Choice of transport

Due to the compact size of the country, most of the sights of Montenegro can be visited as part of day trips from Budva or other resorts.

IN National parks and mountains of Montenegro do not run buses, and that is where all the most interesting things are located. If there are at least two of you, then renting a car + gasoline will cost the same or less than traveling by public transport, especially for long distances.

Day 5

Lake Piva - Zabljak - nat. Durmitor park - Dzhurdzhevich bridge and canyons of the Tara rivers, Moracha - Ostrog monastery

Piva Lake, 170 km from Budva

Here we look at the lake and the Piva Monastery of the 16th century. Must see in Montenegro.

Zabljak, 187 km from Budva

Zabljak is the center of mountain tourism in Montenegro near the Durmitor park. If you are traveling by bus, you need to buy a ticket to Zabljak. This town has all the infrastructure (housing, cafes).

Dzhurdzhevich Bridge, 201 km from Budva

, 100 km from Budva

Ostrog Monastery (17th century) is the main shrine of Montenegro. Located in a rock at an altitude of 900 m above the sea. The relics of St. Basil are kept here, to which pilgrims from all over Montenegro come. The relics are usually asked for health or children. The place is really bright and energetically strong.

How to get there?

The north and northeast of Montenegro is insanely beautiful, so if you need to choose just one tour, I recommend visiting the canyons and national park Durmitor.

This is an extremely busy route, but quite feasible. It is better to leave early in the morning.

We went to Durmitor by car and managed to see all the places listed above in one day, 500 km behind 12 hours. To walk along the hiking trails of Durmitor Park, one day is clearly not enough. Better to go overnight.

In preparing for the trip, I was guided by the description with some adjustments.

It was planned to go only to the nat. Durmitor Park and the Tara River, but in the end we also managed to visit the Ostrog Monastery on the way back. We arrived in Ostrog at 6 pm, when the last tour buses took tourists to the resorts. No queues (during the day you can stand in line for an hour or two to the relics).

Alternative road. If you do not go to Ostrog, you can go back along the highway through Kolasin to Podgorica, see the national park along the way Biogradska Gora, canyon of the river Moraca and walk along suspension bridge over the river Moraca(it is indicated on my map of attractions in the description of the 5th day, red icons).

All these places, except Ostrog, can be visited within the framework. Look for the name "Canyons" - 40€ or the Grand Canyons - it is more intense and worth 65€ from a person.

Ostrog Monastery can be visited on another day by purchasing a tour of the monasteries, worth 25€

By public transport you can reach the city of Zabljak. There is one bus from Budva at 8.45, it costs 16€ one way, on the way 5 o'clock. If this bus does not fit, then we go from Budva to Podgorica and there we take a bus to Zabljak (4 flights a day).

Day 6

Ulcinj – Velika Plazha – Ada Bojana island – Bar

, 70 km from Budva

Resort in the south of Montenegro on the border with Albania. Famous sandy beaches and a special atmosphere (energetic Albanian music plays, a completely different contingent of vacationers than on the Budva Riviera)

Bar, 52 km from Budva

The Bar has an Old Bar and a New Bar. In the Old City (entrance 2€ ) mosque, 17th century fortress, church and cathedral, old olive tree (2000 years old). New Bar is the largest port in Montenegro and a popular resort (a dubious choice for a beach holiday, but there are enough vacationers).

How to get there?

For recreation, I would not choose these places, but for a day go to Ulcinj and it's definitely worth a ride on the surrounding beaches. Landscapes and the sea are not at all the same as in the north of the country.

If you are traveling by bus 7.5€, 2 hours), you will have to walk a lot or spend money on a taxi, because distances are large and public transport between Ulcinj and the beaches there is none. It is better to drive your own car to see the city, the long beach, and the island of Ada Bojana.

Bar can be visited on the way to Ulcinj or on the way back. If you purposefully want only to Bar, then buses run from Budva ( 5€, 1 hour). From New Bar to Old 5km. Can be reached on foot or by bus 1€ .

Day 7

Lake Skadar - Rijeka Crnojevic - Podgorica

Skadar Lake, 43 km from Budva

Skadar Lake is one of the largest bird sanctuaries in Europe. We go to the city of Virpazar, where we ride a boat on the Skadar Lake to the Gmozhur fortress. You can visit other lake monasteries on the islands.

