Vietnam's first billionaire: from noodles in Ukraine to shopping malls in Saigon.

Vinpearl in Nha Trang is the main attraction of the city, it attracts tourists like a magnet to its five-star hotels and the famous island park entertainment Vinpearl Land. The amusement park is famous not only in Nha Trang, but throughout Vietnam. What about Vietnam, the cable car from the mainland to the island was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest road passing over the sea.

Vinpearl Island in Vietnam

The island with the amusement park is located in Nha Trang Bay; this attraction is visible from anywhere in the city. The island is separated from Nha Trang by a strait whose width is just over three kilometers. The beaches on Vinpearl Island are much better (well, at least an order of magnitude better) and more beautiful than the city beaches in Nha Trang. There is no secret about this, the sand for the island beaches is brought from the city of Cam Ranh, and the landscape resembles the island from the Bounty advertisement.

The island boasts five-star hotels with their own beaches; there are simply no hotels with their own beaches in the city limits of Nha Trang. Some tourists choose island hotels precisely because of their beaches, and go to Nha Trang for shopping and entertainment. Although the island has big park Winpearl Land offers entertainment but only a limited number of overpriced shops for shopping.

In addition to five-star hotels (the hotels are really cool), the island is famous for its grand amusement park - Winpearl Land. Numerous attractions, breathtaking roller coasters and the largest water park in all of Vietnam attract thousands of tourists who live in Nha Trang to the island amusement park.

How to get to Vinpearl Amusement Park from Nha Trang

In Nha Trang, there are several easy ways to get to the island of entertainment, and they all start from the southern outskirts of Nha Trang. First, from Nha Trang, use any convenient transport to get to the funicular. Most a budget option- this is bus number 4, which runs throughout Nha Trang, and the final stop is right next to the cable car.

  • Ferry- this is the cheapest and fastest (there are huge queues for the cable car) option to get to Vinpearl from Nha Trang. Tourist ferries run every 30 minutes from 8am to 10pm. The journey from Nha Trang Pier to the island pier takes 20 minutes. One-way fare is approximately $2;
  • Speed boat- takes you to the island twice as fast, but also costs significantly more;
  • Cable car- this is the most beautiful and memorable way to the island, in addition, the cable car in Nha Trang was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest cable car running over the sea. It is especially beautiful to fly in small cabins in the evening twilight, dark sky, dark sea and you soar between the brightly illuminated Eiffel towers. But the musical accompaniment in the cable car cabins is not at all romantic, I consider this an obvious flaw.

It is not recommended to visit the amusement park on weekends, as there will be queues and a lot of Vietnamese tourists, try to arrive at the cable car as early as possible (opens at 8:00 am), this way you will have a chance to avoid all the queues and crowds.

Quite recently, one of the authors of our site visited the Vinpearl amusement park and shared with us the latest information about transport, queues and the cost of visiting.

Hotel on Vinpearl Island

The entertainment island has several five-star hotels with their own beaches. The best of them is the five-star Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort. The price per night in this hotel room is steep, but the hotel fully corresponds to the luxury segment, in return you will receive a whole set of privileges.

Namely, the hotel price includes:

  • full board;
  • the opportunity to use the cable car for free;
  • the ability to use a transfer from the island to Nha Trang and back on a private boat (at any time);
  • unlimited access to the amusement park for the entire stay at the hotel.

The amusement park is amazingly large, so be sure to pick up some paper maps of the island when you enter, or take a photo of the map information board.

Despite the presence of signs and signs (they are at every step in the park), getting lost in a huge amusement park is a trifle. I advise you to agree in advance on a meeting place in case of such a case.

Vinpearl amusement park in Nha Trang

Vinpearl is an amusement park that is famous far beyond Nha Trang; tourists leave the most vivid reviews about their holidays in Nha Trang specifically about visiting the park. That's right, the amusement park is truly amazingly full of all sorts of adventures; it will be interesting for both kids and fat-bellied uncles with long-legged aunts. Families with small children especially like the park; for them it’s a paradise.

Almost all the rides in the amusement park are free, i.e. the entrance ticket you buy allows you to use any attractions in the amusement park an unlimited number of times (the principle is the same as in Disney Lands), and there are really a lot of them. The entrance ticket price does not include food and drinks; you must have separate money for them.

