Another Russian film that left nothing but a feeling of wasted time. A young guy comes to an island in the northern and Arctic ocean for the summer holidays to do an internship at a local polar station. There is only one guy living in this polar station. Experienced polar explorer. Soon this guy receives a message via radio that an accident has occurred with the wife and child of this guy, a polar explorer, in Moscow. And in fact, throughout the entire film, this young goon just can’t decide to tell everything to the polar explorer. In the end, when he tells everything due to the will of circumstances, the polar explorer takes up his gun and begins to run after the poor guy all over the island.

The film was shot by Alexey Popogrebsky. Director, from the cohort of our young authors who are trying to make films about real life in our country. “How I Spent This Summer” is only his second film so far. I personally really liked the first film “Simple Things”. It was a light and unpretentious story about the relationship between a doctor and his elderly patient. Alas, already in his second film this very lightness completely evaporated. “How I Spent This Summer” is a much more author’s film with claims to the laurels of Tarkovsky and Antonioni. Most of the time we are shown different beauties of the northern island. The director naturally pays especially much attention to the ocean, which personally just begins to infuriate me. I don't watch our modern films very often. But it so happened that in Zvyagintsev’s “Return” and in Lungin’s “Island” they are trying to charm me with beautiful views of the water surface. And in general, one gets the feeling that all these films are shot by the same cameraman.

Unfortunately for this picture, everything in our world is known in comparison. Over the short century of cinema, we have already managed to film a lot of great films, and if I had not watched the films of Tarkovsky, Sokurov, Herman, then probably “How I Spent This Summer” would have seemed very exciting and deep to me. But today it was simply boring for me to watch this film. What the director wants to say becomes clear almost immediately. As they say, there’s only three kopecks worth of sense here. A young dunce, out of cowardice, commits terrible acts that lead to a tragic ending. But from this story, Popogrebsky is trying to torture almost the second Stalker. But the trouble is that Popogrebsky is never Tarkovsky. Therefore, for the entire two hours we watch, one continuous thing, meaning nothing, not skillfully presented and, most importantly, completely unnecessary here, looking for deep ones, depths where there are none. If the Popogrebsky film had been shortened by one and a half times, due to meaningless scenes, it would have been much more watchable. The only thing that might be of interest here is that the action takes place on an island in the northern and Arctic ocean. And in general, the way of life that the characters lead in this place, in my opinion, is the most interesting and educational thing in this film.

Also, a couple of the main actors do not save the situation, but quite the opposite. After the not bad performance of Sergei Puskepalis in “Simple Things,” Popogrebsky decided to make him no more, no less, a folk actor, like Leonov, Papanov, Burkov. This is exactly the type he is trying to embody here. On the surface he is a simple, good-natured Russian peasant, but inside he is a wise man. But compared to the above-mentioned masters, Puskepalis clearly lacks either acting talent or, most importantly, charisma. Well, the young actor Grigory Dobrygin is not at all memorable here. His hero is very pale, despite the fact that in the plot he has the main, and, moreover, very characteristic role, full of reflection and internal tension, which this same Dobrygin clearly does not pull off.

In general, in all respects it’s a weak movie, but in the context of modern Russian cinema, I just can’t raise my hand to give it a very bad rating.

« HOW I SPENT SUMMER"

WALK SONIA

Ah, summer! Happy time. It's time for warm days sunny weather, fruits and vegetables.

I remember last summer with joy. I spent June and July with my great-grandmother Vera in the village. There I woke up very early. But it doesn’t work out any other way in the village. The day there begins with the first rooster crows. My grandmother had a large farm, and I tried to help her: watering the beds, cleaning the house, picking berries, weeding the garden. In our free time, my friend and his dad went fishing. We brought the catch home and fed the cats. I really liked it in the village. I learned a lot and had a good time!

And in August, my parents and I went to the Black Sea in the city of Sochi. I really like the sea! It is so warm and affectionate. I learned to swim, snorkeled and watched beautiful fish. Sun, sea, mountains - all this is unforgettable!

KHALIKOVA FARIDA

I love summer for its beauty and warmth. In summer everything is so beautiful: beautiful flowers, colorful butterflies, amazing insects.

I spent this summer fun and interesting. At the beginning of summer I went to Bashkiria. I swam in the lake and took part in Sabantui games. The visit to the Bird Park was very memorable. There I saw different birds and animals, rode in a carriage, walked along a suspension bridge. I'm looking forward to next summer!

