And there is also an unusual island where all the elements perfect holiday are in the same place.

We invite you to take an exciting journey to the breathtaking and completely unique amusement park Vinpearl (Vinpearl)!

Cool place for adults and kids

Vinpearl Island in Vietnam is known far beyond the borders of the country. And all thanks to the grandiose amusement park built on its territory.

Experienced tourists and residents of the city say this: if you were in Vietnam and did not visit this place, then you missed the most interesting.

Clean well-groomed area is surrounded by tropical greenery. It is curious to just walk here, looking at fountains, waterfalls and pools with beautiful fish along the way.

Some compare Vinpearl Park with Disneyland, others believe that it is even cooler. You can argue about this as much as you like, but that you want to come back here again is a fact.

What awaits tourists on the island:

  • aquapark;
  • dolphinarium;
  • extensive area of attractions;
  • slot machine pavilion and 4D cinema;
  • dancing fountains;
  • souvenir shops;
  • cafes and restaurants;
  • hotel.

All you need is to buy an entrance ticket to the park. And that's it. You don't have to pay for anything else, have fun and have fun! It is worth taking a certain amount of money with you in case you decide to have a bite to eat or buy souvenirs.

By the way, tourists who have settled in the Vinpearl Hotel can spend at least the whole day in the dolphinarium, on the slides in the water park or on the rides - they do not need an entrance ticket.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to Winpearl Amusement Park in Vietnam. For example, by sea by boat or speedboat.

But if you are ready to get the most out of it, take a ride on the cable car that connects Nyan Trang with the island.

Firstly, this is the longest cable car on the planet (length is over 3 km), and then from above there are beautiful views of the sea, ships, the city and its surroundings. It's not to be missed!

You can’t cover everything in one day, but you can in two days. It is better to dedicate the first to water entertainment, and the second to slot machines, attractions and a delightful fountain show.

And if you come on Friday or Saturday, you will be able to see a colorful carnival. The spectacle starts at 15:15: an interesting production, incendiary music, unusual, fantasy outfits - it's worth watching.

When entering the park, do not forget to take a paper map, it will help you better navigate the territory.

What to see

A high-quality, exciting show of dolphins and fur seals wins the hearts of adults, and little travelers just jump for joy. To prolong the pleasure of contemplating wildlife, you should go to Oceanarium "Underwater World" Vinpearl.

First you will see snakes, spiders, turtles and a large orange dragon-faced lizard. And then you will find yourself in a magical world where many tropical fish of all colors of the rainbow live. But the most fantastic begins at the bottom, when you find yourself at the bottom of a transparent tunnel, and large and small marine life swim around. You can also see the embryos of sharks at different stages of development.

Many people think that the Vinpearl Aquarium is much more interesting than similar establishments in Nha Trang and Pattaya, but someone does not agree with this statement.

Water activities

Vinpearl water park– a real expanse for lovers of pools and water slides. Each attraction has its own opening hours, so it doesn’t hurt to get acquainted with the visiting schedule (at the stand in front of the entrance to the water park).

The slides here are for every taste: gentle and steep, long and compact, scary and very scary with a rapid descent in a long pipe. And children love to splash in the pools with gentle artificial waves.

After a few hours of this active rest you will definitely want to soak up the sun, since there is a small but cozy beach with white sand on the territory of Vinpearl Park in Vietnam. You can sit on a sunbed or under an umbrella, or you can swim.

By the end of this busy program, you realize that it would be nice to have a bite to eat. There are no problems with this either, just find the nearest cafe on the map. Dinner for two will cost about 140,000 VND (about $5). And after refreshing, you can stroll along the street with shops and souvenir shops.

Ride Conquest

Winpearl Amusement Park offers so many attractions that it would take a long time to list them.

The most famous are chains, swing boats and roller coasters. What you should definitely try is to go down from a height of 1 km on a mountain sled. Feelings are unforgettable!

Show

A bright carnival is far from the only action that Winpearl Park offers its guests. Here every now and then there are performances of mermaids, clowns, monkeys, etc.

But the most impressive event is the fountain show, which is held every evening (at 19:00 and 20:00) and attracts hundreds of spectators. This is a real extravaganza of fire, water and light, a magical sight that cannot be described and conveyed in words. A simple camera is not enough to get unforgettable shots, you need a good camera.

When tired, but happy and childishly happy tourists head home by cable car, another miracle awaits them. Glow in the dark cable car supports turn into a long line of Eiffel Towers. The fairy tale donated by the Vinpearl amusement park continues!