What is there at Vinpearl Amusement Park:

  • aquapark;
  • aquarium;
  • amusement park;
  • slot machine park;
  • mini-circus with animals;
  • street with shops;
  • an amphitheater where evening fountain shows are held;
  • sea beach with white sand;
  • cafes and restaurants.

Water park on the territory of Vinpearl

The water park on Vinpearl is a favorite among all visitors to the island, with slides and attractions for all ages, from the Lazy River and children's pools to the crazy water attraction for adults, the Black Hole. The water park in Winperl is simply huge, but even there you can see queues for the most popular slides.

It should be remembered that when visiting a water park, many of the water park’s water slides operate on a schedule and have an hour break, but there are so many of them that you won’t even notice the hour break.

Aquapark water slides operating schedule:

  • Multi Slide: 10:00 - 18:00;
  • Kamikadze: 11:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 14:00, 5:00 - 16:00, 17:00 - 17:45;
  • Flying Boat: 10:00 - 17:45;
  • Space Hole: 10:00 - 11:00, 12:00 - 13:00, 14:00 - 15:00, 16:00 - 17:00;
  • Tsunami Slide: 10:00 - 18:00;
  • Kid's Pool: 10:00 - 17:45;
  • Wave Pool: 10:30 - 11:00, 11:30 - 12:00, 12:30 - 13:00, 13:30 - 14:00, 14:30 - 15:00, 15:30 - 16:00 , 16:30 - 17:30;
  • Rafting Slide: 14:00 - 15:00, 17:00 - 17:45;
  • Body Slide: 10:00 - 11:00, 13:00 - 14:00, 16:00 - 17:00;
  • Family Slide: 12:00 - 13:00, 15:00 - 16:00;

Black hole

The most popular water slide in the water park for adults is the Black Hole. Every visitor to Vinpearl should take a ride on this dizzying attraction; it’s scary, it’s unusual, but the sensations you’ll have after the “Black Hole” will be remembered for a long time.

The attraction has complete control over you, at all stages of its use! At the moment when your body is rushing in complete darkness to an unknown destination, and your vestibular apparatus has long ago spat on you and turned off, the thought “Why did I climb here” comes to you, but it’s too late and the water throws your body into the so-called “toilet bowl” . However, a water park worker is always on duty next to the “toilet” and catches what the “toilet” spews out.

Not all vacationers dare to jump into the “Black Hole,” especially when they see how people emerge from it, but that’s another story. Everyone should try Black Hole!

Kamikaze

Another popular one water slide at the Vinpearl water park it is the Kamikaze slide. In appearance, the slide seems simple and not scary, and besides, you are given large inflatable rings on which you are supposed to float down. But sometimes it can be difficult to stay on the inflatable rings, especially when you are at the top of the parabola.

Speed slides

The water park has several high speed slides, which are also popular with most adult water park visitors. The essence of the high-speed slides at the Vinpearl water park is simple: you climb to the very top and from there you float down in an open pipe. But the speed and emotions that you experience on these roller coasters will be remembered for a long time.

Children's pools

For children of all ages, the water park has exciting pools, which are only called pools, but in fact they are amazing play areas with fountains and artificial waves. In the Vinpearl pools, children feel very comfortable and do not want to get out of the water for a long time.

Amusement park

The first thing that greets tourists in Vinpearl is an amusement park; there are many attractions here and riding on all of them is included in the ticket price. Attractions in Vinpearl are for all ages and interests, from children's carousels, which are often ridden by hefty uncles and aunts, to real roller coasters. True, the roller coaster in Vinpearl is not the steepest, but it’s great for a change.

Like most entertainment on the territory of Vinpearl, the attractions operate on a schedule, so check the information boards for details.

Oceanarium on the territory of Vinpearl

The Oceanarium is another must-see attraction. The oceanarium is inhabited by huge fish of all colors and sizes. Observing underwater life will be interesting to everyone, from small children who look at huge fish as if they were fairy-tale characters, and even adults are amazed by the size of some fish.

If you go down, you can ride along the bottom of the aquarium on a moving walkway (like at an airport), which runs in a curved glass tube, while sharks and giant rays dart above your heads.