CHERKASHINA DASHA

Summer...what a beautiful word! It was special for me this year because I moved to second grade and became more mature.

I spent the summer at the dacha, where I made many amazing discoveries. One morning I saw an amazing butterfly. She was flapping her huge yellow wings. The long mustache and proboscis were unusual shape. We learned that this is a migratory butterfly. And in nature there are amazing beetles whose abdomen glows green in the dark. At night, a family of hedgehogs came to our site: a mother, a father and a small cub. We laid out treats for them in advance, sat quietly and waited for them to appear. The largest hedgehog sat in the beds under the leaves and watched as the others ate. He was probably protecting his family. During the meal, the hedgehogs munched funny. After dinner, the friendly family went into the forest.

How much interesting things nearby! Just look more closely and the world will open to you in all its beauty and diversity.

And now it’s September, the beginning of the school year and new discoveries are ahead!

SHORNIKOV VLADISLAV

Many interesting things happened this summer. The most important thing is that we moved to Shchapovo. During the move, I helped my mother and took care of my sister Dasha. I met the guys and now I have many friends.

In the summer I visited different places. We also went to Ukraine. There I read until lunch, learned the multiplication tables, and when the heat subsided, we went swimming at the sea. I especially remember the trip to the Odessa Dolphinarium. We watched the show. Unusual artists performed: dolphins, whales, fur seals. I remember Umka. This is a Navy SEAL. It was very interesting! This is how I spent the summer.

NERSESSYAN AMALIA

I spent this summer on the Black Sea, where we went with the whole family: mom, dad, me and my little sister. The road to the sea is very long and tiring, but when I see it, all fatigue goes away. This year the sea was warm and clean. And one day it started to rain and jellyfish began to swim to the shore. I collected them in a bucket. In the evening we usually went for a walk along the embankment, admiring the sunset and the night sea. We ate ice cream and took pictures with different animals. One day we went on an excursion to the mountains. In the gorge of high and beautiful mountains a fast river flowed. The water in it was cold, but my mother allowed me to swim. There was so much joy and delight!

This summer was very fun and memorable! It's just a pity that it ended so quickly!

GRIGOROVICH SAVVA

I like summer very much! This summer my mother and I went to the zoo. There I saw flamingos, ducks, an elephant and many, many different animals. But most of all I liked the monkey. She is very funny! After the zoo we went to the planetarium, where we watched a film about black holes. It was a little scary!

Back in the summer, I often went fishing and caught fourteen crucian carp. Mom fried the fish and we ate it with pleasure. It was delicious!

Although there was a lot of entertainment in the summer, I did not forget about my studies: I read books and learned the multiplication table. It's a shame that summer is over so quickly!

IMIRZYAN ARMINA

I spent this summer in the village of Shchapovo. I was walking with my friends in the yard, we built a hut and played in it. The older girls taught me how to weave baubles and beaded jewelry. On weekends, my parents and brother and I went to the forest and to the river. We swam and collected shells. Then we ate on the shore and I went into the field to pick flowers. Mom showed me medicinal plants and told me how they are useful for humans. And when the weather was bad, I helped my mother around the house, I even came up with a fruit salad myself and called it “Fruit Explosion.” The rest of the time I studied with my brother (he needs to be prepared for school), I read him the books that were assigned to me for the summer. Summer is great!

GRECHUSHNIKOVA DIANA

I spent my holidays at sea in Feodosia. We went on vacation to Anna beaches in Koktebel and Sudak. I rode on the sea in a balloon, catamaran and on a motor ship. I saw dolphins and sea fish. In the evenings we walked around the city for a long time, buying souvenirs and gifts for friends. The weather was wonderful the entire holiday! I really enjoyed my vacation!

VINITSKY RADISLAV

I spent the summer with my grandmother in the village. I have a lot of friends there. With them I went into the forest to pick mushrooms and berries. We have a big river in our village. My grandmother and I went swimming and sunbathing, and my grandfather fished.

We also have a goat. Her name is Belka. My grandmother and I went to graze her in the meadow, and in the evening she gave us delicious milk. It's nice to be in the countryside in summer! It's a pity that the holidays ended quickly.

Writing such an essay is a mandatory stage in the education of any student. Your parents also faced the need to tensely recall the events of the past holidays, while trying to exclude from the essay those moments that the teacher would not approve of. This guide will help you write a good essay that is not overloaded with unnecessary details and does not reveal all the subtleties of your personal life.

