Venice beach. Venice Hotel venice beach 3 tunisia

27.09.2021
I won't go there again and I don't recommend it.
For 15 years of traveling around countries and continents, I am writing such a review for the first time.
We rested at the Venice Beach 3 * hotel. What can I say about the hotel... Nothing good. About everything in order.
Arrived around 7pm and was seated promptly. In the room we were waiting for vibrant colors, which was a pleasant surprise. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and went to the beach. The sea is located, 350 meters across the road, there are sun loungers, immediately a man takes out mattresses. Sun loungers, and the mattresses are dirty, squeezed, old. Sunbeds were sorely lacking, in order to take normal hours you need to come at half past seven in the morning, if people came to the beach closer to ten, you had to lie down on the sunbeds of a neighboring hotel. (and from there they drove people out of our hotel, as they have their own vacationers) The entrance to the sea is through algae, that is, in front of the water itself, heaps of algae that are not removed because of these incredible algae, the water is dark, muddy, some kind of slag. The beach is dirty - camels walk, horses all their feces are washed into the sea - children immediately play with this sand (((the algae on the beach are practically not removed! Regarding food; at first the first days everything was fine. The guests of the hotel were mostly French, but after a few days a large group from Russia arrived and everything somehow began to change. In the morning at breakfast there were not enough plates, forks, knives, and sometimes food. Although they did not remain hungry, they immediately noticed the difference. The dishes were dirty, a couple of times there were wine glasses with traces of lipstick, also cups, plates poorly washed. When they showed the restaurant workers, they quickly took the dishes and left.
One of the evenings in the national dish of rice ---- caught a fried or boiled cockroach. When we showed the restaurant worker, he grabbed a plate and ran to the kitchen. After a couple of minutes, the spouse was called into the kitchen and began to convince that this was a seasoning leaf, and not a cockroach. The cook, with his hands without gloves, began to interfere in the common container with this dish, allegedly looking for a similar leaf. I was very surprised that after stirring with hands without gloves and our find, the dish was not removed. Dinner continued...
At the end of dinner, the senior manager of the hotel approached us and began to prove in an ultimatum form that it was a seasoning, and not a cockroach (the cockroach had been removed from the plate by this time, but a leaf had been put, as it were) The manager behaved very aggressively, yelled in a voice that was not his own and stomped feet. I even began to worry about my husband because I didn’t hear his voice, only the manager’s cries. When, after the conversation, the spouse came out and said that tomorrow a representative of the tour operator would talk to us. The next day, we ourselves approached the guide of our hotel, told everything and showed photos. Our hotel guide Elena immediately asked how she could help us, called the office if it was possible to move to another hotel. A couple of minutes later, a representative of the tour operator Anex Tour approached us. Tatyana began to accuse us of lying. Since she was shown this dish and there was a leaf of seasoning in not a cockroach ---- to which we showed her a photo where everything was visible and understandable, but she continued to raise her voice and accuse how ungrateful we are and that we should have chosen a higher class hotel. I have a question about this to the tour operator Anex Tour. What functions does your representative in hotels perform? I always thought that in the first place they protect the rights of their clients, but not as rude or blaming. Hotel guide Elena is a very competent and professional guide for which special thanks to her.
For 10 days of our stay, linen was not changed once. They cleaned the floor, made the bed and changed the towels. (the towels are mostly old and yellow) The shower was broken, the towel holder too. Fresh roses turned into a herbarium in 10 days… Wifi is only in the lobby and sooo bad, especially when more than five people use it at the same time (usually 20-30 of them), uploading or sending anything is good luck straight!
The reception staff and the waiters of the hotel restaurant are very polite and attentive, they will always listen and help, special thanks to them.
Despite all this, we were able to relax. We took a taxi and traveled all over the island. Taxis are very cheap. The country itself is very colorful, interesting and beautiful. We will definitely come again, but we will choose the hotel more carefully.
Everyone have a good holiday in a good hotel!

In Los Angeles. There is nothing Venetian about this beach, it was simply named so because of the Venice area in which it is located.

So, after walking through the quiet and beautiful streets of the Venice Canals, come back, gentlemen, to the reality of Los Angeles and visit the rastaman beach, where the atmosphere in the “I don’t care” style reigns.