Don't miss the theatrical show that takes place in the aquarium every day. From 10:00 to 10:15 in the morning and from 17:00 to 17:15, the aquarium hosts feeding of fish and all sorts of sea creatures for tourists, and at 15:00 the Little Mermaid show begins.

Electric sled Vinpearl

Another attraction in Vinpearl that draws queues of people wanting to have a blast is the electric sleigh. The popularity of electric sleds is due to the ability to independently control the riding process, which, however, can lead to a collision with other participants.

The essence of the Electric Sleigh attraction is that you sit on a cart that runs along a winding track and you have a speed control lever with which you can control your position in space and speed. Everything is extremely simple and very funny.

Slot machine hall

It’s not every day that you see such a number of slot machines in one place; it’s simply impossible to play at least a minute on each of them; the only saving grace is that some of the slot machines are inoperative.

For children, the arcade will be truly interesting, and those adults who did not play enough of such devices in childhood will also play eagerly. There is a 4D cinema in the same room, which is worth a visit for a change.

For kids whose parents have fallen hopelessly into childhood, there is a play area where there is a nursery for the little ones, so the little ones can relax while their parents do all sorts of nonsense. The children are looked after by teachers and animators.

Singing fountain show

Just before closing, Vinpearl Park is preparing another surprise for all guests! Every day, at 18:45 and 19:30 in the evening, do not miss the colorful music and light show of the fountains, very beautiful.

Amusement park food

All food and drink on the territory of Vinpearl is paid, the prices are not much different from the prices of food on the mainland, but you have to choose between fast food and fast food (no matter how sad it is), but you definitely won’t die of hunger.

An important addition about food at the Vinpearl amusement park! Be sure to look at how food is stored in a cafe with a buffet system; in most cases, food is stored without any equipment that would help better preserve the food. Thus, a completely suitable and tasty meat dish that you ate in the morning is highly advisable to eat in the evening, because in the heat, meat products quickly deteriorate.

Vinpearl prices for visiting

Prices for visiting the island of entertainment depend on many factors, on how you are going to get to the island (cable car, ferry, speed boat). Much depends on the season (depending on the season, the cost of visiting an amusement park may vary), on the promotions held (all sorts of promotions are often held), on the duration of the visit (you can go to the island for three hours), on your gastronomic preferences, etc. .

Here are my expenses for visiting Vinpearl, 2015 prices for two:

  • Entrance fees - 550 thousand *2 = a little more than Lam Dong ($45);
  • Lunch, dinner - 400 thousand dong ($21);
  • Ice cream, water, chips - 90 thousand ($5);
  • Taxi from Nha Trang to the cable car - 160 thousand *2 = 320 thousand dong ($15).

The total for a day visit to the island, taking into account the price of overpriced food, came out to about $90 for two. It is worth considering if you want to have " romantic dinner"at a restaurant on the island, then it's worth adding at least another 50 bucks.

I categorically do not recommend shopping on the island, the prices are too high, the choice is poor, and it’s a waste of time; it’s better to spend it in the water park. It is worth noting that it is prohibited to bring your own food and drink onto the island (they are searched at the entrance to cable car), so in any case you can’t save on this and you’ll have to buy everything on the island.

Vinpearl (Vietnam) amusement park in Nha Trang (official video)

Vinpearl Nha Trang official website

The entertainment island of Vinpearlland (Nha Trang) has an official website www.nhatrang.vinpearlland.com, it will be useful for all independent tourists. Vinpearl (Nha Trang) official website has two languages, Vietnamese and English, but unfortunately not everything on the official website is translated into English and some important things are a mixture of English and Vietnamese.

Official site amusement park allows you to clarify the cost of entrance tickets, the exact schedule of attractions and show programs, and also tells you about the timing of various events and parades.

Vinpearl Amusement Park on the map of Nha Trang

Have a nice holiday in Nha Trang

A site observer studied the biography of Vietnamese billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, who graduated from an institute in Moscow, did business in Ukraine, and then created Vingroup, one of the largest holdings in Vietnam, successfully operating in the construction industry. The company sets goals to achieve leadership in retail sales and e-commerce, and also develops socially significant projects - schools and hospitals.