How to get there?

On the Slavic beach of Budva they sell a boat trip along the Budva Riviera for 5€ (40 minutes, the boat from Budva sails to Sveti Stefan, goes around the island, and then brings to o-in the saint Nicholas, and a few hours later he takes him back to Budva). An alternative is to purposefully sail to the island on a boat for 3€ There and back again.

Day 9

Saint Stephen - monasteries - lookout mountains Chelobrdo

, 8 km from Budva

This is a closed island. If you are not a guest of the Aman Sveti Stefan hotel, you can get to Sveti Stefan by booking a table in a restaurant. I haven't been to the island, I've only looked at the restaurant's menu. The most expensive dish is there 80€ , there are dishes and 30€ .

The second option to get to the island is to buy an excursion for 20€ from a person. Sold in the village of St. Stefan, you need to buy in advance (a couple of hours), the demand is high. There are two excursions per day: 11.00 and at 14.00, lasts 1 hour.

You can not go to the island, but admire it from the beach or from the observation deck.

In Montenegro, there are less popular attractions: natural Park Damn and mountain range Belasitsa, Kirilovac monastery near Kolasin, Nevidio canyon, abandoned forts, wild beaches, docks for submarines, many hiking trails in the mountains, but the places listed in this article are quite enough for the first acquaintance with the country.

  • Sveti Stefan beach– here you can swim in the sea, look at the mountains and admire the island
  • Beach in Budva- maybe at the peak of the season the bay loses its charm, but when there are few tourists, here is paradise and magically colored water
  • Oysters and mussels with buzara sauce Jadran restaurant on the embankment in Budva - not quite an attraction, but enjoying seafood while in Montenegro will not be superfluous

According to the local population, Mount Durmitor is like the shoulders of a mighty giant who holds the heavens with them.

In a very wide area of the park are located 18 glacial lakes. And the most famous of them is the Black Lake. In addition to the lakes located here, Durmitor is also famous for its snowy mountain peaks, which cannot but captivate.

Considered the most high point mountain range. Unforgettable impressions will remain even after visiting the ice caves: as if many stalactites and stalagmites merge into a single ice picture.

Dzhurdzhevich Bridge

Concrete arch bridge located at the crossroads between three cities - Pljevlja, Zabljak, Maikovac - and passing through the Tara River. It was named after the owner of a nearby farm.

The tragic story of the bridge still resonates in human hearts. It was built between 1938 and 1940. Its chief engineer was Lazer Yaukovich, whose fate is worthy of sincere regret. Due to the onset of the Second World War, he was forced to blow up his creation with his own hands. However, he tried to do it in such a way that in the future it would be possible to restore the project. For such a cunning combination, the Nazis ruthlessly shot him.

Today, at the entrance to the bridge, a monument to an outstanding engineer has been erected.

Tara river canyon

Tara is the longest river in Montenegro, stretching for 144 km. Mountains surround the canyon on all sides. It holds the status of the deepest canyon in Europe, second only to the Grand Canyon in the United States.

This place, first of all, should be visited by those tourists who come to Montenegro in search of adventure: steep banks, deep abysses, narrow river rapids, winding passages, sharp bends.

The best option to see all the beauties and delights of the canyon, to feel the full power of Tara is to go rafting.

Lovcen National Park

The national pride of the Montenegrin land, its symbol and object of national worship is the Lovcen mountain range. Since 1959, having received the status national park, it was established as a protector of nature and also the architectural, cultural, historical heritage of Montenegro. The total area of the territory is 62 sq. km.

The park offers tourists to get acquainted with a huge number of ancient architectural structures, as well as with flora and fauna.

Among the historical monuments, the mausoleum of Bishop Peter the Second Petrovich, located on the Jezerskaya Peak, deserves special attention. To get to his monastery, you need to climb 462 steps.

In addition, Lovcen is known for its unusual climate. Thanks to this, there is a unique opportunity to enjoy both the unimaginable expanses of the blue sea and the beauty of snow-capped mountain peaks.

Skadar lake

It is considered the most big lake on the Balkan Peninsula. Shkodra is located immediately on the territory of 2 states: Montenegro and Albania. At the same time, most of it belongs to Montenegro. This majestic reservoir is inhabited by a huge number of birds and rich in fish. Cozy old villages stretched along the coast of the lake. Churches and ruins of fortresses rise on the islands.