For vacationers at the hotel, access to the cable car, boat, ferry is unlimited and included in the price. It is possible to book and pay for rooms with the inclusion in the price of unlimited access to the Winpearl amusement park.

A snow-white beach with imported sand, a luxury hotel, a water park with all kinds of slides, an oceanarium, a large play area where adults suddenly become children and play walkers-shooters-car races for hours. The complex "Vinperl" is located on a separate island, which is clearly visible from the city beach of Nha Trang. And you can get there by sea or on the longest cable car in the world, stretched over the sea. Its length is 3320 meters!

Today is about how much does it cost to spend a day in Vinperl what rules apply in the park, overview of prices for additional entertainment, as well as our impressions, reviews and many photos from this place.

We heard about Vinperl long before our trip to Vietnam. This giant amusement park, which occupies half of the island of Hon Che (Bamboo Island near Nha Trang), is perhaps as famous as. Of course, you can fly to Nha Trang and live in a five-star hotel in Vinpearl right on the island. A room there costs 200-300 dollars per night. This amount will include everything - food, entertainment, staff will blow dust off such a dear client.

But even a mere mortal can spend a day in paradise. You can buy a one-day ticket to the island, arrive in the morning by boat or funicular and leave after sunset. Such pleasure costs 450,000 dong ($22.5) for an adult and 350 per child ($17.5). Tickets are also sold, including only 1 trip - either to the island or from the island. They are cheaper - 380 and 300 thousand dongs. Such tickets can be bought if you want to use a canoe taxi to return, which costs 130 thousand per person. All ticket prices for clarity - in the photo below.

UPD from 08/03/2016: Entry prices to Winpearl have risen. 650,000 VND ($30) is an adult round-trip ticket for the cable car + entrance to Vinpearl for the whole day. A child ticket costs 580,000 VND ($30).

The funicular is located south of Nha Trang. If you want to save money, you can take the mysterious bus number 4(well, that's how they write on the forums). We preferred to rent a bike (100,000 VND per day - $5). I don’t know if we saved money or, on the contrary, overpaid, but at the exit from Winperl the scooter was very useful to us and helped us quickly take Arina falling asleep home. But more about that later.

In the morning we sat in the cable car and began to view Nha Trang from above.

The cableway is located 40-70 meters above the sea. To go about 20 minutes. All this time around - beauty. Somehow I even involuntarily began to compare with. I don’t even know where the views are cooler.

When entering the island, do not forget to take a free map of Winperl. Better yet, take two so that there is a spare in case of loss or drowning in numerous pools. The amusement park is very large and it is better to plan in advance how to spend the day there. There are several main areas in Vinperl: a water park, an aquarium, shops, restaurants, swings, a carousel, an indoor playground and an amphitheater with musical fountains.

We first went to the water park. What else to do in the morning? Of course, swim in the pools and ride the slides!

We spent more than two hours in the children's area. It is quite safe there, the water is knee-deep, Arinka in an inflatable vest was quite independent. The barrel of water, which overflows as it fills, especially pleased Sasha.

Here is the children's pool from afar. It is clear that there many slides for kids, fountains, ladders - there is something to do.

Directly opposite the children's pool is a pool with artificial waves.

It just works with breaks, like all slides. They are turned off one by one, so that at any time you can find where to ride. Just in case, here photo with the schedule of slides.

In Vinperl, in general, everything is great for children. Throughout the park there are sculptures of animals that attract kids to themselves. Arinka sat in a hippopotamus for 15 minutes, and then went to conquer the elephant.

Sasha has tried all the slides in the water park, some of which are quite extreme. He liked best black slide in Body Slide. It's still scary to ride in a circle on this hill. Near it, the cries of tourists are constantly heard.

The laziest ride not on slides, but on inflatable circles on an artificial river. We tried to drive a circle, but something did not catch on. I wanted something more active.

Territory entertainment complex Winperl- very green, there are many flowers and trees. Arinka even managed to find small wild mangoes. However, we did not dare to try them.

So they passed the time until lunch and went in search of food. There are fast food restaurants in every area of Winperl. The menu is not very healthy, but you can still choose something suitable. Rice with chicken, spaghetti, pizza, Vietnamese noodle soup. Dinner for three with drinks cost about $10.