Over the past decades, Asians have regularly ranked among the world's richest people. Most are from China and Japan, but from other countries it is worth mentioning Vietnam, where Pham Nhat Vuong is considered the richest person.

The billionaire studied at a Moscow institute, did business in Ukraine, and now owns a construction conglomerate in his homeland and succeeds in transforming major cities Vietnam into analogues of modern Asian megacities.

The early years of Pham Nhat Vuong. Studying at Moscow University and creating the Technocom company

At that time, this was not uncommon - the USSR willingly attracted talent from Vietnam. Pham Nhat Vuong received a chance to leave his native country, where the prospects were very vague, and took advantage of it.

Little is known about how the entrepreneur’s successes developed while studying in Moscow. He graduated from Pham Nhat Vuong Institute in 1993, when the USSR had already collapsed and difficult times had come. However, according to Pham himself, the situation in Vietnam was much worse, and therefore he abandoned the idea of returning to his native country and, having married a fellow student from Vietnam, went to Ukraine. It is difficult to judge the motives that prompted him to leave Moscow, and researchers usually avoid them. There are versions that he never finished college, interrupting his studies.

Having moved to Ukraine, he, with the help of friends, collected $10 thousand and opened his own small Vietnamese restaurant, Thang Long Vietnam. Thanks to low prices, there were no problems with customers. Having assessed the prospects, Pham Nhat Vuong set about establishing a new business - the Technocom company, which produces Mivina instant noodles. To do this, I had to take out a loan of $100 thousand at 8% per month.

Pham Nhat Vuong was guided by a strong calculation - many of his interviews note the fact that the local population at that time was poor and hungry, and there were no instant foods on the market yet. That is why the model was actually a win-win. By the way, “Mivina” is translated from Vietnamese as “Vietnamese vermicelli”.

The released instant noodles quickly conquered the market due to the fact that it can be eaten without pre-steaming. Thus, the target audience has expanded from people who want to save money to schoolchildren and students. Information about the founding date of Technocom varies - usually sources date it back to 1993, but you can also find 1995, although based on available data, the company's first factory was already launched this year.

In less than a year, the production rate increased to a million packs per month. The success of the product is emphasized by a simple fact - in Ukraine, any instant noodles are still called “mivina”.

The high growth rate led to the launch of new product lines. In 1999, sales of the Mivina flavoring seasoning began, and a year later the instant mashed potatoes of the same name appeared. The products continued to be successful in the market, which increased the company's turnover and allowed Vuong to plan for his future.

In the mid-2000s, the company included three enterprises - a factory producing spices, seasonings and mashed potatoes, another one producing packaging material, as well as Mivina-3, where several types of noodles, potato chips, croutons and other products are produced. products. The latter is considered an innovative factory in its field, including a production complex aimed at processing meat using a special technology that eliminates the use of preservatives.

Western publications often call Pham Nhat Vuong the king of the Ukrainian fast food market. Except huge sales, the company received a large number of awards in the food industry and rightfully occupied its position. However, Pham Nhat Vuong, who has money and opportunities for further development business, did not intend to continue working in Ukraine, being more interested in investing in Vietnam.

Return to Vietnam. Creation of Vinpearl

In 2000, Pham Nhat Vuong visited his homeland, already a quite successful entrepreneur, and vacationed in the city of Nha Trang, which is now one of the most popular Vietnamese resorts. At that time, the situation was not so rosy, but, assessing the prospects, Vuong thought about developing a resort under his own leadership. He had money, and building construction in Vietnam was not too expensive.

Having assessed the prospects, Pham Nhat Vuong returned to his homeland in 2001 and began building a hotel complex. Before this, the Vinpearl company was created, with the goal of constructing hotel complexes.

The first famous building erected by Pham Nhat Vuong was the five-star hotel complex Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang, located on Hon Tre Island, not far from Nha Trang. It was opened in 2003, and 430 billion Vietnamese dong were invested in its construction.

It has 225 rooms, one presidential and one royal suite. Such a scale has made this hotel complex one of the best in Vietnam. In addition, unlike those built by foreign companies, the hotel was built by a local native, although he earned his start-up capital in another country. By the way, in 2010, Pham Nhat Vuong sold Technocom to Nestle for $150 million.

