How to get to Barajas airport?

The air gates are located 14 kilometers from the Spanish capital to the northeast. You can achieve them in the following ways:

Metropolitan

Line 8 follows to all terminals of the transport hub: T1-T4. From Nuevos Ministerios Station in the center of Madrid, you can reach the airport in about 15 minutes. You will have to pay 4.5-5 euros for a metro ticket, another 3 will be the collection of the transport hub itself. This method is available from 06:05 to 01:30.

Train

Electric trains connect the city center and terminal 4. A one-way trip will cost 2.6 euros, you can go to the airport between 06:02 and 23:33. Trains depart every 30 minutes. Travel time from different stations is 11-38 minutes.

Buses

Terminals T1-T3 can be reached using route 101 from the Canillejas Transport Hub stop. The fare will cost 1.5 euros. Buses run every 15 minutes, from Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 23:45, and on Sunday and holidays from 07:30 to 23:25. From the Avenida de América station, you can go to the airport by bus 200, the ticket will cost 1.5 euros, the hours are 05:00-23:30 (interval - 15 minutes).

Terminals T1-T4 can also be reached by the Línea Exprés express bus, which leaves from the Atocha-RENFE transport hub station (Central Madrid). Travel time will take about 40 minutes, the ticket is 5 euros. Express runs every 15-20 minutes during the day and 35 minutes at night, around the clock and annually.
