Orly Airport: how to get to Paris

As with Charles de Gaulle Airport, there are many ways to get from Orly to Paris.

1. Electric trains RER C and RER B

1.1. RER C

First of all, you can get from this Paris airport to the city center by commuter trains - it's fast, easy and cheap. RER C connects Orly with Pont de Rungis station. To get to the city, take the Paris par le train bus to Pont de Rungis station, where you can take the GOTA or NORA train in the direction of Pontoise or Montigny Beauchamp. Conversely, if you need to get from Paris to Orly airport, you need to take a train going in the directions Massy - Palaiseau or Pont de Rungis, and then change to a bus that will take you to the airport.

3.3. Buses No. 183 and 91.10

Train RER (line B)

The fastest way to travel from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the city center is to take the regional train line RER B. At the airport trains stop at two stations:

  • Charles de Gaulle – 1 (terminals No. 1 and No. 3)
  • Charles de Gaulle – 2 (terminal no. 2)

These stations can be reached by following the RER signs. Electric trains go to the center of Paris and its suburbs.

Ticket to the station Paris–Chatelet les Halles, where you can change to the metro, costs 9.75 euros, you can buy it at the box office or in a special machine. Travel time from the airport to – 35 minutes.

Trains run from 04:55 to 23:40 with an interval of 10-20 minutes. You can't get to Paris by train at night.

From Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris you can cheaply travel by several types of buses:

Le Bus Direct

Tram No. 7

Tram line 7 connects Orly airport with Louis Aragon station (line 7) on the outskirts of the city. The tram runs from 05:30 to 00:25 with an interval of 6-20 minutes.

Travel time is about half an hour, but you can get off the tram earlier at the La Fraternell stop and transfer to the RER C train. The ticket costs 1.8 euros.

Train

From Orly airport you can take a bus or an automated metro to the RER system (underground and overground trains), and use it to get to the center of Paris.

RER (line B)

Antony station on the RER B line in Paris and Orly airport are connected by the Orlyval automated train.

Travel time is 6 minutes to Antony station and 35 minutes if you go to the center of Paris (including transfers to the RER).

Orlyval runs daily from 06:00 to 23:35 with an interval of 4-7 minutes. The train departs from stop No. 6, Entrance K of the South Terminal and Entrance A of the West Terminal.

To get to the city center from Antony station, you need to go in the direction of Mitry-Clay or Charles de Gaulle Airport stations. Combined ticket price (Orlyval + RER): 12.05 euros; a ticket for the Orlyval train alone costs 9.30 euros.

RER (line C)

The Go C Paris bus from Orly airport takes you to Pont de Rungis station on the Orange Line (RER C line). It runs from 04:34 to 00:55 with an interval of 15-25 minutes.

Travel time is 10 minutes by bus and 25 minutes by RER train (to the center of Paris). A combined ticket (bus + RER train) costs 6.25 euros.

The bus stops at Orly Airport are located at Exit C of the South Terminal (stop no. 5) and Exit C of the West Terminal (stop no. 7).

  • If you are traveling from the airport to Paris, at Antony station, take the NORA or GOTA train in the direction of Pontoise or Montigny Beauchamp stations.
  • If you are getting from Paris to Orly airport, you need trains in the direction of “Massy – Palaiseau” or “Pont de Rungis”.

Beauvais Airport: how to get to Paris

Transfer or taxi

How to get from Beauvais airport to Paris cheaply? You can get there by Navettes buses - they depart at intervals of 15-25 minutes after the arrival of each flight. True, it is impossible to get to Paris at night this way.

How to get to Paris