Arinka ordered spaghetti "Bolognese". Here, I still have a photo of how she finishes them. Toward evening we ate again in Vinperl and my daughter ordered the same pasta, only in a different fast food. At night, she had severe diarrhea - the only time in her six months of life in Vietnam she was poisoned by food. And it was in a five-star entertainment center Winperl…

This is not to the fact that you do not need to go to Winperl, but to the fact that food for children, of course, must be chosen very carefully. In fast food restaurants in Vinperl, dishes are stored not in refrigerators, but in ordinary showcases. Naturally, by the end of the day, the minced meat in the Bolognese was already stale. We should have been smarter and went to a nearby restaurant for fresh food..

After lunch we went to the aquarium. We have been to similar aquariums in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. Oceanarium in Winperl nothing worse.

There are many strange fish ...

... aquariums with bizarre corals.

AND giant aquarium with big fish that float right above your head!

At 10:00 to 10:15 in the morning and from 17:00 to 17:15, demonstration feeding for tourists is organized in the aquarium. And at 15:00 the little mermaid show starts.

After the aquarium, we returned to the wet area and went to the famous Vinperla beach with white sand. It is brought here on barges in bags, and mined 35 km from Nha Trang in the town of Cam Ranh (where international Airport). The sand and mountains on the horizon reminded me of my favorite place in Asia - Filipino. Really, it looks like?

There are a lot of people on the beach closer to sunset. Russian is heard everywhere. Arinka dug up many cigarette butts in the sand. Hey, comrades, have a conscience! Sand is brought here for 35 km, and you are too lazy to reach the urn and throw away the cigarette butt?! I am sure that by the next morning the Winperl workers will have sifted all the cigarette butts and the beach will be clean again But why leave behind such disgusting ...

On the same beach they offer active water activities. All prices are shown in the photo below. 210 thousand dong is 10 dollars.

Closer to sunset, we finally got to the carousels. It's great that in Winperl they treat adults with understanding and allow them to fall into childhood.

Every evening in Vinperl they arrange a fountain show: the water rises to different heights to the music and is illuminated by colored lanterns. We completely forgot about the show ... There were more important things to do - for the whole 2 hours! We hung out in the indoor play area. Everyone was doing their own thing: I took out toy hamsters from the machine, Arinka fiddled with balls in the maze, and Sasha threw basketballs into the hoop. Sometimes we got together and mastered computer dances.

Very important information for parents: indoor play area a special room - the so-called kindergarten. Children's animators are on duty there, where you can leave your child (they write down your mobile number and call if something happens). There is also a children's bedroom where the baby can be laid down for a daytime nap. We found this wonderful place just before we left, so we didn't have to use it.

We were leaving Vinpearl already at about eight in the evening. This is where a bike rented came in handy.

Total the budget of our trip to Vinpearl:

Entrance tickets - 450 thousand * 2 = 900 thousand ($45)

Lunch, dinner - 420 thousand VND ($21)

Ice cream, water - 45 thousand ($ 2.25)

Bike for rent per day 100 thousand ($5) Total - 73.25

If you are planning to have dinner in Vinperl in a restaurant, then take another 30-50 dollars with you.

You may also find my review post about . There is a lot of detail about how to save money and arrange self-guided tours.

If you are looking for cheap flights to Vietnam, check the calendar low prices for the coming year.

P.S. Security guards will check your bags before entering the cable car.You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks into Winpearl. Even your water bottle will be taken away. This does not apply to baby food. We showed the guards a box of chopped fruit and some yoghurts for Arinka. They let me take it with them.

One fine morning in October last year, Dong Khoi Street, the main commercial artery of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), was closed for almost two hours to celebrate the opening of the Vincom Center A shopping mall. This event attracted attention, since most projects were frozen after the market crash Vietnam Real Estate in 2011: Vincom Center A impressed with its grandeur (410,000 square feet of commercial space, three floors of underground parking, a five-star hotel with 300 rooms) or glamorous tenants (Versace, Hermès, Dior). However, Pham Nhat Vuong, the man responsible for the $500 million commercial triumph, did not drink champagne, cut red ribbons, or give speeches. Instead, the 44-year-old billionaire quietly watched the ceremony from a front-row seat. “I prefer to enjoy happiness alone,” Vuong explains.

The surname Pham means "prosperity", and the businessman is often referred to as the Vietnamese Donald Trump. Today, Vuong is the first billionaire in the history of Vietnam - Forbes estimates his fortune at $ 1.5 billion, based on a 53% stake in Vingroup, one of the five most valuable companies on the Vietnam Stock Exchange.