Millions of tourists visit this place to see with their own eyes the beauty of this beautiful and ancient lake. Exotic pelicans and cormorants are its main attraction.

Ostrog monastery

Ostrog Monastery, located high in the rocky mountains at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level, is a well-known shrine not only in the country, but also far beyond its borders. Metropolitan Basil of Herzegovina founded it in the 17th century. This monastery complex includes several monasteries at once, interconnected by a winding mountain road.

Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world visit this shrine every year. For them, it is the most blessed place where you can cleanse your soul and body. In one of the monastery churches, the incorrupt relics of St. Basil lie to this day.

Top 10 most beautiful cities in Montenegro

The country is called the pearl of the Adriatic, and this is true: in terms of the number of attractions and the beauty of architecture, it is in no way inferior to the popular Croatia, with which it has an elusive resemblance. The undoubted advantage is the relatively small number of tourists, which will allow you to enjoy beach holiday and inspection of the monument without the accompaniment of crowds of tourists.

There are many beautiful and interesting cities in Montenegro, many of which boast a historical center that has survived to this day from the Middle Ages. There are many ancient fortresses and castles, narrow cobbled streets surrounded by houses with tiled roofs, ancient churches and temples that combine Balkan flavor and European cultural traditions.
The most beautiful cities in Montenegro include:

  1. Kotor
  2. Sveti Stefan
  3. Budva
  4. Perast
  5. Petrovac
  6. Herceg Novi
  7. Ulcinj
  8. Cetinje
  9. Tivat

Kotor - at the top of the ranking

Kotor is one of most beautiful cities not only Montenegro, but the entire Adriatic. Its location is unique: surrounded by mountains, it seems to be in a natural bowl, from which the most picturesque Bay of Kotor bursts out - a real natural miracle.

The historical old center, where you can walk endlessly, is also unusually beautiful. It is under the protection of UNESCO and is an open-air museum that annually attracts millions of tourists. In the lower part of the city, it is worth just wandering through the tangled streets with old bridges and stone houses with traditional tiled roofs. It is also worth visiting the 12th-century Cathedral of St. Tryphon, where a collection of church utensils has been preserved.

But to see the main pearl of Kotor, you will literally have to sweat. The path to the Kotor fortress founded in the 13th century takes about an hour, and you will have to go uphill along the old stone steps. As a reward, visitors receive a real medieval flavor and the best panoramas in the country of the magnificent bay and ancient city.

Sveti Stefan - a popular touristic medieval island hotel

Sveti Stefan is perhaps the most recognizable resort in Montenegro, which is an elite island hotel. In the 15th century, a fortress was built on a small island connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus to protect the locals from pirates. In the 20th century, narrow medieval streets, stone buildings and small squares were carefully restored. After the island was turned into a closed hotel, where many celebrities rested: from Elizabeth II to Sophia Loren and Sylvester Stallone.

You can get to Sveti Stefan only with a tour or by staying at a hotel. And you can see the same postcard panorama of the island from the shore. Nearest locality next to it is the village of Milocher, which also has the status of one of the most elite Balkan resorts. It is famous for the royal residence of the Karađorđevićs, in which a luxurious park is laid out on an area of 18 hectares.

Budva - beautiful and interesting

Budva is one of the most dynamic, modern and tourist cities in the country, where guests will find a lot of entertainment, cozy restaurants, stylish bars and noisy discos. In the evenings, it is pleasant to walk along the embankment, peering into the lights of the city at night, and in the daytime to watch the play of turquoise sea from it. There are many excellent beaches in the city and its environs, which are given a special flavor by the rugged coastline forming small bays.

The most beautiful place in Budva is its Old city, behind the fortress walls of which are crowded medieval stone houses with tiled roofs. It is worth seeing the majestic Citadel and finding observation deck, which offers a stunning panorama of the seaside city.

Perast - must visit

The most colorful town in Montenegro, of course, is Perast, lost in the Bay of Kotor. Two- and three-storey stone houses with tiled roofs approaching the water itself look like a scenery for a film about the Middle Ages, and cozy streets full of greenery have a magical effect on guests. After a walk along the picturesque embankment, it is worth going on a boat trip to neighboring islands, where the current abbey and the Church of Our Lady on the Reef are located.