The beach itself is quite large and very wide, but people are arranged in some strange way that almost everyone accumulates in the Venice blv area, while other parts of the beach remain empty. Perhaps we still have a herd mentality.

There are many posts with lifeguards, however, as on all other beaches.

An asphalt road runs along the entire beach, where you can ride all the devices with wheels.

Near the beach there is a Muscle Beach area, where some comrades show quite virtuoso things, for example, push-ups on hands with their feet up, various tricks with rings, etc. In general, the atmosphere of a healthy street work out lifestyle reigns here, if you believe that marijuana is smoked here in order to improve the body.

There are basketball courts nearby.

Just the day we arrived at Venice Beach, street basketball competitions were taking place here.

A distinctive feature of this beach is that if you come here sick, you can completely recover and get a lot of pleasure for only $40!!! And medical marijuana will help with this! Which is sold at every turn. And if they sell it everywhere, then imagine what a “flavor” is here. At first it was wild for me to hear this smell, because even when I was in Ukraine, this smell could be heard very rarely, being in the corresponding company. And here. California, everywhere is full of police who are fighting the spread of drugs, and ... the smell of marijuana slowly spreads along the beach, filling the place where, in theory, brains should be.

Of course, how in such a place and without the appropriate company. Whenever you come here, you can always join a group of "happy and free" people who do nothing but dance and smoke marijuana. Everyone can come up to the company and dance. The dances are accompanied by drum music.

This cheerful company on the beach is complemented by a huge number of homeless people who are well settled here: it is warm on the beach, there are toilets, showers; a lot of onlookers who can sometimes throw a couple of dollars; the varied "spiritual" life that the hippies enjoy; in the trash cans there is always food left by vacationers. Some even have their own beds on the beach, lots of "good" carts, blankets and other trappings of a comfortable life. At the same time, they do not distribute the best smells.

Venice Beach - it seems to me, not the most a nice place Los Angeles, but this is its integral part, the dark side. In principle, marijuana, homeless people, hippies are concentrated in one area of the beach - in the Venice blv area, in other places it is the most ordinary beach. I don’t really like Venice Beach, but to see the city from all its sides, it’s worth coming here at least once. Surprisingly, many locals are very fond of this beach.

Reviews of the hotel Venice Beach 3* (Venice Beach) Djerba Tunis

The hotel is super, the food is at a high level, but the surroundings of the hotel are a disaster, I didn’t even want to go out, it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the sea, there are carriages with poor horses, they are free and you can get to the beach

I stayed at this hotel in the second half of October. I won't write much about the hotel. all the reviews above have already objectively evaluated both good food and the presence of clean territory and pools. I can add information for a correct assessment of the prospects for recreation at this time. During the week of my stay at the hotel, the weather changed constantly. Out of 7 days at sea, 5 days were stormy, one day it was not even possible to enter, in the evening a storm broke out. The next day, it was scary to look at the beach because of the heaps of algae. The beach is actually tiny, but it was almost empty. About a dozen Russian tourists lay on deckchairs and breathed the sea air - sunbathing without the sun ... The weather was really sunny for 2 days. But it was possible to safely go on excursions - there is no sweltering heat. I went with a tour operator for a survey of the island - $ 20 ...

I will write briefly. Cleaned up every day. The food is varied, tasty, there were no malfunctions in the work of digestion. The animators are incendiary and sincere guys. The beach is 10 minutes on foot or will be taken with a breeze by free transport. The beach is clean. Pools too. Convenient to get to the airport. Rest was a success!!! I liked everything! Let's go again!

I went on vacation alone this time, but we got to know each other a little. In Tunisia for the first time. With whom I talked, in general, my opinion coincided with mine. money, although the clock is only half past ten. They brought a plate of fruit - grapes, apples, dates, very handy. The room is simple, but not miserable and even, I would say, quite stylish. Everything works well - faucets, handles, locks .. .I liked the view of the pool, the lawn, palm trees with dates. There are no complaints about the staff, if you don’t look for them specifically. The exchange of money at the reception is always and at the correct rate - 2.8 dinar / dollar. There are no questions at all about food. It is quite simple ( well, what to expect from a budget option), but varied - salads, olives, side dishes of several types are always ...