Vuong was born in Hanoi in 1968, which is symbolic, because the Tet Offensive took place at the same time, which became a turning point in the Vietnam War. His father served in the North Vietnamese air defense forces, and his mother sold tea on the street. Although the communist North won the war and unified the country, it lost the economic battle. The country's finances were in ruins, and the country's leaders decided to bet on five-year development plans following the example of the Soviet Union, which had a negative impact on the economy. At some point, the family lived solely on the modest earnings of the mother. “My dreams at the time were very simple,” Vyong recalls. “I just wanted to help my family.”

Books helped Vyong overcome circumstances. He excelled in mathematics and received a scholarship to study raw materials economics at the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute, graduating in 1993. The collapse of the Soviet Union led to chaos, rampant crime and the emergence of new opportunities in the economy. And Vuong's native Vietnam at that time was experimenting with Doi Moi (renovation policy) - market reforms under the existing structure of the socialist state.

After marrying an institute girlfriend, Vyong decided not to return to his homeland and went to one of the former Soviet republics - Ukraine. Here, a married couple, who barely raised $10,000 from relatives and friends, opened a Vietnamese restaurant. Then the businessman began producing instant noodles, not being afraid to borrow money to expand production at 8% per month. “Ukrainians were very poor and very hungry,” Vyong recalls. The businessman managed to conquer the Ukrainian market: his brand "Mivina" became a household name for instant vermicelli. In 2010, Vyong sold his $100 million company, Technocom, to the Swiss concern Nestle for an estimated $150 million.

All this time, Vuong invested most of the profits from the sale of noodles in his native Vietnam. In 2000, the businessman went on vacation to the resort city of Nha Trang and decided to take on a small project. Why, for example, not turn an undeveloped island off the mainland into a fashionable resort? The result is a luxurious 225-room Vinpearl Resort.

The country's economy was on the rise: Vietnam avoided the effects of the 1997 Asian financial crisis and normalized economic relations with the United States. Between 2000 and 2006, Vietnam's GDP grew - albeit from a small base - at least 6% annually.

Vyong's next project was the Vincom Center Ba Trieu shopping complex in Hanoi. Then the businessman expanded the Vinpearl recreational area by building a cable car that connected the island to the mainland, and began building luxury residential complexes in Hanoi.

As Vyong's wealth grew, so did his reputation. Although he has some of the trappings of a billionaire—a splendid estate, a Bentley, and his own charitable organization—by and large, he lives modestly, preferring martial arts films over swanky parties at his own resort. At the same time, he, like any businessman who has made a fortune in Eastern Europe, is surrounded by stories of dark connections and dirty money. "If rumors are to be believed, Last year I have died at least four times,” Vuong says with a shrug. - The first story: Moscow killers flew in and shot me. The second story: I flew to Moscow and the Russian mafia killed me. The third story: I was shot dead in Ukraine. But last year I never even visited Russia or Ukraine! And the most recent story: I died of cancer. I'm fine, but people say I died of cancer. You know what they say: the dog barks, but the caravan moves on. I'm only interested in my projects."

Ignoring the spiteful critics, Vuong is building new office towers, shopping malls and housing at breakneck speed. Vingroup's portfolio now includes 31 projects: 12 have already been completed, 3 are under construction, and the rest are at the planning stage. “They do the biggest projects in the country. Most investors have suspended projects during the crisis, but not Vingroup,” marvels Mark Townsend, managing director of CBRE Vietnam.

In 2012, despite the crisis in the real estate market, Vingroup managed to raise $1.7 billion in sales and pre-sales. The result allowed the company to issue $300 million worth of bonds to international investors, although the underwriter for Credit Suisse was initially skeptical about Vingroup's performance. “They hired lawyers and auditors to check,” recalls Le Thi Thu Thuy, a former Lehman Brothers investment banker and now CEO of Vingroup. “We provided them with bank statements and contacts of our clients.”

Now Vuong, as he himself says, is in the process of raising funds from “strategic investors”, and the key goal for the future is to list the company on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and if this happens, then Vingroup will become the first Vietnamese company whose shares are traded abroad. Vuong understands that such achievements will be his legacy in a rising capitalist country. He dreams of transforming Hanoi and Saigon into cities like Hong Kong or Singapore. “If I do this, I will be happy,” says Vuong. “I want to leave something behind, because after death you don’t need money.”
