Where is the hot spring city? "My city

13.01.2024

I have always associated the resorts of the Krasnodar region exclusively with summer holidays at sea. However, having visited this region, I was surprised to learn that you can have a good rest, and at the same time improve your health, here at any time of the year. A little break away from civilization, but if necessary, to be able to quickly return to it, be alone with yourself, enjoy nature - all this attracted me to Goryachiy Klyuch, located just 65 km from Krasnodar and 117 km from.

The healing properties of the local warm water, the temperature of which does not fall below 62 degrees, were appreciated by the indigenous inhabitants - the ancient Adyghe people. The Russians, having come to their place, founded one of the first resorts in the Caucasus. I admit honestly: after visiting Goryachy Klyuch, my opinion about health-improving holidays has changed a lot. Mineral springs and uniform physical activity are definitely to blame.

How to get there

Goryachy Klyuch is a very small town, so you can get here directly only on passing trains from Moscow and St. Petersburg. For those who want to save time, the most convenient and fastest way to get there is from the regional capital, Krasnodar.

By plane

To Krasnodar

The journey by air from St. Petersburg will take about 3 hours; large airlines such as Rossiya or UTair fly here. There are, of course, many more options from Moscow, and the journey takes less time, on average 2 hours 20 minutes.

Those wishing to spend their summer vacation in the Krasnodar Territory should not delay purchasing tickets: they sell out quickly, and prices can soar up to 20,000 rubles for a round-trip ticket. You can search for great deals in advance on the Internet (for example,).

You can read about other ways to get to Krasnodar.

Below I will tell you how to get to Goryachiy Klyuch if you are already in Krasnodar.

By train

There are two types of electric trains from Krasnodar from the Krasnodar-1 station (Privokzalnaya Square, 1) to Goryachiy Klyuch. The first is the high-speed “Lastochka” for a little over 200 rubles and will get you to the station we need in just 54 minutes. The second - an ordinary train, making stops everywhere, will cover the same path in about 1 hour 20 minutes and 170 rubles. I tried both options: the difference in price is insignificant, but the difference in comfort is already noticeable. When planning your route, it is worth considering that you can find trains on the schedule only in the morning and in the afternoon; there are no daytime train services.

You can also try to buy a ticket for a passing train to Adler. There are only 2 trains from St. Petersburg, you will have to spend from 32 to 39 hours on the road, and such a road adventure will cost from 4.5 thousand for a seat in a reserved seat and from 6.5 for a compartment one way. From Moscow you can already find 7 trains, the most optimal of which is the double-decker Moscow-Adler express, which promises to deliver you to your destination in 19 hours for 5.5 thousand per compartment.

How to get there from the station

The station in Goryachiy Klyuch (Vokzalnaya Square 1) is not in the city center, so upon arrival you need to transfer to bus No. 3, the route of which ends at the sanatoriums. Travel time will be only 15-20 minutes.

By bus

The bus from Krasnodar (Privokzalnaya Square, 5) to Goryachiy Klyuch is a good alternative to trains: it runs every hour, including during the day, and costs less (about 140 rubles). True, the journey in this case stretches to 1 hour 40 minutes. On the way, you can admire an excellent view of the dam of the Krasnodar reservoir and cross the border twice - the route runs through the Republic of Adygea and returns to.

The bus passes through the city center, so I advise you to get off there and not go to the final bus station (Yaroslavsky St., 138), otherwise you will have to return. For the return trip, you should allow at least half an hour for the road from the sanatoriums to the bus station; you can get there by buses No. 1 and No. 2.

By car

The M-4 Don highway leads to Goryachiy Klyuch. On average, it will take 1 hour of driving to get here from Krasnodar.

It is worth planning at least a day for the road from St. Petersburg to Goryachiy Klyuch, 2100 km. Along the way you can see Rostov-on-Don.

The distance from Moscow of 1400 km can be covered in 15 hours, without taking into account traffic jams, of course.

When is the season? When is the best time to go

Traditionally, the high season at resorts is summer. At this time, vacationers can try local varieties of cherries, plums and apples that grow directly on street trees, as well as treat themselves to Goryochechevsky-produced wine.

But at other times of the year, sanatoriums and park routes are not empty: weekend tours to Goryachy Klyuch are very popular in Krasnodar.

Hot Key in summer

Most vacationers come here in the summer months, when the air warms up to +30°C. The sanatoriums are crowded, many come with families, so it is better to plan your trip in advance. The Black Sea is only about 100 km from here, so this is an excellent opportunity to combine wellness and active recreation.

Hot Key in autumn

The heat accumulated over the summer stays in Goryachiy Klyuch until the beginning of November. And even in the last autumn month it rarely drops below +5°C. At this time, the bulk of tourists will have already gone home, so the holiday will become more relaxing. At these temperatures, it will still be comfortable to walk in the parks, and the autumn colors will add a special impression to them.

Hot Key in spring

Spring comes to Goryachy Klyuch quite early; in April the temperature reaches +16°C, and in May it is consistently above +20°C. If you do not suffer from allergies to blooms, then there is no better time to travel here.

Hot Key in winter

Although the southern winter is quite mild, you need to be prepared for seriously sub-zero temperatures, reaching down to –15°C. However, even in such cold weather, life at the resort does not stop. It seems to me that lately there are more and more off-season connoisseurs like me who want to relax without turmoil and stress.