The legend is connected with the latter about how the sailors who miraculously escaped from the shipwreck found the icon of the Virgin Mary in the reef rocks. Near the reef, old boats began to sink, and subsequently the law obliged all ships passing by to throw stones here. After 200 years, an artificial island formed on the site of the reefs, on which they built a small church with a bell tower and turquoise domes - one of the most comfortable and beautiful in Montenegro.

Petrovac is an interesting option for non-banal tourists

One of the main advantages of the small resort town of Petrovac is amazing nature and excellent ecology. The settlement is surrounded on all sides by pine trees that fill the air with an unusual aroma of pine needles and healing phytoncides. From Petrovac, through a mountain pass, it is worth reaching the beach of Perazic with unusually clear water and relative privacy.

The main feature of the beach is an unfinished hotel standing right on the shore - a real gift for stalkers. On the way to the beach, tourists will find breathtaking scenery of the city and the rugged coastline. The most unusual part of the route is the passage of passes through tunnels, which attract with mysterious charm.

Herceg Novi - colorful and romantic

Herceg Novi is shrouded in a romantic veil: it has long been chosen by poets and artists, and the mimosa festival is also held here - one of the most fragrant and beautiful holidays in the country. Due to the abundance of greenery, it is called " botanical garden» states, and guests of the resort celebrate fresh and clean air with sea notes. One of the most picturesque and beloved places in Herceg Novi is the embankment stretching for several kilometers. It is surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars where it is pleasant to dine while watching the sunset.

In addition to all the charms of a small resort, interesting sights and vibrant architecture await tourists here. In the old center, a harmonious combination of different styles and eras is striking, creating a unique flavor. The settlement owes this to its rich historical past: in different periods, the Spaniards, Turks and Venetians ruled here.

The main historical sights are the Forte Mare fortress built by King Tvrtko I in 1382 and the gloomy Bloody Tower that appeared during the Ottoman rule. It is worth visiting the Savina Monastery, built over a thousand years ago and retaining traces of numerous reconstructions in its appearance.

Bar - suitable for fans of thoughtful relaxation

Among other Montenegrin resorts, Bar is undeservedly relegated to the background. However, it is worth visiting for tourists who prefer a relaxing holiday, beautiful beaches with clean water and ancient fortresses. In the modern part of the town, which is lined up along the picturesque Barskaya Bay, there are about 20 beaches for every taste. The town and its surroundings are famous for their extensive olive groves. In one of them grows an olive tree over 2,000 years old - it is considered the oldest in Europe and is a symbol of Bar. Also in the vicinity there are many plantations of fruit trees: pomegranates, figs, tangerines and oranges.

Old Bar, founded in the 11th century, is a well-preserved medieval settlement with 250 old buildings. Among them are the Clock Tower, as well as the aqueduct and the Omerbašić XV mosque, built during the reign of the Turks in the region. It is worth seeing the ruins of the Cathedral of St. George, which in the 11th century had the status of a cathedral. Abandoned houses overgrown with grass and dense thickets give a special flavor to the ancient settlement. Thanks to this, there is a special, not at all a museum atmosphere here, which allows you to feel the true spirit of the past.

Ulcinj is an interesting option to visit in the south of the country

Ulcinj is located in the south of the state, almost on the border with Albania. One of the main advantages of the resort is excellent beaches with fine golden sand and the picturesque Valdanos bay with clear emerald water. The settlement is surrounded by olive groves, where it is pleasant to walk in the morning and at sunset. Nearby is the main natural attraction - the majestic Skadar Lake, the largest and cleanest in the Balkans.

It is impossible to ignore the historical center with stone houses and cobblestone pavements typical for the region. There are many restaurants, souvenir shops and galleries here, but its main charm is in the colorful interweaving of different cultures: the city, founded in the 5th century BC, changed owners more than once.
In the Upper Town, it is worth visiting the Citadel, famous for the fact that Cervantes was imprisoned here, who during this period created the image of Don Quixote's beloved Dulcinea - a girl from Ulcinj.

Cetinje - famous cultural and historical capital

Founded in 1482, the town of Cetinje can be called the historical and cultural capital of Montenegro. It does not look like resort seaside towns: calm, but unusually colorful, it seems to convey the spirit of old Montenegro. Of particular interest is the local architecture, which combines stone houses typical of the country, ancient churches and bright multi-colored houses with snow-white architraves and colorful flower beds on openwork balconies. There are cozy restaurants everywhere where you can wait out the midday heat, as well as interesting souvenir shops selling handicrafts. Many of them are created right in front of tourists, for example, elegant forged products.

