Every year since 2008, masters from different countries of the world captivate tourists and city residents with their skill and skill. All thematic exhibitions, and the size of the sculptures is huge.

All the sand figures at the festival in Burgas were skillfully and realistically made.

In 2015 we attended a festival called "On safari with a camera", where the works of 10 sculptors, mostly foreign, were presented. The sand figures amazed us with their beauty and diversity.

If at first we doubted whether it was worth going to the festival ( entrance by the way paid, and is 3 levs for an adult), then after visiting, we never regretted the time spent on it.

The sculptures are located in a small Jezero Park, which is located on the outskirts of the Primorsky Park.

If you decide to go and see the sand figures, we recommend going in the morning or evening(Jezero Park is located in an open area and the hot sun at lunchtime simply melts the surrounding air).

Where is the park and how to get here?

The park is located in one of the most tourist parts of Burgas, literally 10 minutes from central square of the city.

You can get to Primorsky Park in different ways:

  • if you are on the central street of the city - Aleksandrovskaya, then it will be enough to turn a little to the left on Aleko Bogorodi Street;
  • get off at the final stop at the Southern Bus Station of Burgas, then walk a little along Bulair Street;
  • get off at the “Park Jezero” stop, which is located almost at the exit from the city towards Nessebar.