In addition, snow covers give the surrounding landscapes a special charm and charm.

Districts. Where is the best place to live?

In Goryachiy Klyuch you can count as many as 10 administrative districts with intricate names such as Fork or Avtokolonny. Let's look at two of them.

Resort area

This is where tourists will find the most places to stay overnight. Here is the Healing Park, the bulk of restaurants and cafes, and also the beginning of the central Lenin Street, along which almost all public transport runs.

Neftchinikov District

It borders with Kurortny and is located on both sides of Lenin Street. There are an order of magnitude fewer establishments, but the town is quite small, so it’s unlikely that a short walk to a park or restaurant will be a serious problem. Prices in hotels are almost identical, so you can safely choose accommodation from all the options offered.

I will tell you more about prices and types of housing below.

What are the prices for holidays?

  • Housing. Quite recently, the first hostel opened in the city; you can spend the night there for only 500 rubles. The average price range for guest houses and apartments is 1000-1500 rubles. Accommodation in sanatoriums will cost from 2500 to 5000 rubles per night, often this amount includes full board. You can compare room prices, for example, and conveniently book a suitable option at.
  • Food. Prices in cafes and restaurants are quite high and justify their special resort location.
  • Excursions. If everyone can visit the sights of the city itself, then for trips around the surrounding area it is better to contact one of the travel agencies or private guides. Hiking to caves and waterfalls through local forests is worth going in the company of a knowledgeable person, waterproof clothing and shoes.

Main attractions. What to see

The main wealth of Goryachiy Klyuch is not man-made monuments, but natural ones. Therefore, first of all, lovers of long walks should come here; I especially recommend the health path routes in the Healing Park. They were specially developed for medicinal purposes, so I am sure that everyone will be able to undergo them.

By the way, entrance to the park is absolutely free, even for those who are not sanatorium patients.

Top 4

Beaches. Which ones are better

You can cool off on a hot day without leaving Goryachy Klyuch. In the center near Lake Krugloye there is a city beach with clean sand. True, there is no special entertainment provided here. The water itself is quite clean and warm, which is not surprising: springs lead to the lake.

I have repeatedly observed how locals fearlessly swim in Psekups opposite the Cockerel rock. Only trained and experienced swimmers can try to repeat their feats: the cold water of a mountain river quickly cramps the muscles, the bottom is rocky, and the current is unexpectedly fast.

Nearby, almost under the Bridge of Hope, you can plunge into a natural hydrogen sulfide bath without risking your life. Just what you need after a busy day of walking - instantly relaxes!

Churches and temples. Which ones are worth visiting?

At the moment, in Goryachiy Klyuch there are only two Orthodox churches (Theodorovsky Church was consecrated quite recently, in May 2017) and several chapels. In addition, there are churches of Adventist Christians, Baptists and Jehovah's Witnesses.

In my opinion, two religious buildings are of interest.

The temple was built through voluntary donations and consecrated back in 2009, along with the installation of the central dome and bell tower. However, the interior finishing work has not been completed, which does not interfere with regular services and the work of the Sunday school.

Chapel of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God

It is located on the territory of the Healing Park, which we have already visited. Local residents have noticed this place since those distant times when a spring with mineral water flowed here. Alas and ah, nature itself did not spare the source, but a reminder of its healing properties continues to live in this chapel, which is still operational to this day.

Museums. Which ones are worth visiting?

Relatively recently, in 2000, the first museum appeared in the city - Urban Historical(Lenin St., 34). A small exhibition will tell you both about the archaeological past and the Kuban present. In addition, exhibitions are often held here, delving even deeper into the history of the region. And if you come to the resort at the end of May, don’t forget about the museum night. Yes, it is held here too!

I always note how reverently and tenderly museum workers in the provinces treat their place of work. Do not regret 100 rubles for the excursion and be completely imbued with the spirit of the place in which you happened to relax.

Parks

In addition to the Healing Park, it will be pleasant to walk along the pedestrian Alley of a Thousand Pines, stretching for almost 2 km in front of the sanatoriums. Exactly in the middle, grateful Hot Klyuchev residents opened a memorial dedicated to the city defenders who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Tourist streets

Only Lenin Street can be called touristic, where you can find hotels, restaurants, and the only museum in the city.

What to see in 1 day

Half a day is enough for even leisurely sightseeing in Goryachy Klyuch.

To properly experience the atmosphere of a provincial resort, I would suggest the following approximate route:

  • 10:00 - arrival in Goryachiy Klyuch.
  • 10:30 - visit to the City Historical Museum.
  • 12:00 - a walk along the Avenue of a Thousand Pines.
  • 12:30 - water tasting in the Drinking Gallery.
  • 13:00 - walk through the Healing Park
  • 15:00 - dinner
  • 17:00 -departure

What to see in the area

When walks in the park have lost some of their novelty, you can go to Phanagorian cave and Ayuk waterfalls, located 12 km from the village of Fanagoriyskoye. The cave goes 1.5 km deep and is refreshing in the summer months with stable low temperatures.

Bus No. 119 goes to Fanagoriyskoye from Goryachiy Klyuch, then you will have to hire a car or pedal a bicycle. In recent years, the gravel road leading to the cave has become not very comfortable for traveling by car.