During the construction process of Vinpearl Resort, Vuong visited several hotels in Phuket, trying to get a little closer to their features and structure. Some researchers claim that one day he stopped by a hotel and used a screwdriver to remove the connecting parts of the water supply, studying the features of their connection. Why the entrepreneur needed to know this is not indicated - as well as the consequences of this research.

However, Pham Nhat Vuong did not stop only at the construction of the hotel complex, knowing full well that it would also need to be “sold” to people. For this purpose, the Vinpearl Amusement Park or Vinpearl Land, which is sometimes called the local analogue of Disneyland, was also added to the hotel complex.

In addition to various attractions, its own water park, arcade games and an aquarium, it has its own versions of McDonald's and KFC. However, according to online reviews, the establishments are still losing to their Western counterparts. The opening of the amusement park is often dated back to 2007, although according to the official version it hosted final of the Miss Vietnam competition in 2006. After the general success of the first amusement park, Pham Nhat Vuong began to actively open them in the largest regions of the country.

Pham Nhat Vuong did not limit himself only to the amusement park and began promoting the holding of high-profile events. One of the first was the Miss Vietnam competition in 2006. In addition, it has hosted singing competitions, ministerial conferences, and other beauty pageants - including Miss World 2010.

In 2007, Pham Nhat Vuong improved the hotel complex by adding the famous 3.32 km long cable car connecting Hon Tre Island and Nha Trang. Another improvement concerned the increase in the number of rooms to 485. In 2008, Vinpearl entered the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, and its shares allowed it to enter the top companies in this area of the country.

In 2011, Pham Nhat Vuong continued to develop Hon Tre: he added another hotel, Vinpearl Luxury Nha Trang, as well as a golf club to the complex. In addition, it provides clients with a private beach, sauna and other services. Business expansion in this region continues to this day, but Pham Nhat Vuong did not stop there.

If you are going to Vietnam for emotions, then add Hon Tre Island with its Vinpearl Land amusement park to your “must see” list. And to save time, stay at one of the Vinpearl hotels on the island. A nice bonus will be free access to the park at any time. And considering that the cost of the park costs about 20 dollars, and it’s not easy to get around it in the whole day, it makes sense to stay here for a few days and a bonus from the hotel will come in handy. Just make sure that the park pass is included in the tour package.

It is better to choose the time for travel between February and November, since it is at this time that it is sunny and warm. The air warms up from +25° to +30°C, and the water in the sea is clear and calm.

Review of hotels on Winperl

Hon Che Island is a tourist area where the main entertainment venues, parks, water parks, an aquarium, a zoo, etc. are concentrated. Every year there are more and more hotels on the island, and the first impression of the island is that something is constantly being built here.

Bamboo Island can be reached by the longest cable car over the sea in the world (3320 m) and within 12 minutes you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea and the island itself. On the mountainside there is the inscription “Vinpearl” - the name of the amusement park. This determined the name of the island “popularly”. Increasingly, the island is called Vinpearl or Bamboo Island rather than Hon Che.

Also, boats constantly run between the island and the mainland (departures every half hour). Some hotels provide an “All inclusive” service, and free boat travel along the route is also included among the options. The waterway is no less picturesque.

Vinpearl Golf Land Resort and Villas is a great place to take the whole family on a tour. Luxurious rooms with all amenities. If you are traveling with a small child, please notify us and they will provide you with a crib in your room.

A bowl of fruit awaits you on your arrival day, and a maid will provide fresh bottled water and sweets every evening.

There are always free sun loungers on the beach, and in general there are not many people. This is explained by the popularity of the hotel among the Chinese, and they are afraid to sunbathe, so they go to the sea either early in the morning or in the evening.

Visit Hon Tre Island as it is a true gem of Vietnam. You definitely won’t leave here without amazing impressions!

A snow-white beach with imported sand, a luxury hotel, a water park with all kinds of slides, an aquarium, a large play area where adults suddenly become children and play walking-shooting-car racing games for hours. The Vinpearl complex is located on a separate island, which is clearly visible from the city beach of Nha Trang. And you can get there by sea or along the world's longest cable car stretching over the sea. Its length is 3,320 meters!

Today is about how much does it cost to spend a day in Winperl what rules apply in the park, review of prices for additional entertainment, as well as our impressions, reviews and many photos from this place.

