Places where you can have a good rest. Where to relax in the summer abroad

18.07.2024

On the eve of the holiday season and the long-awaited summer holidays, many parents are puzzled by difficult choices. I want to leave the stuffy and dusty city behind me, change my usual surroundings, and gain vivid impressions. But holidays with children have their own specifics. It should be an exciting adventure that will not leave the child time for boredom and whims and at the same time will be interesting to his adult companions.

An ideal option when such a vacation does not go beyond the family budget. At the same time, we must not forget about safety and maximum comfort for a child or teenager. But how to combine all these requirements? Where can parents and children relax in the hot summer so that the trip is inexpensive but enjoyable for the whole family?

Sea of Azov

If your idea of the perfect family vacation involves splashing around in warm water and getting a chocolate tan, there's no need to think twice. You will never be bored on the sea coast, and such a trip will be good for your health. Vacationers with small children are better off going to the Sea of Azov.

It is not comparable to Cherny in depth, but it warms up faster and attracts tourists with the early start of the swimming season. Many people open it already during the May holidays. There are also disadvantages: the water in the Sea of Azov also cools quickly. If in Sochi, Gelendzhik, Gagra people are still actively swimming in mid-September, the velvet season is in full swing, then here at this time you can no longer splash around in the warm waves.

But in the summer you can forget about everything, enjoying the open spaces and convenience of the beaches of the Azov Sea. They are long and smooth, consisting mainly of sand or shell rock, although there are also pebbles. The gentle entrance to the water and the absence of slippery stones mean you don’t have to worry about the safety of children. Even between swims, they will have something to do on the beach. You can race through the water near the shore, raising hundreds of splashes, build sand castles, and collect beautiful shells.

The most popular among tourists on the coast of the Azov Sea is the resort town of Yeysk. Adults are attracted here by the healing mud. They also bring a lot of fun to children. There will be no problems finding housing in Yeysk. There are options for every taste and budget: from rooms in comfortable hotels to a more budget-friendly private sector. You can stay in a sanatorium or recreation center.

Within the city there are many equipped free beaches, the cleanliness of which is monitored. Some sanatoriums and boarding houses provide guests with their own beaches of increased comfort and safety, which hotels and recreation centers cannot boast of. If you are in Yeisk with a child, you should definitely visit Kamenka Beach. Its developed infrastructure offers a lot of entertainment for tourists of all ages. Among them are table tennis, a shooting range, and children's car rental.

A visit to the dolphinarium and aquarium, where you can observe the inhabitants of the deep sea, will brighten up your holiday in Yeisk. A trip to the Nemo water park will bring a lot of impressions. It is located in the city and is equipped with swimming pools of varying depths and many children's attractions. It will be interesting for both kids and schoolchildren.

Days by the sea are diversified by walks in I.M. Park. Poddubny. Children will love the entertainment available in it, and especially the part where there are various attractions. There are several dozen of them in the park. Many of them will also attract adult visitors.

You can combine entertainment with broadening your horizons by visiting the Kubansky Khutor ethnographic center. Its workers will tell in detail about the life, traditions, character and morals of the Kuban Cossacks. If impressions are not enough, you can always go on an excursion. Special bureaus offer different route options. Among them, you can choose the one that is suitable for the child’s age and will not tire him.

The cost of a vacation in Yeysk will be an average amount. You can have a cheap holiday there with a child if you approach your search for housing wisely. City forums will come to the rescue here, where they negotiate with the owner himself. An option with minimal amenities will cost from 500 rubles. per day of stay.

When planning a trip to the sea with children, you need to take into account food costs. If you cook yourself, they will be much lower than when visiting canteens.

Black Sea coast

It has become a tradition for many families to spend their holidays on the Black Sea coast. With older children, you can go to any of the popular resort places: Gelendzhik, Adler, Tuapse, Novorossiysk, Kabardinka, Arkhipo-Osipovka. Kids will have more fun, and their parents will have more peace of mind in Anapa and its surroundings: the villages of Dzhemete and Vityazevo.

Huge beaches running towards the horizon, where you can bury your feet in clean sand and splash in the shallows, warm sea, developed infrastructure, and an abundance of dining rooms with the usual European menu speak in its favor. But there is one drawback. The sea here warms up well, but begins to bloom early. Although children even like to catch algae from the water and play kikimora and mermen.

Anapa is a natural health resort. Despite the proximity of the sea, the air here is dry and easy to breathe. You won’t be bored in Anapa; both children and their parents will be able to find entertainment to suit their tastes. A water park, a dolphinarium, an aquarium, numerous parks, a beautiful and long embankment with attractions, various excursions - this is not a complete list.

To have an inexpensive holiday with children in Anapa, you should look for accommodation in the private sector or guest houses. The minimum price offered by their owners is 350 rubles. per person per day. Hotel accommodation will cost more: 650 rubles. per person and more. But in the long run, this option may turn out to be more attractive: many of them accommodate small children (under 5-7 years old) for free. Most boarding houses have the same advantage.

Crimea

A family vacation in Crimea will leave unforgettable impressions. Those who have visited its resorts call this corner an earthly paradise. Crimea is famous for its unique climate, unusually clean air, filled with the aroma of juniper, and amazingly beautiful nature. It is believed that there are fewer tourists there, prices are cheaper, the beaches are cleaner, and the people are more welcoming and friendly.