Example of an essay on the topic “How I spent my summer”:

Step 1. Introduction

The first paragraph may not concern you personally at all; dedicate it to the summer. Write what a wonderful time it is, how sorry you are that it has passed, what a sunny and blooming time it was. The paragraph can be quite large, which will allow it to take up a significant part of the essay. At the end of the paragraph, you can add some phrase from the Russian classics - fortunately, only the lazy did not write about the summer season.

It is best to write your essay as a draft, and then rewrite it completely in a notebook - oddly enough, this will only save you time if you need to add or swap some phrases.

Step 2: A few sentences about the weather

Now you still have to split a little about what you did in the summer. You can write, for example, that at the beginning of the holidays you were at home, slept well, read a lot and went for a walk. The weather was good and sunny. In general, write more about the weather, sun or rain, temperature this summer - this will give your essay a summer atmosphere.

Step 3. Camping

Next write that after this it is time for active rest. This will be the main part of your essay; here you should write where you went on vacation. Sea, forest, mountains, other cities? Depending on the location, again focus more on describing nature. The sea is blue, warm, we swam a lot. The mountains are high and snowy, you learned mountaineering. You have made many friends in other cities. Write the truth, but try to use general phrases to avoid the teacher’s excessive attention to your creation - unless, of course, you have the exact opposite task.

Step 4. Rest in the city and in the country

If you haven’t gone anywhere at all, you’ll have to talk about how much you walked. Perhaps you were at the dacha? Tell us about the country house, vegetables in the garden and fishing in the nearby pond. Have you been to the city, rollerblading or cycling? Talk about it and how many friends have done it with you. If you did go on vacation, you can still add this information; it won’t be superfluous.

Step 5. Spending time on the computer

If you, like most modern schoolchildren, spent most of the summer at the computer, you can also write about this. But just a couple of phrases will be enough - that you used the Internet at the computer, communicated a lot, learned new interesting information and played educational games (after all, all games develop in one way or another).

Step 6. Final Paragraph

In conclusion, write that autumn is coming, and although you are a little sad that summer is over, you were looking forward to returning to school and meeting old friends and classmates. If this is completely untrue, write about the beauty of golden autumn and the fact that poets also sang about it. A quotation from a classic would also not hurt here, with which you can adequately complete your essay.

Essay “How I spent my summer holidays”

Plan
1. Goodbye school!
2. Hello summer:
a) holidays are rest;
b) love of travel;
c) alone with nature.
3. “I really want summer not to end.”

Each of us is waiting for summer. For many, summer is their favorite time of year, primarily because summer is the biggest vacation. Who doesn’t dream of sunbathing, swimming to their heart’s content, or maybe just taking a break from the hustle and bustle of school. As soon as the spring sun warms up, we are already making plans for the future on how we will spend the summer holidays. We all can't wait to finish school quickly and hear the last school bell. On the one hand, it’s sad to part with school friends for several months. But on the other hand, warmth, sun, good mood, the thought that we have a lot of free time and can walk as much as we want makes us so happy that we think only about one thing: that the holidays come quickly.

Guys spend their holidays differently. Some vacation with their parents at the seaside, others - with relatives in the village or at the dacha. Some stay at home. But no matter where we are, summer holidays are still a wonderful, unforgettable time. This is a vacation. The main thing is to spend this time usefully, so that you have something to remember for the next year. Some people think that in the summer you should definitely go somewhere far away from your hometown. Of course, we associate summer with warm sea, exotic nature. Who doesn’t want to soak up the sand, swim, and play in the waves! Some people like to relax away from the bustle of the city and go out of town, where they can swim in a clean river or lake, lie in the shade under a tree, and enjoy the singing of birds. During the summer holidays you can have a good rest at home. A river, a dacha, helping parents, walks in the park, picnics with friends... Is it possible to refuse this?

Among my friends there are many who love to travel. Visiting different cities and countries, people learn a lot of new and interesting things. I like to travel too. And if parents have the opportunity, we go to those cities that we have not yet been to. Our dream is to visit Prague and Paris. I know that this dream will come true, and we will wander the streets of Prague and admire the beautiful Paris. But we are sure that in our country there are also many places that cannot leave anyone indifferent. “The corner of Russia is dear to me - my kind father’s home,” wrote E. Sheveleva.