The four of us rested - 2 couples 6.10-17.10, arrived after dinner and were immediately settled, the rooms were good, on the second floor overlooking the pool. Upon arrival, we were greeted with cocktails, which honestly did not impress us) Not that we are drinkers, but the quality of alcohol is a separate minus for this hotel.

The rooms are normal, for the first time I saw a bath in a hotel) usually these are either shower cabins, or just a shower head)

The food is not bad, meat, vegetables and desserts were in abundance, I would like seafood, but they were not. This is the second small minus of the hotel) But everything is solved - the first minus is solved by a taxi for 3 dinars - you can get to the AlJazira store, where normal alcohol is sold at reasonable prices) In the establishments nearby, they ate seafood, nearby ...

Good day! Were on the island of Djerba for the first time, however, as in Tunisia. The holiday went well, the only thing that upset and spoiled the holiday was the dirty sea and the beach. We swam in the sea 2 times during the holidays, when there was little algae, and the rest of the days there were heaps of algae on the beach along with rotten fish and manure from camels and horses, it was all rotten in the sun, which was why there were unbearable smells. We spent all the time at the hotel by the pool or on excursions. We went to the market with the ability to bargain, you can buy good things for home decor, if you don’t have such an ability, it’s easier to buy souvenirs on the street corner to the right of the hotel, the store offers a large selection of souvenirs with fixed prices. Tip: do not buy sim cards from the guide, they are much cheaper in the same store for 10 dinars (...

So first things first. The hotel is small, the rooms are in good condition. They remove themselves. Cleaners made swans and other handicrafts for all the other guests of the hotel. We were cleaned by a man, so the cleaning was not very good, and we did not see the swans even for a solid tip. But after the tip, we changed the bed every day. Room cleaning without tips will be 3-4 stars. The hotel has 2 adult outdoor pools, 1 children's and 1 indoor. The food is excellent for 4 stars pulls quietly. All products are natural, a wide variety of meat and offal. For lunch, 3-4 types of meat or meat dishes are calm. During our vacation, 8 days were given all kinds of meat: an idea, beef, pork, chicken, meatballs, sausage. Meat has always been in one form or another. They also always gave fish (not very fish), 1 dinner was completely fish ...

Rested at the hotel from 10/04/18 to 10/14/18. I flew with Azur Air. Tunisia met the first day with a downpour. Settled in immediately. Arabic style room, no refrigerator, no safe, no personal hygiene items, only soap provided, so take everything with you. Towels are changed daily. The room is well cleaned. Plumbing is old but working. The hotel rests mostly French, Russians are also quite a few, there were Poles. By the end of my holiday, Algerians and Libyans were settling in. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea, for those who are tired of walking, there is a carriage with a horse. It doesn’t smell very nice behind the hotel), once I saw the sewage flowing right along the side of the road, but this is Africa, I knew where I was flying. Since there was a storm in the first days, there was a lot of algae on the sea and on the beach. The sea is warm, but I would not say that it was ...

We rested in this hotel with 2 couples, got rooms overlooking the pool on the second floor. We were satisfied with everything. , whoever is lucky, from the whole company, someone didn’t catch at the reception, but someone caught it on the other side of the pool. Everything was left in the room: money and phones and cameras, everything is safe and sound. hotel territory small, but the hotel itself is very cozy, the staff is attentive and friendly. the animation is good and cheerful, they don’t understand Russian well, but they try very hard)), from entertainment, water aerobics, darts, volleyball, water polo, table tennis, etc.. every evening some kind of program (tricks, fakir show, cobra show, etc.) and a children's disco ...

I put this recommendation because they need to choose! At the same time, there is no "abstain" button !!! Summary: -I came for the sea and the sun and got it; -A hotel on the SECOND line that is quite adequate for my money; -DO NOT GIVE WATER IN BOTTLES IN THE HOTEL in the bar and in the restaurant) - game, I know, but it's true); - The beach is far away. - Sunbeds are not enough when the hotel is full; I bought a local SIM card for 15 dinars with 2.5 GB traffic included. The advantage is that it is not tied to Wi-Fi in the lobby (where it takes it). SIM cards are sold in all small shops. Now, on business... To begin with, when I went to the bus to the hotel, the guide told me that the hotel could not accept me and for one night I would be accommodated in Palm Azur 4 * (which is better according to the guide) . ...