Food. What to try

Local establishments are entirely aimed at the wallets and stomachs of vacationers. Therefore, it is not surprising that they are all grouped around or inside sanatoriums and hotels and along Lenin Street. Basically, city guests have a choice between Italian and Caucasian cuisine.

Shopping and shops

Shopping lovers will have nowhere to turn around in Goryachy Klyuch. However, there is a fairly large shopping center "Rio Plaza"(Lenin St., 185B), where you can buy the essentials.

Bars. Where to go

There are no bars in their classical sense in Goryachy Klyuch, only cafes and restaurants, but the city brews delicious beer using local water. You can try it in several establishments by crossing the bridge over Psekups.

  • "Old lock"
  • "Royal kebabs"
  • Cafe "At the Happy Bridge"

Souvenirs. What to bring as a gift

For a long time now I have been trying not to bring classic souvenirs like magnets and mugs from trips (however, lovers of such things can easily find them in one of the shops near sanatoriums). I'm much more interested in local products. From here it would be best to bring the famous water from the springs - either collected yourself in the Drinking Gallery, or bottled at the Goryacheklyuchevsky mineral water plant. A useful gift will cost about 15 rubles per 0.5 liter.

How to get around the city

Within the resort area, transport is absolutely not needed; it is more convenient and easier to walk. If you need to go to train stations or a shopping center, use a bus or taxi. You can read more about how public transport operates in Goryachy Klyuch below.

Taxi. What features exist

Traveling by taxi around the city will cost very little money; you can choose among several services, for example, “Daria’s”, “Autotour”, “Resort”.

In addition, local taxi drivers can be used to reach neighboring cities.

Buses

The main mode of transport in Goryachiy Klyuch is the bus. All routes start from sanatoriums, so getting to any place in the city is not difficult. The movement starts around 7 am and ends at 10 pm. Bus number 3, which can take you to the station, has a daily lunch break for drivers from 14:30 to 15:35.

Goryachy Klyuch - holidays with children

The only alternative to walks in the park that I found in the vicinity of Goryachiy Klyuch was the agro-tour complex “World of Exotics” (Pyatigorskaya village, turn to Mirny village, 2 along the Don highway). Children will see African ostriches and camels, feed goats and donkeys and ride a pony. It is better for young naturalists to take care of apples and buns for feeding animals in advance.

Located on the Psekups River, 45 km from the capital of the region. Until the mid-19th century, the village of Psyfab existed in these places, the name of which, translated from the Adyghe language, means “hot water”. At the same time, hostilities in Russia lead to the resettlement of the local population.

In 1864, a park, a bathhouse, and a military hospital were opened on the territory of Goryachiy Klyuch. At the beginning of the 20th century, the place was called Alekseevsky Goryachiy Klyuch. In 1930, the settlement received the status of a resort village.

From 1924-63 the city had the status of the center of the Goryacheklyuchevsky district. From 1942 to 1943, the settlement was under occupation by German troops.

In November 1965, the village became a city, and 10 years later a city of regional subordination. In Goryachy Klyuch there is a famous resort, mineral water factories, oil enterprises, and a furniture factory.

Telephone code of Goryachiy Klyuch is 86159. Postal code is 353290.

Climate and weather

In Goryachy Klyuch, a temperate continental climate with a transition to a subtropical climate prevails. Winter here is mild and short. Summer is warm and long.

The warmest month is July - average temperature is 23 degrees, the coldest month is January - average temperature is 1.7 degrees.

Public transport is represented by several bus routes and minibuses.

Hot Spring is one of those mysterious places on the planet where people come to heal not only their bodies, but also their souls, which is facilitated by the hydrogen sulfide springs located here. Archaeological excavations indicate that these sources have been known to people for centuries. The tribes who lived here built special pools or simply dug holes in which the “magic” water was supposed to collect.

No one knows how and when healing springs appeared in these places. Local residents tell a beautiful legend about a prince who lived in these places many years ago. He had a daughter, whose hand and heart many neighboring rulers sought. But the proud beauty did not reciprocate anyone. One of the failed suitors decided to take revenge on the princess and persuaded some sorcerer to help him. One day the princess was swimming in a pond and saw a beautiful swan swimming nearby. Swimming up to the bird, the girl touched him, after which her skin became covered with ulcers, from which not a single doctor could save the princess. God heard the prayers of the old prince-father and imprisoned the sorcerer in a dungeon, forcing him there to boil water over a sulfur fire. Wonderful water from underground was supposed to come to the surface. The princess received healing from this water. And the sorcerer is still serving his sentence underground.

Russians first became aware of the healing properties of the springs in 1829. Lieutenant Novitsky was on duty in the Psekups valley. Here he discovered “magic” water, which local residents have used since time immemorial. In 1864, not far from the springs, a primitively equipped clinic and a military hospital were built. The hospital had a bathhouse with a communal pool. In the summer of 1864, the first batch of patients, suffering mainly from colds and skin diseases, began a course of treatment. July 15, 1864, the first day of operation of the hospital, is considered to be the day of the founding of Goryachy Klyuch.