Going to the sea in Crimea is the best option for children and adults with weak immune systems. For a family holiday, you should choose a hotel near the bay. The water in the bays warms up to great depths, and you don’t have to be afraid of strong currents. It is worth checking which beach is located near the selected accommodation. In Crimea they suit every taste: sandy, pebble, and even wild ones, consisting of huge boulders.

Evpatoria is especially popular as a children's resort. The sea here is calm, with a flat sandy bottom. The healing air will benefit children suffering from respiratory diseases. Mineral waters and healing mud will complement its effect.

Swimming can be alternated with excursions to corners of protected nature, trips to the arboretum, dolphinarium, oceanarium, water park, walks along the shady alleys of recreation parks, visits to an amusement park, among the carousels of which children will definitely be attracted by the railway. It is worth visiting the well-known zoo and crocodilarium in Yalta and the oldest botanical garden, located between the village of Nikita and the Black Sea.

Housing can be rented on a budget. Prices per day for a room in an apartment start from 350 rubles, for a one-room apartment - from 550 rubles, for a two-room apartment - from 650 rubles. The condition of the property and the degree of distance from the sea are the main factors influencing its cost. You will be pleasantly surprised by the prices for food.

In addition to Evpatoria, you can go with children to:

  • Zander;
  • Feodosia;
  • Sevastopol.

Fans of “natural massage” should pay attention to the resorts on the southern coast of Crimea with pebble beaches:

  • Miskhor;
  • Simeiz;
  • Alupka;
  • Alushta;
  • Yalta.

When choosing a place to travel to Crimea, you need to take into account the age of the child. It will be difficult for kids to go down serpentine roads or numerous steps. And carrying them in their arms will tire parents, negating the delights of relaxation.

Baltic Sea

A trip to the sea is a win-win option for a summer holiday with children. But if the child or parents do not tolerate heat well, the coasts of the Azov and Black Seas are not suitable. In summer in Russia you can have a great time by the Baltic Sea. Its sandy beaches with dunes are surrounded by pine forests, where you can easily walk for hours, enjoying the fragrant air.

Accommodation is provided in neat wooden houses with all amenities. The air here in summer warms up to +24 °C. The water remains cool. In July-August its temperature is about +20-+22 °C.

Families with children most often choose the Curonian Spit for their vacation. The most popular places are the villages of Morskoye, Lesnoy, Rybachy. These areas are distinguished by very rich flora and fauna. You can swim in the fresh water bay or in the Baltic Sea.

Nearby are cities with a long history: Kaliningrad, Zelenogradsk, Svetlogorsk. The Kosa National Park offers several hiking trails that will allow you to fully enjoy the beauty of the Baltic nature. When vacationing with older children, it is worth finding time to visit the Dancing Forest, the ornithological station, Swan Lake, and observation platforms located at the Efa and Müller heights.

Altai

Fans of active recreation will love the resorts of the Altai Territory. The most popular of them is Belokurikha. According to experienced tourists, relaxing in Altai is like visiting the Alps. Such a trip will not be forgotten: mountain meadows, springs with crystal clear water, noisy rivers, waterfalls, mysterious caves, and above all this rise mighty mountains, on the tops of which there is always snow.

It is not difficult to find holiday accommodation for families with children in the Altai Territory. There are sanatoriums, boarding houses, recreation centers, hotels, hotel and tourist complexes. Many of them have children's rooms, and in the courtyard there are playgrounds with sandboxes, swings and slides for kids. Some boast a swimming pool, children's cinema or mini-zoo.

Children will enjoy relaxing by the pond. You can stay at Lake Aya or Lake Manzherokskoye, in the tourist areas - Turyuzovaya Katun or Rublyovka, located near artificial lakes. In addition to swimming and visiting the water park, cycling and horse riding routes, river rafting, and fishing are popular in Altai.

If your budget allows, you can take a sightseeing tour by helicopter. The Manzherok ski complex was built near Lake Manzherok. In summer there is a ski lift. Tourists have the opportunity to climb the mountains to a height of 600 m, from where a breathtaking view opens.

Schoolchildren will be delighted to visit the extreme park located in the village of Ust-Sema. A pine forest, where an obstacle course is installed right on the trees at a height of 6 m from the ground - what could be more exciting? You can choose routes of varying difficulty. Here, experienced instructors will teach your child the basics of rock climbing.

In Altai it is also worth visiting the base of delta and paragliders, the Shcheki tract, which is a natural monument. A trip to the Chemal reservoir will impress both children and parents. Numerous attractions, bungee riding, walking on suspension bridges - all this is definitely worth trying. A majestic spectacle that will forever remain in memory is the release of water from the Chemal hydroelectric station.

Ural and Bashkiria

A family vacation in the Urals will be budget-friendly and memorable. You can stay in a holiday home, sanatorium or camp site, located in a picturesque and environmentally friendly area. It is not difficult to find housing near a pond so that children can swim to their heart's content. Most likely, there will be a pine forest or mixed grove nearby. The beauty of nature, silence and clean air - this is what tourists are looking for here.

The owners of hotel complexes offer many types of active recreation with children: you can ride bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, ATVs, catamarans; shoot at a shooting range, play paintball, football, tennis, kayaking. Kids will have fun on the playgrounds, excursions, and in the playroom under the supervision of an experienced teacher. Older schoolchildren will probably want to go rafting and diving, and go horseback riding.