The main attractions of Cetinje are associated with the name of the last Montenegrin king Nikola I. Here is his residence and the Church of the Nativity Holy Mother of God in which he was buried. Among other religious monuments, it is worth noting the Cetinje Monastery, where pilgrims from all over the world flock to touch a particle of the tree of the Life-Giving Cross and the Hand of John the Baptist.

Tivat - modern and luxurious

The beauty of Tivat differs from most Montenegrin towns: there are few ancient sights here, there is no medieval center with stone houses and a fortress wall. The main airport of the country is located here, but after landing, you should not immediately leave the hospitable city: staying here for at least a couple of days, you can learn more about the life of modern Montenegro.

One of the most beautiful places in Tivat is the yacht marina - the most luxurious in the entire Adriatic, where you can take atmospheric photos in luxury style or go on a boat trip. Porto-Montenegro is also called “the harbor of millionaires”, because out of 400 mooring places, a hundred are allocated for yachts longer than 100 m. An elite quarter with luxurious restaurants and boutiques has formed around the marina. There is also a panoramic pool "Purabich", one of the ten most beautiful in the world.

I have the TOP of the most beautiful and unusual places in Montenegro varies from year to year. I am immersed more and more in the country and fall in love like a first-grader girl. And these are not popular sights of Montenegro, on the contrary, they should have silence, picturesque pictures, authenticity in architecture, local residents unspoiled by mass tourism. In the summer, I advise everyone to escape for a couple of days from the noisy coast to the mountains, explore the trails, old settlements, mountain lakes ...

You can list the wild beauties of Montenegro for a long time ... but I will tell you about the most beautiful places for me personally, here my soul rests, and my eyes rejoice at the beauty 🏝🏡🌄🌅

1. Komovi Mountains

These mountains are hidden from the bustle of the city and tourists, Komovi does not sell any travel agency on the embankment of Budva or Herceg Novi, and that's great! And the mountains are a special world where you are finally left alone, you begin to hear yourself and hidden desires, calm nervous system, let go of the problems accumulated during the working week. And only then you begin to notice the beauty around, and nature fills you with positive energy.

in Montenegro they became a discovery for me last year, and if I have a couple of days off again, I will not hesitate to go to these 3 peaks, which are not inferior in beauty to the mountains of Durmitor or Prokletije. Total 170 km from Budva, and you feel the aroma of mountain herbs, hear the whistling of the wind, the murmur of streams, the singing of birds ... Near the mountain pass Treshnevik you will meet several places where you can rent a house or put up a tent nearby, I advise (their phone. +38267380532) or on the mountain pass, and if you are with a jeep, then stop at the very foot of the mountains in Katun Martinovica

2. Prokletiye mountains and Grebae valley

Another wild place in Montenegro, where civilization has recently reached. The Prokletiye Mountains were declared a national park only in 2009, without receiving promotion, funds, or popularity among the mass tourist because of this. The place still remains semi-wild, interesting for lovers of trekking, nature, and relaxation. Among the overhanging formidable cliffs of Prokletiye there are several valleys where sheep and cows graze, simple eco-katuns and restaurants were immediately erected. For example, on Booking you will find beautiful bungalows for 4 people, ask for a wood-burning stove

From Montenegro, I advise you to go to the Grebae valley through Albania ( on the map), the new transit road will captivate you with a beautiful canyon, picturesque serpentines, the mountain river Cievna and hospitable Albanians, be sure to take a break in Tamare village for a cup of coffee/beer. For Russians and Belarusians from April 1 to October 31, 2019, for Ukrainians and Kazakhs - all year round. And in the photo below - the peak of the Volushnitsa peak, where we went trekking last August ()

3. Poselani village on Skadar Lake

In past centuries, a village in the bays of Lake Skadar Poseljani was a rich place, nature rewarded it with a powerful waterfall, which helped to grind wheat and corn into flour for a huge region! The millstones of 14 mills were spinning here, because of which Montenegrins from all over the area arrived on donkeys or boats on the lake. A century ago, kafans, shops and even a kind of casino worked here. Now there is none of that. The earthquake of 1979 also changed the waterfall, and the Montenegrins no longer needed to live that primitive life with the factories built in Podgorica and tourism in Budva.