Good afternoon to all readers. I'll start right away with the big cons of the hotel. 1st .. This is the remoteness of the beach (walk from the hotel to the beach for 20 minutes or take a carriage to coastline,A there is another 10 minutes to the beach. The distance from the hotel to our beach is 2km. 2nd The beach is very small and there are not enough sunbeds, if you come to the beach after 8 am, then it is unlikely that YOU WILL HAVE A PLACE. There is no toilet, only in the next bar. 4th. There are not enough appliances, unless you come to the opening, but this is also nonsense to stand in line like for sausage. Otherwise, everything is like in all hotels. About sugar I will say that it is not worth the money $ 100 per person. nothing much to see. a divorce for money at each stop comes with a guide. Go for a day in sugar. The waterfall that is indicated (her ...

I advise everyone, a very good hotel. Especially suitable for families with children and for those who do not like noisy parties. Wonderful food, everything was enough. Various dishes, a lot of sweets and fruits, delicious ice cream. All staff are polite and friendly. Cleaning every day. Animation is super especially for children, well, during the day the guys will keep you busy, you won’t be bored. I think we’ll go there again

My husband and I went in September 2018. We arrived with the North Wind airline, the weather was +40 ... I met Pegas. The guide is a nice, not pushy girl. To the hotel 25 min. They settled in right away. The hotel is small and quiet. At first glance, I didn’t like the room at all, it smelled terribly of chlorine, my mood dropped. the room was ventilated, things were sorted out and it seemed like at home .. it felt better :) I will say right away .. if we went with children (10 and 15) they would have nothing to do there .. because there is no water park. Two pools... one is quieter, the other is more noisy, where all day activities with animators take place. Boys don't get bored. ? Upon arrival, a swimming pool, a chic dinner and evening animation. Satisfied. Morning breakfast and sea. We are early...

We rested at the hotel in September with my husband. For a Tunisian 3 * hotel is very good. Large territory, two pools, which is important when you want to swim and sunbathe without a large crowd of people and children, because. you won’t go far to the sea several times a day! We were placed quickly, we were lucky the room was opposite the main pool, the noise of our animation and neighboring hotels did not interfere. The room is clean, large for 3 *, the only minus is one socket, but we experienced travelers took a tee. They cleaned everything well, changed everything, no complaints. The food for Tunisia is excellent. A lot has been written about this below, I won’t repeat myself. I’ll add that I’m not a fan of sweets, but the fact that the hotel’s pastry chef baked is just a fairy tale !!! About catering, there were joints. From time to time, and we rested for 15 days, the hotel was completely filled and locals came to...

I would like to say right away that Tunisia is not suitable in principle for pure lovers and extremely pedantic people. If you are ready to turn a blind eye to tons of garbage flying in the wind and the smell of excrement on the roads behind the hotel, then the cleanliness of the hotel will not disappoint you. The tour was bought by Coral Travel, which we have never regretted. When we checked in, we got a very nice room overlooking the main pool, the room had air conditioning and a TV, a clean bathroom and a large bed (for me it was uncomfortable and consisted of 2 mattresses). The room was cleaned every day, changed towels; Little ants were constantly running on the floor, they didn’t do anything with them. The food is varied, everyone has different requirements on this issue, so I’ll say that no one went hungry for sure. The waiters work quickly, clean and bring food...

I really liked the hotel, I want to write a review. We rested together with our 2.5 year old daughter. We checked in on September 6 at midnight due to a flight delay. Dinner at the hotel until 21.30, and dinner was not left for us in the room, and we did not hope for this in a three-star hotel, so we were not upset)) Upon arrival, do not regret paying 10-15 dollars at the reception upon check-in - and you will be settled the best room. We did just that - we were settled in a 4-bedroom room, cleanly cleaned, with a TV set and with a perfectly working air conditioner. View of the hotel and pool. On the territory of 3 outdoor pools, one for children. All are comfortable with clean water that doesn't smell like bleach. The area is large enough, not crowded. There are many date palms, unfortunately dates ripen only in October, and in September they are tart, but my daughter and I have a little bit of them ...