Probably, each of us has a favorite corner, a favorite place that we love to visit. My family and I often go out of town in the summer and relax in nature. Nature for us is not only a place of relaxation, but also a source of inspiration and strength. Imagine a hot July day. Who wants to sit in an apartment in this weather? So the whole family is heading out of town for a few days. We relax, swim, listen to birdsong, the murmur of a stream, and admire the flowers. It is generally difficult to imagine summer without flowers. And flowers are always a holiday for a person. With them joy and good mood come to us.

“I really want summer not to end...” Have you noticed that this song is played very often in the summer? Probably, many people want such beautiful weather to last longer, so that the summer mood does not leave us all year round. But the Indian summer will still delight us with the last warm days, and the holidays, unfortunately, will go away along with the summer. Let's not be upset, because we will meet with friends with whom we will share our impressions, plans for the future and together we will look forward to the new summer.

Essay “How I spent my summer holidays”

For me, summer is a holiday that lasts three months. At this time of year there is always a good mood and many interesting activities. For example, you can ride a bike, play volleyball and go to all sorts of open-air festivals. However, what I enjoy most is hanging out with friends, chatting and admiring the summer colors.

When the long-awaited warmth arrives, I can finally put on my favorite bright dresses and light shoes. It becomes pleasant to walk, and nature amazes with its diversity, so there is something to see. In the summer, even people are kinder, because they no longer need to shield themselves from the wind and hide from the cold. Therefore, I spared no time to enjoy the sun and its caressing rays. For example, I went swimming and sunbathing several times. I also often rode my bike early in the morning to catch the sunrise in the park.

During the day, we walked with our friends: discussed the news, listened to music and watched videos. Sometimes we would go to someone's house and experiment with cooking in the kitchen. We also took a lot of photographs during our walks, because my friend had recently been given a professional camera as a gift. Now we have photos as good as the models'.

We also went to the cinema and to a cafe, where we had a great time. When I came home, the first thing I did was write about my impressions in social network. It was this summer that I discovered that I’m pretty good at it, so I’m even going to start my own blog someday.

Of course, it's a pity when summer passes. However, I only have bright and good memories of the holidays, because I spent them with pleasure and benefit. I hope the school year will be as enjoyable and productive.

Essay “How I spent my summer” 7th grade

This summer has been interesting. The first month of vacation was very similar to previous summer vacations, since I stayed in the city. However, the next two summer months turned out to be incredibly interesting for me - I spent them in the village with my aunt. It is with these days spent outside the city that the most striking events and indelible impressions of my summer are associated with me.

Time in the village passes slowly, not at all like in big cities. It feels like a whole month has passed, when in fact it’s only a week. My morning usually starts with helping my aunt in the garden. Our village is located far from the village, and tap water is an unheard of luxury. So I go to the well with two old iron buckets. The water there is stunningly clean and very cold. I also help my aunt around the house, but whenever possible I run to play with my friends.

I have good friends in the village. We spend all our free time together. During the hottest time, we sit for hours on the bank of the river. After a swim, we frolic with all our might and look at the passing barges. One day my aunt gave me a hard time because I didn’t come to dinner. But in fact, I didn’t feel like eating at all, because together with my friend Pashka we were baking potatoes in the fire. It's such a pleasure to transfer hot potatoes from hand to hand, and then break them and eat them piece by piece. Do you agree that this is not a plate of cooked soup? And most importantly - how much romance and happiness there are in these summer days, spent as if in another world!

I spent summer evenings in a real wooden hut. As a rule, after dinner my aunt was visited by her friends. Sitting at a large round table, they drank tea. And I was hiding on a large stone stove, or looking at books, or “getting my head around,” as my grandmother liked to say. But to tell the truth, I kept a diary, and, like Robinson Crusoe on a desert island, I counted down the days remaining until I returned to the city.

Sometimes it occurs to me that a village is an island remote from the city, and life on it follows a different rhythm. Either because of the proximity to nature, or perhaps simply because large cities, in the endless pursuit of technological progress, have become detached from a calm, measured life. But be that as it may, I am a city person. Which means my place is there. And yet, every time I leave this quiet island of tranquility, I will miss my village.

Description of “Summer” in artistic style

Summer is a wonderful time of year. Long sunny days are followed by short warm nights. Most often the weather is clear and the endless blue sky stretches overhead. The trees are lushly dressed in bright green clothes. Under them, grass grows thickly everywhere, dotted with colorful lights of summer flowers - poppies, bells, clover, tansy, chamomile, marigolds... And above them butterflies flutter and all sorts of goosebumps buzz.