Bashkortostan would be an interesting option for a budget holiday with children. You can spend your vacation actively and with health benefits in sanatoriums and numerous cultural parks. In Ufa it is worth visiting:

  • central park Gafuri;
  • Magic World park;
  • Petrochemical Park;
  • cultural park named after. Zhukova.

A variety of attractions will amuse the child. You can rest a little and replenish your strength for a further walk in children's cafes. They offer an extensive and inexpensive menu that includes delicious desserts. Neftekhimiki Park often hosts fairs where you can buy useful things, gifts for kids, and even get your child ready for school. And all this at low prices.

In Ufa there are many children's sanatoriums equipped with playgrounds. The children's theater gives performances all year round. The repertoire of local cinemas necessarily includes children's films and cartoons.

In Bashkiria, in the summer the whole family can relax in Belebey. The Chance club is popular here, where children can have fun and learn sports dancing. Other places that are loved by tourists: Sterlitamak, Oktyabrskoye and especially Kumertau - are famous for their recreation parks with relatively inexpensive attractions, beautiful green spaces and clean alleys and lawns.

Baikal

Holidays on Lake Baikal with children are a great opportunity to stand out from the crowd and connect with nature. The amazing pristine beauty and harmony of this region leaves no one indifferent. The level of physical fitness for a trip to Lake Baikal does not matter. Leisurely walks along the lake shore, swimming, fishing, evening gatherings around the fire will bring no less pleasure than covering long walking routes.

The water in Lake Baikal warms up slowly, so there may not be an opportunity to swim. It depends on your luck with the weather. It is changeable here even in summer.

It is often hot during the day and cool at night. The thermometer can drop even below +10 °C. Therefore, when going to Baikal, you should put warm clothes in your suitcase. The part of the lake called the Small Sea is more suitable for swimming for children. It warms up better.

If the child is still small, it is better to postpone the trip to the lake. But schoolchildren will return from it greatly impressed. The best option is to purchase a combined tour or drive your own car. This will allow you to explore several places, staying in each for 2-3 days.

To prevent a vacation on Lake Baikal from blowing up the family budget, it is better to stay in campsites. Their amenities are minimal, but low prices more than compensate for this drawback. You can bring your own tent or rent it. Its cost is about 200 rubles. per day.

A visit to the nerpinarium or the Baikal Museum, which is located in Listvyanka, will add to your impressions. Children will be interested in a tour of the Circum-Baikal Railway. This is an exciting journey, during which short stops are provided, allowing you to explore even more of the sights of Lake Baikal.

Seliger

You don't have to travel far to get to Seliger. This amazingly beautiful lake is located on the Valdai Hills, in the territory between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Clean air and dense forest surrounding the lake, golden sandy beaches, silence and tranquility of Seliger will give you peace, harmonize your thoughts and feelings and make you feel very relaxed.

Children here have fun riding bicycles, taking pony or horseback rides, and playing outdoor games. Boat rental is available. Fishing lovers will love lakes Valgo and Serminok. The water in them is crystal clear.

Seliger is a place where you can relax your soul and body. The impression of it will not be complete without visiting ancient churches and museums of wooden architecture. Children will be surprised that they are in the open air.

Tourists on Seliger are accommodated in recreation centers. There are many of them here, but it is better to book places well in advance of your trip. So the chances of getting a budget room are higher. The lower threshold of prices for accommodation is 650-1000 rubles. per day per room. If the difficulties of camping life do not frighten you, you can also stay in a tent, pitching it on the shore of the lake next to other tourists.

There are many interesting places to go on vacation in the summer with small children or older schoolchildren. In order for a vacation to bring a lot of positive emotions to each family member, you need to take into account their interests and the age of the child. A summer vacation can be inexpensive, but one that you will definitely want to repeat. You just need to approach its planning wisely.

I remember this joke: Summer has finally come to Russia: you can wear a summer fur coat, a summer hat and summer felt boots. As sad as it is, today this joke has become partly a reality for us.

But summer has always been the time that we all really look forward to! Summer holidays are finally coming for children, and many adults take vacation at this time. And for the most part, everyone dreams of finally going to the seaside!

Therefore, today we will talk to you about which countries are good to relax in the summer, and which countries it is usually better not to go to at this time.

But in any case, when making the final choice, one must take into account the unstable political situation in the world and the vagaries of the weather!

HIGH AND LOW SEASONS

But first, I would like to say a few words about such concepts as “high season” and “low season”. And is a season always good and not a season always bad?

In fact, all these concepts are conditional! In general, both of these concepts came to us from the professional environment of tour operators, hotels and air carriers. In the tourism industry as such, it is customary to divide everything into “high” and “low” seasons. But this division says more about the profitability of tour operators at a particular time of the year than about whether it is a bad or good time to travel.

  • High season is a time of increased demand for travel to any region or country. Firstly, this is due to the fact that at this moment there are good climatic conditions and secondly, at such a time the period of holidays or vacations most likely begins. The advantages are excellent weather, you can swim in the warm sea, enjoy the sights and no rain or hurricane will spoil our holiday. Cons: a lot of people and high prices for tours, hotels, flights during this period.
  • The low season, on the contrary, is characterized by reduced demand. Most tourists study and work during this period, and the weather in the region becomes not very favorable. But during the off-season, prices go down, there are fewer people, and we can relax calmly and inexpensively. When going to countries where the rainy season is in full swing, we must understand that we can find beautiful weather where the rains will be short-lived and fall mainly at night. So disgusting, with wind, dirty sea and downpours, because of which we will have to spend our entire vacation in a hotel! And when going to regions where typhoons and hurricanes are possible at this time, we risk being left without rest at all! Therefore, during such a period, it is better to take out travel insurance in advance.