I was abroad for the first time, of course there is nothing to compare with, but in my opinion the hotel is closer to 4 * ... So, in order: 1) We met well, brought cold juice, which was very important in an unusually hot climate). Placed quickly, we do not understand how we got a family room, it is two-room, apparently just lucky). We saw a standard room, it is much smaller. Another plus of the family room is a large balcony, standard ones are small ... 2) The room is clean, the furniture is almost like new, cleaning without pretensions, towels were always changed, bed linen was changed every time, the floor was washed every time ... We left a tip of 5 dinars, then found on the bed figurines of towels and flowers). There is no refrigerator in the room, the safe is also only at the reception for a fee, but we did not use it, nothing was missing.3) Animation is not particularly interesting...

For quite a long time they could not decide on the country, but while they were choosing, then all the profitable offers scattered literally before our eyes. Well, as they say - "he who seeks will always find", and now we were lucky, this hotel caught our eye, without hesitation we read reviews about it and everything suits, almost all the reviews are positive despite the fact that this is a 3 * hotel , many wrote that this hotel is 4 *, or even 5 *, well, plus everything, the hotel was with a 40% discount! There were only 3 tours left in this hotel and we became these lucky ones, that the most important thing was not lost with this choice! And so, I'll start in order. We arrived in Tunisia at 19-30, the road to the hotel was approximately 20-25 minutes. We settled in literally in 5 minutes, everything was very prompt, they immediately treated us to cocktails, put on bracelets and took us around...

We were in this wonderful hotel at the end of August, I chose it myself, based only on reviews (like most, however). While still at the hotel, I promised myself that I would definitely leave a review upon arrival! Everything, well, everything was wonderful! All the reviews turned out to be true)) The staff are cuties, they always smile and say hello, immediately raises an already good mood) Food. A lot, a lot of delicious food: salads, pastas, pizza, snacks, fruits and Divinely delicious sweets)) We ate like it was the last time)) There was always something to choose from drinks: cocktails (alcohol and "non-alcohol"), wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee (delicious by the way, because somewhere I heard that it is not very good here) and water from a cooler (you can buy a large bottle for 2 or 3 dinars in your room). Housekeeping: We were only there at night and...

rested with my mother on a djerba this summer, the choice fell on the Venice Beach hotel, because the reviews were very good. I liked the hotel with its warm welcome, all the hotel staff are very friendly, which cannot but rejoice after a tiring flight! at first we were settled in a room on the 1st floor, but I asked to change the room, which they did without problems, because ants crawl on the 1st floor. they didn’t interfere with someone, but personally I’m not a fan of insects)) we settled down on the 3rd floor, by the way, all the hotels on djerba are 2-3 floors, since you can’t build buildings higher than palm trees)) the room is quite cozy, there is everything you need, air conditioning, TV, balcony, table with chairs and on the balcony there is also a table with chairs, the room is quite clean, there were towels and soap from the bathroom accessories. cleaned in the room every day. in resto...

We are very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The food is different every day for lunch and dinner, breakfast is the same. The choice is large, there is a lot of food, meat, chicken, salads, side dishes, desserts for every taste. There was always at least 2-3 types of meat. Soups. Local dishes were also given almost always. Of fruits, we were given two types each (watermelon or melon and plums). In addition to breakfast-lunch-dinner, a bar with drinks (tea, coffee, water, cocktails, alcohol) is open all day from 10 to 00, and pizza and pancakes are also made in the afternoon until dinner. Food for 5ku.Number- spacious, bright room. No frills. The sea is super! Getting there is not a problem at all, either by carriage or on foot in about 10 minutes. On the beach, it was not a problem for us to walk to our territory on it either, we walked along the coast. The beach itself is not big, but our hotel had enough for everyone, there were a pile of sunbeds, they were always...