We heard about Vinperl long before our trip to Vietnam. This gigantic amusement park, which occupies half of Hon Tre Island (Bamboo Island near Nha Trang), is perhaps as famous as. Of course, you can fly to Nha Trang and stay in a five-star hotel in Vinpearl right on the island. A room there costs 200-300 dollars per night. This amount will include everything - food, entertainment, the staff will blow away the dust from such a dear client.

But even a mere mortal can spend a day in heaven. You can buy a one-day ticket to the island, arrive in the morning by boat or cable car and leave after sunset. This pleasure costs 450 thousand dong ($22.5) for an adult and 350 thousand for a child ($17.5). They also sell tickets that include only 1 trip - either to the island or from the island. They cost less - 380 and 300 thousand dong. You can buy such tickets if you want to use a canoe taxi to return, which costs 130 thousand per person. For clarity, all entrance ticket prices are shown in the photo below.

UPD from 08/03/2016: Entrance prices to Vinpearl have increased. 650 thousand VND ($30) costs an adult round-trip cable car ticket + entrance to Vinpearl for the whole day. A child ticket costs 580 thousand dong ($30).

The funicular is located south of Nha Trang. If you want to save money, you can use the mysterious bus number 4(well, that’s what they write on the forums). We preferred to rent a bike (100 thousand dong per day - $5). I don’t know whether we saved money or, on the contrary, overpaid, but at the exit from Vinpearl the scooter was very useful to us and helped us quickly take Arina, who was falling asleep, home. But more on that later.

In the morning we sat in the cable car and began to look at Nha Trang from above.

The cable car is located 40-70 meters above the sea. The drive is about 20 minutes. All this time there is beauty all around. Somehow I even involuntarily began to compare it with. I don’t even know where the views are cooler.

When entering the island, be sure to pick up your free Vinpearl Map. It’s better to take two so that you have a spare in case of loss or drowning in numerous pools. The amusement park is very large and it is better to plan in advance how to spend the day there. Vinpearl has several main areas: a water park, an aquarium, shops and restaurants, a swing carousel, an indoor play complex and an amphitheater with musical fountains.

The first thing we did was go to the water park. What else to do in the morning? Of course, swim in the pools and ride the slides!

We spent more than two hours in the children's area. It’s quite safe there, the water is knee-deep, Arinka in an inflatable vest was quite independent. A barrel of water that overflows as it fills especially pleased Sasha.

This children's pool from afar. You can clearly see what's there There are many slides for kids, fountains, ladders - there is something to do.

Directly opposite the children's pool is a swimming pool with artificial waves.

It’s just that it works with interruptions, like all slides. They are turned off one by one, so you can find a place to ride at any time. Just in case, here it is photo with the slides operating schedule.

In general, everything in Vinpearl is great for children. Throughout the park there are sculptures of animals that attract children. Arinka sat in the hippopotamus for about 15 minutes, and then went to conquer the elephant.

Sasha tried all the slides in the water park, some of which were quite extreme. He liked it most black slide in Body Slide. It’s also scary to drive around this hill. The screams of tourists are constantly heard near it.

The laziest people ride not on slides, but on inflatable rings along an artificial river. We tried to drive in a circle, but something didn’t catch our attention. I wanted something more active.

Territory entertainment complex Vinpearl- very green, there are many flowers and trees. Arinka even managed to find small wild mangoes. True, we didn’t dare try them.

So we passed the time until lunch and went in search of food. There are fast food restaurants in every area of Vinpearl. The menu is not very healthy, but you can still choose something suitable. Rice with chicken, spaghetti, pizza, Vietnamese noodle soup. Lunch for three with drinks cost about $10.

Arinka ordered spaghetti Bolognese. Here, I still have a photo of her finishing them. Towards evening we ate again in Winperl and my daughter ordered the same pasta, only at a different fast food place. At night she had severe diarrhea - the only time in six months of living in Vietnam she got food poisoning. And it was in the five-star entertainment center Vinpearl...

This is not to say that you don’t need to go to Vinpearl, but to the fact that Food for children, of course, needs to be chosen very carefully. In fast food restaurants in Vinpearl, dishes are not stored in refrigerators, but in regular display cases. Naturally, by the end of the day, the minced meat in Bolognese was already smelly. We should have been smarter and gone to a nearby restaurant for fresh food..