Malaysia is almost the only country in the world where it is hot and has bright sunshine all year round. There is no division into seasons as such, so it is very comfortable here both in summer and winter. The only negative circumstance may be high humidity.

The best solution for a summer holiday in Malaysia is a trip to the islands of the South China Sea (Tioman, Borneo, Redang, Perkhetian). Summer is a great time for a beach holiday and diving here. You can visit Redang or Perhentian, because in winter these islands are practically closed to visitors, but the nature and richness of the underwater world are worth coming here.

But it’s better not to go to Penang and Langkawi, which are located in the Indian Ocean in the summer. At this time, there is a lot of rainfall in this part of the country! But the main danger of holidaying here in summer comes from jellyfish!

Popular destinations: Tioman, Borneo Island, Perhetian Islands, Redang

This is a big country where everyone will find something for themselves: huge cities and national parks, magnificent Florida and unforgettable Hawaii, never-sleeping Las Vegas and attractive Los Angeles.

Summer in the USA is best spent on the ocean, no matter the Pacific or Atlantic. It will be very good both there and there! And California, Florida and Hawaii are generally the best places to vacation in this country!

15.Singapore

City-country of the 22nd century! It is here that the famous entertainment island of Sentosa is located, as well as Singapore's beaches. Singapore's climate is very similar to neighboring Malaysia and Indonesia. The temperature stays at approximately the same level all year round. But the weather in summer is considered the hottest of the year! Holidays here during this period are suitable for those who are not afraid of the sweltering heat. June is considered the hottest month. In July there are tropical rains, but they are very short-lived. If you do not have problems with your heart and blood vessels, then you can safely come to Singapore in the summer.

16.Tunisia

This is a country where Arabic flavor and European service are intertwined. Here you can see both the golden sands of the Sahara and the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. In summer it is very hot and dry here. And if the heat is easier to bear on the coast, then it’s better not to venture into the desert - the heat there is simply unbearable! The most comfortable of the summer months is June. In July, the temperature exceeds 35 degrees, but at the same time all the beaches of Tunisia are simply crowded with tourists and prices reach their peak. But the hottest month is August. Sometimes the temperature exceeds +50. Another disadvantage is that at this time jellyfish swim to the shores of the country. A jellyfish sting in Tunisia should not cause any particular horror - although it is painful, it is not at all fatal. True, the scar will only disappear months later. Fortunately, such a concentration of these inhabitants of the Mediterranean Sea does not occur every year or even every day! But you need to follow the news!

17.Turkey

One of the most popular countries among our tourists. The choice of resorts is quite large, and the prices are very reasonable. Summer here is also considered a holiday season. June is still quite comfortable and prices have not yet started to rise. The hottest months come in July and August. And at this time the temperature can reach +40. But despite this, the cost of some resorts at this time is still high!

Turkey is considered a secular state, but the tradition of traveling after the holy Muslim holiday of Ramadan is alive here just as in the UAE, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Jordan. During Lent, many institutions, cafes and transport operate part-time. Immediately after the end of Lent, regardless of religion, everyone goes to rest. At this time, hotel prices are rising, air tickets are sold out in advance, and the beaches are crowded. Ramadan dates change every year!

France is the city of love - Paris, this is the famous Cote d'Azur, this is a country of beautiful landscapes and romance! In summer, France is warm and comfortable. It's time to head to the French Riviera or the Atlantic coast. The weather in Paris is quite comfortable, and at this time the French Disneyland extends its opening hours until 22:00.

Holidays in France in the summer are very popular and prices are already quite high starting from June! July is the high season and is especially popular due to various festivals and the start of sales. In August, cold weather begins on the shores of the Atlantic and especially in Normandy. But the Cote d'Azur is still full of tourists. By the end of summer, winemaking holidays begin and this is an excellent occasion to taste this noble drink.

19.Croatia

This small country is located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. But despite its modest size, there is always something to see here: the picturesque Alps, ancient castles, natural attractions and thermal springs, as well as beautiful beaches. Very picturesque coastal part of Central and Southern Dalmatia! Thanks to the beautiful ridges of the Dinaric Mountains and pine forests stretching along the seashore for hundreds of kilometers, a holiday here will be remembered for a long time.

Summers here are quite hot, but since the climate here is dry, it is tolerated quite easily. It is very nice here in June, but in July it gets hot. In August it becomes much more comfortable. Therefore, at this time there are quite a lot of tourists and consistently high prices.

Popular resorts: Istria peninsula and Kvarner coast, Central and southern Dalmatia, Dubrovnik, etc.

20.Montenegro

Summer in Montenegro is hot but dry.

Vacations here at the beginning of Junethere are a lot of Europeans, but the prices are low. The air warms up to +28 - +30 degrees, and the sea only warms up to + 18 - +19 degrees. July and August are the peak season here and the temperature exceeds +30. the weather is great, the sea is beautiful, but prices rise significantly!

Popular resorts: Budva, Becici, Ulcinj, Herceg Novi, Tivat

1.Bahamas

The Bahamas are a symbol of luxurious and fabulous life. White sand and warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean correspond to our idea of a paradise vacation! But even heaven has a downside.