The four of us rested - 2 couples 6.10-17.10, arrived after dinner and were immediately settled, the rooms were good, on the second floor overlooking the pool. Upon arrival, we were greeted with cocktails, which, frankly, did not impress us) Not that we are drinkers, but the quality alcohol is a separate minus for this hotel. The rooms are normal, for the first time I saw a bath in a hotel) usually it’s either showers or just a shower head) The food is not bad, there was plenty of meat, vegetables and desserts, I would like seafood, but they weren’t. This is the second small minus of the hotel) But everything is solved - the first minus is solved by a taxi for 3 dinars - you can get to the Al Jazeera store, where normal alcohol is sold at reasonable prices) In restaurants nearby, they ate seafood, there is a Loasis restaurant next to the hotel, there crabs are only 22 dinar! Also in the hotel 1 time they gave national food for dinner) There was trouble with fruits, 2 times for breakfast there were delicious dates, the rest of the time not very tasty melon and watermelon, but sweet and tasty grapes and pomegranate. Breakfast is a separate pleasure) you could choose pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese or fried eggs, very tasty puffs. The sea is gorgeous! Every day was different, it was both dirty and restless, perfectly clean and transparent, but they always swam! even on the day of departure, when there were huge waves that just knocked me off my feet) The sand under my feet is wonderful, but sometimes there are stones in the sea, on the first day I was so thrown back on them that I spent the whole vacation with a huge bruise on my leg) After that, in the sea came carefully! We got up every day at six-thirty-thirty in the morning (in Moscow it’s eight-thirty-thirty), went to breakfast and then to the sea) It took about 15 minutes to go to the beach, you can ride a horse halfway, it’s already on foot along the coast, but it didn’t bother me! The beach was cleaned every morning, so the sand was clean and pleasant. Also pleased with the booth with drinks, quite decent water, cola, fanta. Not diluted powder, but straight delicious drinks. We rode a jet ski (borrowed from a person on the beach) and on a camel) The time at the pool at the hotel was also interesting) the animators, of course, are fools, but well done) there was both aqua aerobics and water polo (our boys actively played), at 4 pm volleyball every day. In the neighborhood, those who wished to play a strange game called "pedanka") A couple of times I saw yoga, darts, they also played tennis themselves - rental rackets and balls cost 10 dinars. The music did not interfere, on the first day when we arrived we were so tired that we fell asleep immediately, on the following days we went to bed after the disco, and after dinner the music is turned off for a couple of hours so that those who wish can sleep in the room. The hotel itself is small, but very cozy, the people in it made a special atmosphere) We had many compatriots (we are from Kazan), with whom we quickly became friends) we also met vacationers from Moscow, Chelyabinsk, St. Petersburg) Athletes from Libya came for one day, Algiers, they arranged an interethnic water polo and volleyball battle)) I also liked the bartenders at the bar) They always poured what you asked for, empty glasses were removed in a timely manner, they understand a little Russian) At the reception, by the way, they also understand Russian a little, I was pleasantly surprised ! Every evening there was some kind of show) and fakirs, and cobras, and national folklore, and a fire show, then a disco. There was also a disco for children every day, the songs were the same, but interesting) A couple of times it was very atmospheric when they turned on national music and the Tunisians themselves danced to it) It’s a pity that I didn’t have time to shoot a lot on video. Once we went to the local Texas club, since it is within walking distance) the club is excellent, I don’t remember when I danced like this the last time) went to Midun. I brought home some ceramic dishes, textiles, olive oil, tuna in olive oil (very very tasty!), some hair cosmetics, dates and alcohol) I really liked the rest, 11 days flew by! I am very glad that we ended up in this hotel, on these dates, and this company!

