at night. Two lines cable car and we are at the top. The night city is at your fingertips.

Night over Bangkok.

And late night dessert :)
Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

We were in Bangkok for only 1 day, but we were never able to leave the hotel... We happily exchanged the bustle of the city for incredible relaxation in a room on the 71st floor...
The hotel is located in the very tall building in Thailand.