The wet season begins here in summer. Humidity reaches 100%, and the heat becomes simply unbearable. And even though tropical showers sometimes do not occur very often and mostly at night, it is terribly stuffy here. And also, although rarely, hurricanes still happen here.

Yes, prices are slightly reduced at this time. But still, people with poor health (especially those who have heart and lung problems) definitely shouldn’t go here.

2.Vietnam

During the summer months, the rainy season comes to Vietnam. Heavy rains are accompanied by unbearable heat and too high humidity.

It is clear that due to the large extent of Vietnam from north to south, the climate in different parts of the country is different. In summer you can go to the northern part of the country: Ha Long, Cat Ba. Although it will be quite hot and humid here, sometimes the temperature can reach +40

You can also go to Central Vietnam (most of the beach resorts are concentrated here). Thanks to its pleasant climate and sandy beaches, this place is always very popular among tourists. Here from February to August it is quite clear, rain is rare, and the temperature is +30…+35 °C.

In the south of Vietnam (from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet), the period June-August is considered the rainiest months. And it’s better not to come here at this time.

3.Jordan

Jordan experiences sweltering heat during the summer months. And it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to visit the famous Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. In summer you will feel like you are on a hot frying pan here. Wandering through ancient ruins in July-August in forty-degree heat is not only exhausting, but also dangerous to health.

On the hot coast of the Red Sea, the temperature reaches +38, but the sea breeze helps a little. But in August the water warms up to +28 and does not cool at all!

4.India

Indian summers are very humid and hot! Sometimes the temperature can reach +50 degrees! In July-August, central India is flooded with heavy rains, which often wash out roads. The popular tourist city of Jodhpur floods almost every summer. In addition, due to rainfall, rivers can overflow their banks, which means that many cities on the banks of the Ganges - for example, Rishikesh or Varanasi - simply cannot be reached. There is also nothing to do in the beach resorts and famous Goa! It's cloudy and windy here! There is constant humidity, heavy rainfall and the sea is constantly stormy. Although at this time you can relax here for very little money! But will you want to?

5.Israel

A country with a thousand-year history. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the Red, Mediterranean and Dead Seas always remain attractive to tourists.

But summer in Israel is low season. The heat here is stifling and the temperature approaches +40. At such a time, even the sea is not refreshing, and it’s better to forget about excursions altogether! This is the time when it is better not to come here even for a beach holiday.

6. Cambodia

Cambodia's climate is tropical monsoon, hot and humid. The rainy season begins in May-June and lasts until September. The rainiest and windiest months are July, August and September. However, Cambodian rains are not a prolonged drizzle, but always short showers. And then the sun comes out again.

Holidays in Cambodia in the summer turn out to be more tourist than seaside. It is better to postpone a trip to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) until late autumn or winter. But if you are determined to see the temples at this time, you will see that there are significantly fewer tourists here, but there is enough rain.

7.China

Traditionally, it is believed that the best time to travel to China is spring and autumn. In summer, in large cities it can be too dusty and stuffy, and in the south it can be humid and excessively hot. Although at this time they advise going to the mountains - it’s good there!

As for the famous Hainan Island, which has its own special microclimate, it can be quite nice there in the summer. True, you may not see the sun due to constant cloudiness and frequent rain. But depending on your luck, the second half of summer is officially considered the rainy season. So you can get into either abnormally dry and clear weather or quite traditional cloudy weather. So, at your own risk!

8.Caribbean countries: Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, etc.

From May to July, the Caribbean coast, Cancun, and the Riviera Maya are quite hot and humid. And in the resorts of the Dominican Republic and Cuba, the feeling of humidity during these months is much softer than in Mexico, due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean.

But August and September are peak hurricane season in the Caribbean. It affects many countries: from Cuba and Mexico to small islands like Curacao and Grenada. Strong hurricanes can result in real natural disasters! So during this period, it is better to refrain from traveling to this region!

9.Mauritius

Summer in Mauritius is considered winter. The air temperature drops to +23…+25°C, and the water temperature to 20-22°C. At the same time, strong winds blow on the island, which provokes waves on the ocean. It often rains. However, this is the season of big discounts! During this time, you can stay in excellent hotels and save 50%.

The most comfortable summer month is August; at this time it hardly rains.

10.Maldives

To see cloudless blue skies like those on advertising postcards, it is best to go to the Maldives during the peak season, mid-March or mid-December. But still, the Maldives is positioned as a year-round vacation. Due to the proximity of the equator, seasonal variations are small here. But at the same time, here in the summer there is still a period of southwest monsoons. Underwater visibility becomes lower and the likelihood of rain and strong winds increases. And if you came to these paradise islands just to sunbathe to your heart's content on the beach, rain pouring down for several hours can upset you.

11.UAE

It’s worth thinking a hundred times about vacationing in the UAE in the summer, because the summer in this country is incredibly hot. And only camels can withstand it! Be prepared for the sea to warm up to +38°C at this time of year and be as warm as tea. As for the air temperature, it will generally warm up to +50°C. Locals spend this time of year in numerous shopping centers and water parks.

Also, don't forget about the holy month of Ramadan! With his arrival, you will have to be more modest in your habits and emotions.

12.Seychelles

It's always comfortable in the Seychelles. But in summer the weather on the paradise islands is not ideal: the sky is cloudy, so don’t expect to bring back a lot of bright photos. The main problem for tourists is strong winds and rough seas. Sometimes swimming can be dangerous; an hour-long boat ride can be a real pain, not to mention traveling between islands by ferry.