A few years later, the hospital increased significantly in size. The hospital was able to simultaneously accommodate 200 people, and 2 more baths were built. However, the sources were in a very neglected state. The flow of water coming out of the ground was not regulated in any way by the resort management. This led to the fact that the springs gradually began to turn the once beautiful valley into a rotting swamp. The hospital became less and less suitable for receiving patients.

The improvement of the hospital in those years came down mainly to making the flow of water into the bathhouse more convenient and faster. Engineer A. Conradi, for example, connected several sources located close to each other with a special trench. This greatly increased the flow of water, and the trench was named the Conradi Gallery. In the mid-80s of the last century, a bathroom building was built, which contained 15 separate cabins and a cooling pool for hydrogen sulfide water. A special trench for discharging waste water from the resort into the general sewer system appeared not so long ago.

It should be noted that until the middle of the 19th century, on the site of Goryachiy Klyuch there was an Adyghe settlement Psyfab, which in Adyghe means “hot water”. When the Russian authorities decided to build a hospital, the indigenous population was immediately evicted to the Ottoman Empire. In 1868, the town of Goryachiy Klyuch appeared (from 1906 to 1920, the full name of the town sounded like Alekseevsky Goryachy Klyuch). It was a small settlement that consisted of springs, a hospital, a clinic and buildings in which the staff lived.

Before the October Revolution, the main visitors to the hospital were wealthy people. The Bolsheviks made the resort accessible to the working masses. In 1919 he signed a decree on the nationalization of resorts. A year later, Goryachy Klyuch became a Soviet health resort. Construction of the sanatorium began here. In 1924, under the leadership of the Kuban-Black Sea Revolutionary Committee, restoration work began at the resort. As mentioned above, the valley gradually turned into a swamp from the end of the 19th century. Restoration work was associated not only with the construction of a sanatorium and the regulation of the flow coming out of the ground. Experts began studying the composition of the soil and the underground circulation of mineral waters. These studies, which lasted 15 years, helped find several dozen more wells that are still in use today.

The population of the town gradually grew due to the geologists and builders arriving here. In 1926, the town received the status of a village, and in 1930 - a resort village. Until 1963, Goryachiy Klyuch was considered the administrative center of the Goryacheklyuchevsky district.

Goryachy Klyuch suffered significantly during the Great Patriotic War. The resort was almost completely destroyed by the Nazi invaders. A significant part of the sources has also been destroyed and polluted. The occupation lasted about six months. Immediately after the Nazis were expelled, local residents began restoring the resort. From the beginning of August 1943, the resort was already able to receive patients. The main patients of the hospital at that time were wounded soldiers of the Soviet Army.

After the end of the war, geological and hydrological work was carried out on the territory of the resort, which turned out to be very effective. New sources were discovered, and the total water flow per day exceeded 400 thousand liters (when the hospital first opened, this figure was 2 times less).

The history of Goryachy Klyuch as a city began on November 11, 1965. The village of Klyuchevaya was also annexed to the city. In 1975, Goryachy Klyuch was classified as a city of regional subordination (it became the administrative center of the region).

Despite the fact that over the last 10-15 years most Russians have preferred to holiday abroad, the resort has enjoyed considerable success. Currently, 17 wells are actively used, from which 6 types of mineral water are obtained. This diversity allows Goryachy Klyuch to remain a universal balneological resort. The properties of mineral waters in these places are very diverse. The resort successfully treats or alleviates diseases of the peripheral nervous system, musculoskeletal system, and gynecological diseases. The water temperature is quite high: from 37 to 60 degrees. Mineral water contains mainly hydrogen sulfide. It is in Goryachy Klyuch that about 80% of all mineral water in the country is produced.

Today there are several sanatoriums in the city, including “Emerald”, “Caucasus Foothills”, “Goryachiy Klyuch” and others. In addition, construction of the first thermal complex is underway. The project developers were specialists from Germany.

Changed his appearance several times. Its first version appeared in 1976, the second in the 1990s. And more recently, a modern version was created: on the blue field of the coat of arms there is a white gate, in the gate above the ground there is a white jug, from which the same white stream of water flows.

This article was written 4 years ago, today the data in it has been corrected and is current. Due to the fact that for some reason that is not clear to me, our site does not want to show very long articles, it has been divided into parts, read and use hyperlinks...

Working as a real estate agent in the city of Goryachy Klyuch, you can often hear typical questions from visiting people: “Do you like living in Goryachy Klyuch?”, “What is the climate in Goryachy Klyuch?”, “What are the problems in finding a job and what is the average monthly income of a resident?” Hot Key? I will try to answer all this in this article.

As the Roman playwright and comedian Terence Publius Afr once said: “How many people, so many opinions.”

So I decided to express my purely personal opinion, for some it may be true, but others fundamentally disagree with me.

Small but very picturesque resort town of Goryachiy Klyuch in the Krasnodar Territory, founded in 1964, is a balneological resort of all-Russian significance in the Caucasus, it is one of the oldest. It seems to me, Hot key, the only city in Kuban with such nature. This quiet place, closed by mountains on three sides, is truly unique. The valley of a mountain river, covered with dense forest, can hide the summer heat and also give the winter season extraordinary softness. Anapa is the sunniest resort in Russia, Goryachy Klyuch in Krasnodar region It is not at all inferior to the unusually large number of warm days per year. In the city of Goryachy Klyuch the sun is less scorching, this distinguishes it from the city of Anapa for the better. This is facilitated by the microclimate (fresh streams of clean mountain air and the coolness of a mountain river). It is also worth noting the absence of strong winds, which cause a lot of trouble for the residents of Anapa. But we will discuss the climate of Goryachiy Klyuch in more detail later, otherwise we are deviating from the topic.