After lunch we went to the aquarium. We have visited similar aquariums in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. Oceanarium in Winperl no worse.

There are a lot of strange fish there...

...aquariums with fancy corals.

AND giant aquarium with big fish that float right above your head!

At 10:00 to 10:15 in the morning and from 17:00 to 17:15, the aquarium hosts demonstration feeding for tourists. And at 15:00 the Little Mermaid show begins.

After the aquarium we returned to the wet area and went to the famous Vinpearla beach with white sand. It is brought here on barges in bags, and mined 35 km from Nha Trang in the town of Cam Ranh (where it is located international Airport). The sand and mountains on the horizon reminded me of my favorite place in Asia - the Philippines. Does it really look like it?

There are a lot of people on the beach towards sunset. Russian speech can be heard everywhere. Arinka dug up a lot of cigarette butts in the sand. Hey, comrades, have a conscience! Sand is transported here 35 km, and you are too lazy to get to the trash can and throw away the cigarette butt?! I am sure that by the next morning, Vinpearl workers will sift through all the cigarette butts and the beach will be clean again, but why leave behind such disgusting...

On the same beach they offer active water activities. All prices are shown in the photo below. 210 thousand dong is 10 dollars.

Closer to sunset, we finally made it to the carousel. It’s great that in Vinpearl they treat adults with understanding and allow them to fall back into childhood.

Every evening there is a fountain show in Vinpearl: The water flies up to different heights to the music and is illuminated by colored lanterns. We completely forgot about the show... There were more important things to do - for a whole 2 hours! We hung out in the indoor play area. Everyone was doing their own thing: I was taking out toy hamsters from the machine, Arinka was fiddling with balls in the maze, and Sasha was throwing basketballs into the hoop. Sometimes we got together and mastered computer dances.

Very important information for parents: in the indoor play area there is a special room - the so-called kindergarten. There are children's animators on duty there, where you can leave your child (they write down your mobile number and call if something happens). There is also a children's bedroom where the baby can be put down for an afternoon nap. We found this wonderful place just before leaving, so we didn’t have to take advantage of it.

We left Vinpearl around eight in the evening. This is where the rented bike came in handy.

Total budget for our trip to Vinpearl:

Entrance fees - 450 thousand *2 = 900 thousand ($45)

Lunch, dinner - 420 thousand dong ($21)

Ice cream, water - 45 thousand ($2.25)

Bike for rent for a day 100 thousand ($5) Total - 73.25

If you plan to have dinner in a restaurant in Vinpearl, then take another 30-50 dollars with you.

If you are looking cheap flights to Vietnam, check the calendar low prices for the coming year.

P.S. Security staff will check your bags before entering the cable car.You are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into Vinpearl. They will even take away your water bottle. This does not apply to baby food. We showed the guards a box of cut fruit and some yoghurts for Arinka. They allowed me to take it with me.

Hello everyone! Vacation is a topic that we can talk about forever. Therefore, today I will share a review about the entertainment island of Vinpearl in Vietnam.

When planning my trip, the first thing I included on my list of places to visit was Vinpearl. Vietnam is not famous for a large number of varied excursions, but I really wanted to get to the park, the pearl of Nha Trang. Impressions from visiting this “wonderful” place turned out to be contradictory.

How to get to Vinpearl?
You can order a taxi, which is quite inexpensive by the way, or you can take a bus. You need to get to the final stop and run to get in line. It is more convenient to buy tickets at travel agencies. We took it in Russian information center. They are a little cheaper than at the ticket office at the entrance to the park and there is no need to crowd in line. The ticket does not include travel, only admission to the park itself.

When to come to the park?

It’s better to arrive by 7 am, or even by 6. Otherwise, there will be a huge queue. We arrived at 8 am and found ourselves in the midst of waiting. Hundreds of Chinese and dozens of Russians attacked the entrance area. We waited until we could get to the island for about an hour.

The short cable car ride is wonderful! There are gorgeous views of Nha Trang, the sea and the island itself. On the way back, an equally beautiful sight appears. It’s night, and Vinpearl sparkles with lights, the castle is beautifully illuminated and it seems like you’re leaving a fairy tale.