13.Thailand

The rainy season in Thailand is not nearly as bad as it is made out to be. But if you plan to spend the whole week on the beach under the sun, you will have to be disappointed: showers do happen. The degree of humidity depends on the location: some resorts have only cloudy skies and rain in the morning, others have knee-deep water. The resorts of the Andaman Sea are heaviest in the summer (especially in August): the islands of Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi, Lanta. But in Pattaya, Koh Chang and Koh Samui, from June to August it is often sunny and dry. And if tropical downpours occur, they occur mostly in the evening and are not very long.

14.Philippines

The rainy season in the Philippines starts in June and ends in November. Heavy downpours make the sea very dirty - you will have to forget about diving. In July-August, typhoons come: and there is a high risk of spending your entire vacation in a hotel or getting stuck at the airport due to a canceled flight. It rains the least in the summer on the island of Bohol, but in August it’s hard there too: the sky is filled with lead and it’s constantly drizzling.

15.Sri Lanka

Holidays in Sri Lanka are, in principle, year-round, and it’s great to have a rest, while saving quite a lot of money, precisely when there is no special rush. But at the height of the rainy season, monsoon winds make it uncomfortable to stay at the most popular resorts in the southwestern part of the island. The waves, which can hardly be called small anyway, become even larger. Rains at this time are quite frequent, but not long. At the same time, the air temperature rarely drops below +26 degrees.

But the eastern coast of Sri Lanka (Beaches near the village of Trincomalee: Nilaveli and Upuveli) is quite suitable for a summer holiday. And only in August the waves begin to intensify here.

But it’s better not to climb into the mountains - rain often washes away dirt roads, making it difficult to move. And you most likely won’t be able to climb Adam’s Peak!

A COUPLE MORE COUNTRIES FOR FINAL

Of course, there are still many countries and even continents that we haven’t talked about today! This includes South America - just a huge continent and the climate in different parts of it is completely different. For example, summer is the best time to go to the Amazon jungle of Brazil and visit Iguazu Falls. But in Argentina and Chile the ski season is just beginning. Thanks to the longest mountain system on earth - the Andams - these countries have become the owners of some of the best slopes in the world for skiing.

You can also go skiing in New Zealand. Australia can also please you with its ski slopes. But, at the same time, in Tasmania and on the southern shores, at this time of year, there is absolutely nothing to do - it’s quite cold and rainy here, but visit Sydney, the central part of the country and the Great Barrier Reef - please! If you want to swim, then go to Darwin.

Fairly pleasant weather sets in at this time in Canada. This country is characterized by moderate summers with minimal temperature fluctuations. For tourists, summer Canada offers visits to various natural attractions: Niagara Falls, the Rocky Mountains, Johnstone Strait and many other beautiful places.

During the summer months it will be just as wonderful in Austria, Germany, Norway, Great Britain and other European countries. This is a great time to go to the mountains, cruise or excursion.

In general, where you go is up to YOU and YOU alone! So have a great holiday everyone!

What to see and do so that your trip doesn't put a big dent in your wallet. You need to decide in advance what your priorities and budget are, whether you want to go on excursions, engage in outdoor activities or visit cultural attractions.

9 best places for a beach holiday with the motto “pick up and fly away”

Turkey

In one trip to Turkey you can visit Europe and Asia, swim in the four seas, find yourself in the Land of Beautiful Horses, find a real treasure in an oriental bazaar and lose the sense of time and space on the travertine terraces of Pamukkale.

There are more than enough amazing beaches in Turkey: get to know the seven best according to a local resident or create your own top. Gentle waves and golden sands come with vibrant summer entertainment. Just don’t forget that the sea in the north warms up later, so connoisseurs of ancient ruins rather than beaches often go to the Black Sea coast of Turkey. The Sea of Marmara is more conducive to an active (or vice versa - as you prefer!) beach holiday, but the water before the beginning of June is still too invigorating. The generally recognized “sun bath” of Turkey is, of course, the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea in the south. Here, the infrastructure of eternal summer is thought out to the smallest detail, and everyone will find a place to their liking - some in a sun lounger, some on the crest of a wave. For beginner divers, the Aegean Sea coast is ideal, extreme sports enthusiasts can enjoy rafting on mountain rivers, and romantics can enjoy a yacht trip, which at night can result in a foam party right on the deck. But there are also water parks that easily blur the line between children and adults! Champions of splashing emotions include Dedeman in Bodrum, Aqua Fantasy in Izmir and Water Planet in Alanya. And when you get tired of unbridled fun, welcome to the hammam for peace and renewal.

What about the visa? The Republic of Turkey is hospitable to residents of Russia: you can vacation in the country without a visa and fees for up to 60 days, and to stay for another 3 months, you just need to pay 149 Turkish lira.

South Korea

Still want to relax “not like everyone else”? Then head to South Korea, framed on three sides by the beaches of the Yellow, Japanese and East China Seas.

Residents of Seoul love to sunbathe on the east coast of the country, especially since it is so easy to combine a beach holiday here with health care and cultural experiences. The city of Sokcho, for example, is famous for the Cheoksan spa resort with hot springs, the Seoraksan Mountain Nature Park, as well as the three-story Hyangseongsaji Pagoda of the 8th century and the Buddhist monastery of Sinheungsa of the 18th century. People go to another popular South Korean resort - Gangneung - not only for a golden tan, but also to admire the bizarre Muryn gorge and Guryong Waterfall, which looks like it came out of a classic Chinese miniature.