Again, tourism did not affect settlers because of an unimportant road ... The bus will not pass, only a passenger car. locals, of which only a few remained, built at their own expense an asphalt road from the highway to the village, but closed it to the barrier. At the same time, they are waiting for tourists 🙂 The vicious circle can be broken by leaving the car on the upper track near the cypresses and going down on foot for 15 minutes to the waterfall. I advise you to take a swimsuit and refresh yourself in cold water in the hot summer.

I love the villagers for a real picture of the Montenegrin village, you can close your eyes and imagine donkeys on this bridge with sacks of flour. Or women at the waterfall doing laundry. But alas, everything has sunk into the past

4. Mountain pass Sedlo in Durmitor National Park

50 km connects the regional cities, but you will drive 1.5 - 2 hours due to winding serpentines, sheep and cows blocking your path. This road passes among the most high peaks Durmitor National Park, and will leave an indelible impression in your memory!

On a winding road it is impossible to pass a huge bus, so the usual excursion "Canyons" does not include trips ...

  • (not a convertible), if you are confident in your abilities, it is better to spend the night in Zabljak to enjoy the mountains -.
  • Buy the Grand Canyons tour, they take you in a minibus
  • I can recommend a good driver-guide who takes the Big Circle around Durmitor and the River Canyons, the cost of such an excursion is 200-250 euros, depending on the season, seats in the car.

5. Panorama of Sveti Stefan and Crvena Glavica beach

You can admire the island hotel from different points, but I like it - less known and hard to reach - at Saint Sava Church. There is an asphalt road, but in serpentines and gullies. They like to do wedding ceremonies or romantic photo shoots here. But we come for the sake of silence, contemplation on the red roofs of the Budva Riviera and islands in the sea. I especially like it in spring, late autumn with a bottle of wine and get high with a view of the live photo wallpaper. Details about this panoramic point -

And one of the favorite places in the Budva Riviera is located below this panorama - the bay with the beach of Crvena Glavica 🏜 It is often called Plaza Galija at a summer restaurant. The place is amazing in its beauty - red rocks, emerald sea, and in the evenings - marvelous sunsets! And also next to, but in the distance, even in summer with cafes and beach equipment there are few vacationers 💦

This one is one of my favorites. At the end of May, we were alone here, not counting the builders ... The pebbles are medium in size on the Galia beach, but I still like to climb the rocks on the right and just admire the sea

6. Piva Lake Canyon

Lake Piva is one of the most beautiful places in Montenegro. Recommended to visit in the morning or afternoon sunny weather, then it will look like a blue mirror surface. This artificial lake of several branches appeared on the site of the flooded Piva River during Yugoslavia, when a dam was built. You can drive along its canyon if you are going to Scepan Polje for rafting on Tara, or by connecting with a visit to the national one. You can come to town Pluzhine, rent kayaks or motor boat, just swim on the beach, dine delicious homemade food in Ethno-village "Izlazak", you can also stay with them overnight - on.

In autumn or after rain, the canyon of Lake Piva takes on a mystical appearance.

7. Bukumir Lake in the Kuchki Mountains

There are many mountain lakes of glacial origin in Montenegro, and they are much more interesting and sparsely populated than the accessible and touristic Skadar or Black Lake. In April, I am waiting for the snow to melt on the road and go to a fairy tale - to Bukumir lake in the Kuchki mountains. In summer, the picture will not be so picturesque, although trekking will be available due to a more pleasant climate, the routes in the mountains are marked. More about Bukumir Lake and the road to it.

8. Gorlo Gorlo Sokolovo

13. Canyon of the Mrtvitsa River

If you love wildlife and hiking, then go to. Here you can arrange a small hike, without elevation changes, suitable even for children, the walk time is from 1.5 to 5 hours round trip, depending on where ... You will see old bridges, a raging mountain river, a jungle of trees and moss! You can grab a bathing suit to freshen up!

And another recommendation of what to see nearby - on the way to stop to take a picture at suspension bridge if you are with children, visit the petting zoo in Brezna, and believers will be interested in the Moraca Monastery. The list of my favorite non-touristic and most beautiful places in Montenegro does not end there, explore the country not along the highways, turn off more often and walk along the marked trails!