Upon arrival on the island, they did not know where to run. They rushed after the family, who were already here on an electric sled. Here our long wait continued. We stood in line for two hours. During this time, I managed to quickly run to the simplest carousels and return back. There were no long queues for them in the morning. But this simple standing in line is very exhausting. A few minutes of pleasure is not worth such nerves.

In addition, you cannot bring your own food and water onto the island, and we simply did not have time to go somewhere and buy it and were thirsty in line. But overall I liked the electric sled. First, you slowly climb the mountain, admiring the nature around you, and then rush down with sharp turns. There are no sharp moments, and you can slow down yourself at any time.

Attractions
I love carousels! But again we had to wait in line for about an hour and a half for the big roller coaster. The rest of the rides are great. I especially liked the one where they lift you upside down. That's where I screamed a lot! Scary but great!

There are only a couple of attractions for children. There is no point in taking children under 12-14 years old with you. Almost everywhere children are not allowed according to their height, and there is nowhere for them to ride.

Zoo
This is not the richest zoo I have visited. In Novosibirsk, for example, it is much more diverse, and the animals look healthier and more well-groomed. There are only a few species of monkeys, tigers, lions, zebras, giraffes and ostriches. Some of the animals look really exhausted and you just feel sorry for them!

I liked the bird pavilion. Beautifully designed, no harm to the birds and relative freedom. Nets are stretched over the frame, so no one can fly away, but at the same time there is fresh air and space. I couldn’t see the parrots; they like to sit at the very top. We were able to take a closer look at those who were below.

Flower greenhouses
In the pavilions with flowers I felt like I was in heaven! Perhaps one of the most interesting places in the park. There are five greenhouses in total. The first contains the simplest flowers, which are planted throughout the island. Next is a pavilion with cacti, decorated in the style of the Wild West.

Then there is an antique-style greenhouse with roses, a greenhouse with tulips and, perhaps the most delightful one, with orchids. Each greenhouse has some kind of feature: gazebos, artificial waterfalls, paths, a figure of flowers, a fountain or statues.

Aquapark
There are few slides, everyone works according to their own schedule. I saw how disappointed people came up and couldn’t ride. I didn’t have time to relax in the water park. I walked around the area and turned onto the beach.

Beach

The beach on the island is wonderful! Lots of sun loungers, and most importantly, no waves at all. We are tired of them on the beaches of Nha Trang. But, unfortunately, we didn’t have time to swim. I walked along the water and soft sand.

Oceanarium

Like the zoo, the aquarium was not at all impressive. Small, no variety of fish. Quite boring.

Closer to seven in the evening, people began to gather on the benches where the Fountain Show was taking place. First there was a performance with a Chinese dragon, and then the fountains were turned on. The spectacle is fascinating! Very beautiful. Various music, famous classical and Russian songs. I would like to see the “dance of the fountains” accompanied by some local Vietnamese music. It’s so colorful, it’s worth seeing with your own eyes!

Food in the park

This is not the biggest, but still a disappointment of this island. There is no place to eat normal food. Water and drinks are not allowed into Vinpearl. At the same time, all the cafes here are fast food. You can buy a sausage in a shop, or stand in a huge line at Lotteria, the local McDuck. We again lost a lot of time standing for a burger, of which there were only two types left. There is space, why not create more cafes with edible food? It’s easier to eat something for breakfast and not eat at all on the island.

I left the fountain show a little earlier, but the queue for the cable car was again huge. I made it in time and stood for about forty minutes, then a huge line of tourists lined up again. I took a taxi home; there were a lot of cars parked at the entrance.

Results. The impressions are contradictory. I really liked the island and its idea with all kinds of entertainment that you can imagine: a water park, carousels, fountain shows, dolphins, a zoo, greenhouses with flowers, slot machines. There is a very beautiful area and a wonderful beach with a sea without waves. But the terrible queues did not allow us to relax and feel the joy of this place. A few hours of waiting spoiled my mood a little and I’m not sure if I want to go there again. But if you have never been to Vinpearl and are going on vacation to Nha Trang, it’s worth a visit.

Thanks to everyone who read the review to the end!