The peak of solar activity in South Korea is observed on the tangerine island of Jeju and on the “cow island” of Udo, 3.5 km to the east (Koreans see a cow on the map lying down to rest, hence the name). Every conceivable beach activity is included, but crowds of tourists are also here. If this is a big minus for you, take a closer look at the snow-white beaches of the Yellow Sea in the southwest of the country. The country's official tourism website (in Russian) will help you navigate the main resorts of South Korea.

What about the visa? You can enjoy a beach holiday in South Korea for at least 60 days in a row - and you don’t need a visa! But what you need is a valid passport and ease of mind.

Maldives

What unites Anastasia Volochkova, David Beckham, divers and newlyweds? Of course, love for the Maldives. Anomalous activity discovered at this year-round resort: life-changing!

In the Maldives, it is equally wonderful to explore the underwater world with scuba diving and admire the shades of the sky with an exotic cocktail. Here you can still find a secluded beach and corners of untouched nature, even despite the abundance of luxury hotels, romantic villas, pretentious restaurants and spas. In fact, there are so many hotels on the islands that some don’t even have enough space on the shore.

The beaches of North Male Atoll are closest to the airport. Ari Atoll is famous for its calm sea, convenient access to coral reefs and proximity to marine reserves. 130 km south of Male, on the snow-white sands and clear waters of Miimu Atoll, giant sea turtles are registered, and on the southernmost islands of the Maldives - Addu Atoll - you can occasionally get a certificate of crossing the equator.

What about the visa? The gates of heaven open easily: a free visa to the Maldives for 30 days is issued to Russians right at Male airport.

Cyprus

Lying by the pool, knowing that two steps away are ruins with a thousand-year history, is impossible / doubly pleasant (underline as appropriate). Aphrodite herself must have endowed this island with the ability to make people fall in love with her.

To reinterpret the saying, we can say about Cyprus: as many people, as many beaches. For example, Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa is created for youth parties and resort dating, and the beach of Fig Tree Bay in the same Ayia Napa is ideal for relaxing with children. The quiet picturesque village of Protaras is also famous for its excellent conditions for a family holiday, and there is also an elite Sunrise with luxury hotels and Konnos Bay, which will appeal to lovers of a secluded holiday. Don’t forget about the obligatory point of the program - lose a couple of years by swimming in Aphrodite’s Bay between Limassol and Paphos. By the way, they say that lovers who swim together around the rocks of the goddess of love will never part.

If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, it's worth thrilling yourself on the uncompromising attractions of Water World or diving to the sunken ship. And the best way to wash down your impressions is with the royal Commandaria wine!

Photo: Ulrich Kersting, CC BY-NC-SA 2.0

What about the visa? Obtaining a single-entry electronic pro-visa for Cyprus takes only one day. With it you can sunbathe under the hot Cypriot sun for up to 90 days in a row. If you plan to enter Cyprus several times within six months, applying for a multiple-entry visa at the consulate is also easy.

Montenegro

On the coast of Montenegro, in addition to the warm, clear sea from June to October, you will find medieval fortresses, Venetian palaces, Christian monasteries and Turkish aqueducts. Near the town of Herceg Novi, in the resort of Igalo, you can pamper yourself with spa treatments with healing mud. It’s worth devoting at least a couple of days to the continental part of Montenegro: inhale the aromas of a pine forest in the stunning Durmitor National Park with crystal lakes and the Tara River gorge, or get out to Lake Skadar, along the banks of which ancient fortresses and monasteries are scattered.

Diving, rafting, trekking - whatever attracts you during your summer holidays, the Montenegrin resorts of the Bay of Kotor and the Adriatic are at your service. Choose a beach you like - and go ahead, relax alone with nature!

What about the visa? If you are traveling to Montenegro for less than a month, you will not need a visa.

Abkhazia

Down with language barriers! You can safely travel to hospitable and in every sense warm Abkhazia with children without knowing foreign languages and even without a foreign passport. The only thing: be careful not to accidentally end up on Georgian territory.

However, you are unlikely to want to leave Abkhazia at all: the pebble beaches of Gagra, Pitsunda and Gudauta are clean, serene and uncrowded, time has no power over the beauty of Lake Ritsa, the number of balneological boarding houses is only growing, and salmon with trout and horse mackerel with sturgeon in local rivers and the Black the sea is not translated.

The thirst of hunters for cultural impressions will be quenched by New Athos with the famous monastery and Sukhumi with Bagrat Castle, the Kelasur Wall and the ancient botanical garden. And there will definitely be no problems with satisfying your appetite in the region where mamalyga, mint cheese ashvchapan and adjika were invented. And you know what, it’s still worth learning one word in the Abkhaz language: say “itabup” - “thank you” to the locals - they will be pleased!

What about the visa? To enter Abkhazia, Russians do not need either a visa or a foreign passport (an ordinary one is sufficient). Fly to Adler, from where it is only 10 km along the Psou River to the Abkhazian border. At border control you will need to take out compulsory accident insurance in the amount of 30,000 rubles. The insurance premium upon entry for 1 day is 15 rubles, and if you stay longer, 10 rubles for each day of stay in Abkhazia. Israel

Do you feel that both your soul and body need healing? Then Israel is just what the doctor ordered. Maybe local attractions are a placebo, but they still work!