It is located in the northern foothills of the Caucasus range, on the banks of the mountain river Psekups. In the neighborhood of the Republic of Adygea (the capital of the republic is Maykop), the regional center of the city of Krasnodar is approximately 60 km, and the Black Sea village of Dzhubga is also “a stone’s throw” approximately 65 km. The road to the capital of Russia, Moscow, is 1120 km long. And all along the well-maintained M-4 “Don” highway, which visitors praise very much for its smooth asphalt surface without “bumps” and “potholes,” but the locals scold and spit on it - you quickly get used to the good stuff. The railway line passes through the town of Goryachiy Klyuch, and trains traveling to and from Adler stop at the Goryachiy Klyuch railway station.

The first mention of the place now called Goryachy Klyuch date back to the beginning of the 18th century. The history of the development of this place is quite extensive, but the unique thermal hydrogen sulfide springs unite all periods of the development of the current city of “Goryachiy Klyuch”. These springs were famous for their miraculous properties even during the period when the territory of the Black Sea region was inhabited by the ancient Greeks. But let's not go that far...

“Modern” history dates back to 1864, at which time intensive development of the left bank of the Kuban and the valley of the Psekups River took place. It starts with equipping a hospital for the military. Later, special taps were made for healing springs, and an infirmary and premises for staff were built. On July 15, 1864, the rite of consecration of the “Psekup” mineral springs was performed, which was personally attended by the ataman of the Kuban Cossack army, Count F.N. Sumarokov-Elston. During the lighting ceremony, the singing of the sacred minister echoed in the canyon, and a stream of light broke through the gloomy, stormy sky covered with lead clouds, illuminating the people performing the ceremony. Witnesses accepted what happened as the Finger of God and a blessing.

Thus, July 15 is rightfully considered the founding day of the city, but for reasons unknown to me, the official celebration of the city day takes place on the second Saturday of August. The current name was given to the resort thanks to underground springs of mineral water, the temperature of which reaches up to +60 C°.

In the same year, Cossacks settled in neighboring territories, former Adyghe villages. Are based, Art. Klyuchevaya (now does not exist, merged with the city. Located in the area of Klyuchevaya Street), and. Today they are part of municipal formation city of Goryachy Klyuch.

Modern Goryachiy Klyuch consists of one urban village and six administrative districts, which include 28 rural settlements. The total number of residents is more than 52 thousand: almost 30 thousand of them live in urban areas, 22 thousand live in rural areas. It is noteworthy that there are almost no young people here who leave to work in big cities. However, few of them can completely sever ties with their hometown.

Hot key is one of the ten most environmentally friendly cities in the world! The forest occupies no less than 66% of the territory of this picturesque area, and the cleanest air can turn your head! .

There are no hazardous industries in the Goryacheklyuchevsky district, and most likely there won’t be, at least as the administration assures, there are no traffic jams yet either. You may ask why not yet? I will answer you! Recently, during rush hour, there has been a small traffic jam at the traffic light near the city administration (this, by the way, is the only traffic light in the city) which “dissolves” by itself within 5-10 minutes. Perhaps the authorities will somehow solve this minor problem. Cars are the main sources of air pollution and smoke in the city. However, driving into the resort area of the city of Goryachiy Klyuch is prohibited, traffic is carried out along parallel streets, and on the central street of the city of Goryachiy Klyuch, which, like in many cities of Russia, was renamed in Soviet times in honor of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (formerly called st. Mikhailovskaya) the “Alley of 1000 Pines” was planted and pedestrian traffic with bicycle paths was organized. The access to the park is blocked by a barrier, with a friendly but vigilant security guard who filters incoming vehicles, allowing only special vehicles into the territory. transport and food trucks serving sanatoriums. Sometimes information appears in the media about the pollution of the local environment by the Goryacheklyuchevskaya Furniture Factory or the Road Construction Materials Plant, which is located in the station. Saratovskaya. But it seems to me that this is not on the same scale. There is a pine forest not far from the furniture factory; surely pine trees would not grow next to a source of pollution.

Goryachy Klyuch will be appreciated by those who like fishing, going for mushrooms, berries, nuts and chestnuts.

The relatively mild, moderate continental climate contributes to the treatment of various diseases, the organization of good recreation, excursion business and tourism. The average annual temperature in January is − 2.4 °C, and in July +23 °C. Precipitation is about 930 mm. per year - this is data from official sources.