Excellent 3 star hotel with 5 star food.
There are a lot of date palms, unfortunately dates ripen only in October, and in September they are tart, but my daughter and I ate them a little)) What was a pleasant surprise in comparison with Egypt - Tunisians are not so annoying, you can’t walk a meter and a meter in sharm al sheikh, like some smart-ass Arab has already come up with a wiring plan for you. Here people are a little simpler and nicer. I want to note that the staff is all good, they smile, compliment their daughter. Cleaning - no problem. We don’t litter much at all, and we don’t like it when they climb around the room without us, and therefore we hang a red mark on the door about the uselessness of cleaning. On the 4th day, we decided the cleaner himself came up to us in the corridor and asked why we weren’t asking to clean up))) The next day, the label was turned green and everything was immediately completely tidied up with the replacement of towels and making the beds. Every evening at 21.00 children's disco, where 4 animators dance with children (children usually only from 5 to 12 people). Children's songs are always the same, we are fed up, but the children, on the contrary, liked it, because. they eventually learned the characteristic movements to each song. Well done animators, they try. During the day they watch the pool so that no one drowns, they offer volleyball, water polo, water aerobics.
Russian in the hotel about 50%. Many write badly about Arab vacationers. In our opinion, they are no worse and no better than Russians. Everyone behaved civilly and non-aggressively towards others. There were no questions at all for the absolute majority of them, but for the Russians who bathed children without panties right next to the Arabs with Arab women wrapped up to their heads, I had a misunderstanding. Well, panties can be put on a pancake for a child ?? Another hobby of our mothers is to put a child's bare ass on the bar counter, where they distribute pizza or put children's shoes there too. Although here one Arab granny distinguished herself - in the restaurant she put the child on the table along with her legs and shoes (!) And began to feed him right like that, putting a plate between his legs, we already choked. Well, right in the sea to pee / poop to put a child in their order of things. Let's be a little more cultured, it's unpleasant to see it all.
The sea in Tunisia is very good. Soft white sand, shallow near the shore, stones are rare. When the waves are weak - everything is fine, the sea is clean and transparent. But with the strengthening of the waves, small algae begin to rise from the bottom (some write that they are smelly - in September they were almost odorless). With strong waves and high tide, the concentration of algae can reach as high as vegetables in okroshka)) But as you move away from the coast, they end. Unpleasant availability a large number camels and horses for a "ride" along the entire seashore. Periodically, some of them fall out onto the gentle white sand, albeit not in the most ugly form, kakahi. Their concentration is not fatally high, but still it would be much more pleasant without animals on the shore! Maybe someday in Tunisia they will pass a law banning them from the coastline of beaches. There are quite a few fish in the sea, you will not see beauty like in Egypt under water. I met 3 species of fish and caught several crabs, which were cut into my fingers well (the size of crabs is 100-500 grams). They have an interesting feature - in a second they completely burrow into the sand, I have not seen this before, they are very fast and aggressive. I saw them on the market, they were probably delicious. It’s a pity the weather didn’t let them catch them earlier, in last days It wasn’t before cooking, so I let it go.
Now for excursions: in Tunisia there are 2 must-see places where you need to go: this is a crocodile farm in Djerba and a trip to the Sahara desert. Due to a small child, we did not get into sugar, but the reviews were very positive. But we went to the crocodiles! Through tour operators, excursions are 2-2.5 times more expensive! We went to the farm by taxi (and it is very cheap and common there, it turned out to be 75 rubles one way), the entrance ticket was 500 rubles per adult (it cost 1250 rubles through the operator). The farm is chic, beautiful territory, healthy animals. There are a lot of crocodiles, 200 adults and a bunch of kids. At 17.00 there was meat feeding - a spectacle not for the faint of heart! They all gathered along the shore and waited for this moment, opening their mouths and freezing. There was a struggle for every piece. One crocodile was bitten off by another half of the jaw for a piece of meat, tin. After feeding, everyone went to take pictures with small meter-long crocodiles with their mouths tied. They could be touched and held. It was well organized - 5 crocodiles for taking pictures, a general queue with distribution was organized. And then we found out that it turns out that we can additionally go free of charge to the territory of the museum and the territory where the real buildings of the hinterland are presented local residents. Moreover, it was possible to go into these buildings and there the locals went about their business - they ground some kind of flour, dried fruits, made wine. The most interesting thing is that it was somehow real, not for show. In general, we were almost alone there, for some reason there were no other tourists (the time was approximately 19.00). In general, the crocodile farm is my recommendation. We also went to the bazaar in the city of Houmt Souk - we DID NOT like it - dirty, poor and the choice is not much different from the shops nearby. The next day I went to the city of Midoun, it's nearby. I liked it better there. The goods are almost the same and the prices too, if you bargain well, you can win well in price. I went to a local cafe - for 87 rubles (eighty-seven !!!) they made me a hookah, brought a bottle of mineral water and a glass of mint tea :). But in cafes, be more careful and pay only in dinars, on the first day I was so well warmed up by a waiter in a cafe not far from the hotel (8 dollars).
Drinks in the hotel are not bad, but not strong, although I did not want strong in the heat. You can drink any time before midnight. Good cocktails.