Sea adventures in Israel can begin already in reckless and party-oriented Tel Aviv. The local Mediterranean coast has all the conditions for sports recreation: on Gordon Beach, opposite the Sheraton Hotel, you can play tennis and volleyball, and Hilton Beach is popular with surfers. Life is in full swing on the port beach of Hof HaMetzitzim, about which even a movie was made: here you will find a colorful market, trendy bars, and designer boutiques - all within walking distance from a beach umbrella. And the calmest beaches in Tel Aviv are Alma in the south, near ancient Jaffa, and Banana Beach, where locals like to relax with the whole family, but it never feels crowded.

The Red Sea is warmer than the Mediterranean, so the real resort splendor of Israel is revealed in Eilat. The local pearl is the coral beach of Hof Almog. In its southern part, closer to Egyptian Taba, kite surfers catch the wind, and the north of the beach is created for dives that you will tell your grandchildren about.

If you want to forget about your problems and feel complete peace, go to the Dead Sea. You will hardly learn to walk on water, but you can try yourself in the role of Benjamin Button: rejuvenation at the local salt and mud resorts is guaranteed. On the road, here are a few more ideas on what to combine with a beach holiday in Israel.

What about the visa? Residents of Russia can enter Israel without a visa as much as they want, the main thing is to spend no more than 90 days in the country in total over six months. Just make sure that your passport is valid for 6 months from the date of arrival, and prepare documents that may be useful at the border.

Morocco

So far, the Russians have tried only two Moroccan resorts - Agadir and Essaouira, both on the shores of the Atlantic. If you’re not too lazy to drive 160 km to the south, you’ll take such a selfie against the backdrop of the red rocks of Legzira that you’ve never had so many “likes” before. And if you are ready for more for a rare experience, go to Dakhla. The water in the ocean here is +25 °C all year round, and instead of crowds of tourists there are rare monk seals and a flock of surfers who compare Foum Labouir beach with Hawaii. Here you can have great fishing or rent an SUV and go deeper into Western Sahara to experience the life of real nomads - such a vacation will not be forgotten! And to save money on your vacation, take a look at the newly opened resorts north of Agadir - Taghazout, Mazagan and Lixous.

There are also secluded beaches on the Mediterranean coast of Morocco. Take a closer look at the picturesque carved strip between Tangier and Al Hoceima: the sea here is gentle, and many beaches, along with quiet fishing villages, are surrounded by paradise greenery. If you prefer an all-inclusive holiday, you'll love the new Tamuda Bay resort near Tetouan and Saidia in Berkane, close to the Algerian border. Opposite Spanish Andalusia, by the way, lies the huge tourist complex Mediterrania-Saidia with a yacht club and golf course.

In addition to a beach holiday, it is worth visiting the capital of Morocco Rabat (the minimum program is the Royal Palace and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V), Marrakech (what will captivate you - the Old Town "Medina" or the new Ville Nouvelle district?), Casablanca (maybe you will hear echoes of cinematic passions ) and Fese (especially good for leisurely walks through the gardens and a cup of mint tea in a cute cafe). We also recommend getting lost in the blue labyrinths of mountainous Chefchaouen, which was included in the top of the brightest cities in the world according to Skyscanner. Bonus for fans of “Game of Thrones” and other epic film masterpieces: some scenes with the Mother of Dragons were filmed in the medieval ksar of Ait Ben Haddou.

What about the visa? Russian citizens can vacation in Morocco for up to 90 days in a row without a visa, but their passport must be valid until the end of the trip. On the plane you will need to fill out a migration card.

Madagascar

“Well, I asked, don’t bother me when I’m dreaming. If I’m all in the astral plane, don’t interfere!” - striped Marty said to his friend the lion Alex. Make sure that the cartoon island of Madagascar really exists, and no one will forbid you to make your dreams come true here.

During your holiday on the fourth largest island in the world, you will be accompanied by motley lemurs, motley geckos, beak-breasted turtles, panther chameleons, pharaoh mice and - now attention! - hands ah-ah. If you think that these are all the surprises of nature that await you in Madagascar, that’s not the case. Landscapes on the island reserve follow each other, as if in a kaleidoscope: you’ve just been walking among the baobab trees, when suddenly you find yourself near a rice field or a dormant volcano. To one side is a sun-dried valley, turn your head and in front of you are evergreen mangroves. Here is the stone forest of Tsingy de Bemaraha, here are the graceful orchids of the Montagne d'Ambre Park, and here is the fabulous azure coast with white sand.

The west and north of Madagascar are perfect for a beach holiday in summer: precipitation is rare here, the water off the coast of Morondava never gets cooler than +25 ºС, and on the island of Nosy Be there is always saturated humid air, heated to a comfortable +26-28 ºС. If you have a hard time with humidity, go to the resorts of the Anakao Peninsula in the southwest: here the climate is semi-desert with a fresh breeze. On the famous island of Sainte-Marie (Nosy-Boraha, also known as Ile Sainte-Marie), sunny weather most often lasts from late August to December (in July-September you can also watch whales). If you travel further south along the eastern coast, to the coral beach of Fulpoint (Mahavelona), keep in mind that it is safe to swim only in the hotel area: behind the reefs there are real sharks. Prices, it should be noted, are also steep, especially in the south of the city - do not hesitate to bargain.

What about the visa? A 30-day visa is issued upon arrival and does not cost a penny. If you want to spend up to 90 days on the island, a single or multiple-entry visa will be issued to you at the Embassy of Madagascar in Moscow for 77 €. published