.
.
.According to my observations, the climate is still changing, however, as elsewhere, probably because of this, every year is different from the previous one. But what is especially pleasing for the Goryacheklchevites is that the summer is quite long - almost at the end of April everyone puts on flip-flops and shorts, and at the end of September, beginning of October they take them off, and the winter is very warm, mild and with little snow. But I repeat, “every year is different from the previous one”! However, you can hear stories from the local population about “harsh” winters, which are perceived with a smile on their faces, especially by people who moved here from the northern regions. There are frosts down to -30°C, and a lot of snow, and in the city, as I understand it, there is a problem with snow removal equipment. Of course it's very hot in the summer! In July - August there is real heat here, the thermometer in the shade will show about 35-45 degrees, but due to the proximity of mountains and forests, this heat is much easier to bear than, for example, in Krasnodar. Very often, visitors from other colder regions are frightened by the heat, but if you are not constantly in the sun, then this ambient temperature can be tolerated quite easily. Think about it, how long will you be outside in the heat of the day? Almost every store, office, car, house has air conditioners. 21st century after all! By the end of October, autumn begins. The leaves gradually begin to turn yellow, there are warm sunny days, approximately like Indian summer in central Russia. Spring starts early. Already in February, the daytime temperature remains consistently above zero.

Given this state of affairs, it is natural that population growth occurs due to migrants and emigrants. According to official data, between 800 and 1,000 people come annually. According to the stories of the indigenous population, the figure is much underestimated. In particular, about three years ago, renting a house, even at the height of the summer season, was not particularly difficult, but now even in winter, it is not always possible to find a suitable option, and prices for rental property have jumped significantly.

As already noted, over 85% of the residents of Goryachiy Klyuch are Russians, for the most part they came from Siberia or the Far East: some back in Soviet times, and some a little later. They treat visitors hospitably. Often, locals are skeptical of migrants in other regions and cities, but this is not about Goryachy Klyuch. Long conversations are not popular here. Many people in Goryachy Klyuch, and especially in the suburbs, live on their own subsidiary plots, and therefore there is a lot of work to do.

If you try to determine the qualities characteristic of the majority of citizens, then it is necessary to note such traits as kindness, sincerity, culture of communication and empathy. If possible, they will help you, give you advice, explain the way, if you don’t know how to get somewhere, maybe even guide you. Goryacheklyuchevtsy are no strangers to the problems of strangers!

There are not many young people. In search of high salaries, most move to large cities, many go to work in Krasnodar, and after work return to their beloved city of Goryachiy Klyuch, fortunately, along the highway you can get to Goryachiy Klyuch faster than to the residential microdistrict of Krasnodar. Some people look for work in Moscow, where they gradually settle down, start a family, and appear in Goryachy Klyuch only to stay during the holiday period. Middle-aged people and retirees live here permanently. Most visitors to the city have the impression that they come here mostly tired of the urban jungle and frosts of the northern regions.

Many people are often concerned about the relationship between local residents and visitors. It should be noted that the indigenous population in Goryachiy Klyuch is no more than 20%, they live mainly in the resort area of the city, where land is very expensive, it is possible that because of them it is so expensive, since for less than 1,000,000 rubles per hundred they don't give it away. The remaining approximately 80% are migrants from different parts of our vast Motherland. You should also pay attention to the fact that there are no interethnic conflicts in the city. However, the Slavs prevail in numbers. I also want to note that the well-known and so unloved “cubanoid” is not a native inhabitant of Kuban, but a lifestyle of some Russians. And you can meet a “cubanoid” not only in Kuban, but anywhere in Russia, perhaps they will just be called differently there...

In view of the fact that the article is called “Dedicated to those wishing to move to the city of Goryachiy Klyuch...”, I think the most interesting part of it will be the part dedicated to the districts of the city of Goryachy Klyuch, construction in Goryachy Klyuch and the sale of real estate...

And so let's get started...

Oh, and I almost forgot there is an excellent service that allows you to take a virtual walk around the Hot Key Google panorama

Hot Key can be divided into several districts. Each, as usual, has its own pros and cons.

So-called district "Zarechye"– is considered one of the first districts of the city of Goryachy Klyuch. In “Zarechye” you can find completely rickety buildings, and new modern two-story mansions and modest, small adobe houses. This area of the city is considered the most unprestigious by the local population, and all because of the “distance” from the center, about 10 minutes on foot, you will have to walk across the brand new pedestrian bridge

(why didn’t the administration build a highway? It still remains a mystery to me, perhaps the reason is that it would be necessary to build a viaduct in order to avoid traffic jams and accidents on the Don M4 federal highway) there used to be a “suspension bridge” on cables,
(all graduates of the Goryachiy Klyuch high school met the dawn there) however, it still exists, but it is forbidden to move around it - it is in disrepair. So, a 10-minute walk, and you are in the very heart of Goryachiy Klyuch in its sanatorium-resort area, where, however, driving a car, if you still remember, is prohibited. To get by car from “Zarechye” to the center you need to cross the railway crossing and return along the highway to the central entrance to the city, but it’s not very far, it seems like 3-4 minutes on the way and you’re in the administrative center of Goryachiy Klyuch with its offices, banks, various shops, food markets, kindergartens, etc., etc. Another drawback is the nearby railway station, with its bustle and noise. The roads are not important, the central streets are covered with asphalt, and further on they are gravel. But of course there are also advantages. One of them is the proximity of the forest, with its coolness, berries, and mushrooms, during the hunting season you can hunt. Trains and the loudspeaker at the railway station do not interfere much...
If you are a former resident of a large city, then you have long been accustomed to the noise on the street, and the local population does not consider the proximity of the station to be a “minus” of their area. Minibus taxis run regularly at intervals of 15 minutes. The area is gasified, electricity is supplied without interruption. A 3G modem from any operator provides a good connection to the Internet without any problems, in a word – beauty!

Land plots and houses are perhaps the cheapest in the city. For a hundred square meters they are asking from 90 thousand rubles, a tourist house on a plot of about 5 acres with an orchard is estimated at 1.8 million rubles with negotiations. A brick house on 2 floors with five rooms with a plot of land of 6 acres, a bathhouse, and a garage costs around 3.3 million rubles, and a luxurious house with a landscaped plot and landscape design can be purchased for 7 million rubles.

In the northeast of Goryachiy Klyuch is located, called by the local population "Razvilka" district. Construction of private houses is underway here, and after some time a modern cottage community with central heating and water supply will be built. There, thanks to the federal program and the Terem construction company, a new microdistrict was formed from modern 3-storey houses with an attic, in which the Terem company builders applied the most modern technologies in construction, resulting in houses with a modern apartment layout, an increased total area of apartments, autonomous heating, modern building facade, and excellent finishing of common areas, such as the entrance, landing and flight of stairs. Today it’s dirty, uncomfortable and noisy, but what can you do – construction! The local population endures these temporary inconveniences, they understand that construction is a temporary phenomenon, and a brand new kindergarten built and equipped according to the latest fashion, so to speak, built by the way by the aforementioned Terem company, is forever. All communications have already been completed, the only thing is that the roads still promise to be much better, but as soon as the trucks with construction materials stop driving, they will lay a brand new asphalt surface. This description of the “Razvilka” district was written 3 years ago, now the global construction has already been completed, there are still local areas where construction work is underway, but the microdistrict is paved, shops, pharmacies, a SberBank branch, a Russian Post branch have opened, there is a supermarket “Magnit”, in a word, a fully developed infrastructure. There is a forest nearby. The road to the center will take 7-8 minutes by car, there are no traffic jams in the city so I think this is not a distance, minibuses run regularly at intervals of 10 minutes.

"Razvilka" has the most houses for sale. Price per hundred square meters from 200 to 400 thousand rubles. and a more or less equipped yard on a plot of 8.5 acres can be bought for 4.5 million. Not far from the “Razvilka”, there is a cottage village “Kurortny”, a closed area, central communications, “Kurortny” can boast of all this. Pros: close location to the city center, quiet, cozy place, private sector. On the downside, construction work is actively underway at the moment, all the inconveniences are only for this reason, but part of the village is already inhabited by happy “new residents”.

Chepurkova Gora area It doesn’t look like a mountain at all, it looks more like a hill. Almost 10 years ago, the organization ZAO Ochakovo built the Gorny sanatorium here and is successfully improving the health of the population. Apparently, this is why sewerage was installed in the area. Unfortunately, there is no gas, but they promise to gasify the area within two to three years. Electricity is supplied stably and without interruption. The roads are asphalted, but their condition is, let’s say, satisfactory. The houses are heated with wood, local water supply, well or boreholes. The advantage of the area is that it is dry and clean, even during the spring thaw (it is still high), the air is clean and there is not a bit of city bustle. The center is a 7-10 minute walk away, as well as regular public transport everywhere.

One hundred square meters of land on “Chepurkova Mountain” costs approximately 150-250 rubles. For a one-story brick house with an area of 140 m2 with European-quality repairs, furniture and household appliances, autonomous water supply and heating, a garage and a gazebo, they are asking 8 million with negotiations. A residential dacha in the same area can be purchased for 1.2 million rubles, and a two-room apartment in a new building for 3 million.

Administration area. The center is also the center in Africa. There are mainly high-rise buildings here - old and new. There are very few private houses and land plots, and they are quite expensive. For example, which has all the imaginable and inconceivable bells and whistles like heated floors in the house, a complete basement and a sauna, costs 25 million rubles. Prices for apartments vary greatly: in a new building without finishing work, the price per square meter. m - from 40 tr., at the construction stage there are offers of 30,000 rubles per sq. m. It’s the same with secondary housing, it all depends on the location of the house, the presence of autonomous heating, the year the house was built, layout, area, and of course the quality of repairs in the apartment itself. Secondary prices range from 2,000,000 to 4,000,000 for a two-room apartment. As for infrastructure, residents of the “Administration” district are provided with all conceivable and inconceivable benefits of the 21st century; all shopping areas, banks, government agencies, kindergartens, schools, and entertainment venues are within walking distance. Any utilities, high-speed cable Internet, 4G mobile Internet.

Area "Sanatoriums", aka "Resort area"– is considered the most prestigious area of the city. This area is particularly quiet, comfortable and clean. Which is not surprising, because this area is a kind of calling card of Goryachiy Klyuch. The buildings are very diverse. A dilapidated hut may well coexist with a luxurious mansion. There are all communications, many guest houses, mini-hotels and rooms for rent, which are in great demand among vacationers. Real estate prices are not just greatly inflated, but, one might say, brutal! One hundred square meters of land here costs around a million; for the same price you can buy land on the seashore. Good houses start from 25 million, simpler houses – from 20. Of course, realtors will offer you more acceptable options, but you shouldn’t count on buying a good house in a “resort area” for less than 8,000,0000. Nearby is the “old” market, more than one supermarket, excellent bus service.

Approximate map of districts of the city of Goryachiy Klyuch

A lot of people who have decided to change their permanent residence to Goryachiy Klyuch consider the Goryacheklyuchevsky district as one of the options for permanent residence. Real estate prices in villages and villages near Goryachiy Klyuch are significantly lower, the roads are good, public transport runs frequently, and the complete absence of city bustle captivates many; there is no seasonal influx of vacationers. Great for permanent residence!

Art. "Saratovskaya" is located about 9 km. from the city of Goryachiy Klyuch, towards the regional capital of Krasnodar. The federal highway Don M-4 is just 2 kilometers away. The village itself, in my opinion, is not very picturesque, but very civilized! In Art. Saratovskaya has its own hospital, various shops, a market, a secondary school and three kindergartens. There is a branch of SberBank with its own ATM, and several self-service stores accept plastic cards for payment. The houses are different. Those that are for sale, mostly tourist ones, are to be demolished. The plots are large - from 10 acres and above. Heating is stove. The village is gasified, but not completely. Water is usually on site, power supply is stable. All cellular operators receive a signal with confidence. Regular minibuses run frequently.

The village of Bezymyanoye is located south of the city, about 20 kilometers. Nearby there is a forest, the Psekups river, the central roads and the road to the village are paved. There is a school and kindergarten, shops, and a recently built church. The only negative that disturbs the silence and charm of the area is the nearby Goryachiy Klyuch - Tuapse railway line. The border of the Caucasian Nature Reserve is nearby, which is why there are a lot of tourists and vacationers in the village in the summer.

One of the most popular southern resorts is the city of Goryachiy Klyuch. This small but very picturesque city is located sixty kilometers southeast of Krasnodar. Goryachiy Klyuch is located near the northern foothills of the Greater Caucasus, in the very valley of the famous southern river Psekups. The peculiarity of the city is that it is surrounded on three sides by mountains and dense forests that occupy tens of kilometers. All this makes the air in the resort city crystal clear. Even the most inveterate skeptic will not dispute its healing properties. There is calm, quiet and tranquility all around, and this makes Hot Key so attractive for people who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the world and really, truly, relax.

The Black Sea coast is not that far from here - only sixty kilometers. Thus, this proximity makes the air in a resort town even healthier, if this quality can be measured and compared. As you know, sea air is charged with ion particles, which have a beneficial effect on any organism, enriching it with oxygen and strengthening the immune system.

Goryachy Klyuch has long established itself as a balneological and drinking resort. People came here for treatment and simply to improve their health back in the 70s of the 19th century. And not just anyone, but honored military officers, officers of the army of the Russian Empire. It was considered a great honor to be able to go to the Goryachiy Klyuch hospital in order to recover from injury from the mineral water of Psekups and its springs.

The best thing is that in Goryachy Klyuch people not only receive physical treatment, but also restore their mental balance.

In order to get to Dante's Gorge, you will have to sweat a little on the mountainside. But this ascent is very easy, the height is small, and you will have to climb along stone steps specially carved here. Anyone who goes on this excursion will, from the very first minutes of the trip, experience all the delights of the Caucasus Mountains and foothills: there are incredibly beautiful landscapes, and for the most convenient viewing, local residents have equipped special viewing platforms.

Dante's Gorge is far from the only place where you can go while on vacation in Goryachy Klyuch. In general, on the territory of the Goryacheklyuchevsky district there are almost two hundred architectural and cultural monuments, as well as attractions created by nature itself. The most famous and interesting, most popular among tourists, include the Phanagoria stalactite cave, the Valley of Enchantment, the Salvation Rock, which is otherwise called the Cockerel Rock, the Mineral Glade, the chapel of the Iveron Mother of God, the Psyfabe and Podnavisla fortresses, the Alley of a Thousand Pines, the Staircase of Life, Bridge of Hope, unique Psekup dolmens, Bogatyr caves and waterfalls on the Kaverza River. All these attractions deserve special attention, and you can spend more than one week exploring them.

Despite the fact that every year the improvement of the resort town changes only for the better, its historical traditions are carefully preserved by local residents. And even if numerous tourists come here, this city still remains a quiet and peaceful place where they truly relax in body and soul.

In the very near future, it is planned to build a thermal complex here according to European standards. The project is designed for the next three years. The complex will be located on an area of eighteen hectares. Specialists from Germany worked on the creation of the project.

Thus, the opening of this thermal complex will only improve the service available to tourists who come to relax in this beautiful resort town.

If we talk about the geographical features of the city of Goryachiy Klyuch, then, first of all, it should be noted that this city stands on the right bank of the Psekups, a river known throughout the world for its healing waters. The border regions are the Belorechensky, Apsheronsky, Tuapse and Seversky districts of the Krasnodar Territory, in addition, the Goryacheklyuchevsky district borders on the lands of the Republic of Adygea.

The city is characterized by a temperate continental climate - in summer it is warm, as always in southern cities, winter is also not characterized by cold temperatures. According to statistics kept by weather forecasters, the average air temperature in summer, particularly in July, is +22 degrees. In January, the thermometer practically never drops below minus one. In general, the summer heat here lasts for five months - from May until the end of September.
